I misplaced my pebble remote and messed up the automation!

I misplaced my pebble remote, but had a spare so successfully had a go at pairing it to the 2 lounge blinds. However I had unknowingly not paired it to the hub, couldn’t work out how to fix, so rang luxaflex. Callum was excellent at diagnosing the issues and very patiently talked me through fixing it all. Thanks Callum, your service was excellent!!

Pack click and collect items with more care!!

Ordered a click and collect item which was available next day. Item is a small stencil which would have fitted in an a4 envelope easily. Instead it was packed in a box 40cm x 15cm with loads of corrugated cardboard packaging, with the stencil pushed in the side and bent at a result. More care is required !!! And use appropriate packaging.

Written instructions need reviewing.

I couldn’t get my phone to talk to my 380gwx front and rear camera’s. I tried to chat with nexy the bot but went in circles, then chat box with saffron and between us, we sorted it. I don’t think the instructions are particularly helpful both positive and negative (to be shown no internet connection in my wifi settings causes you to think there is an error; where in fact saffron explained this is correct as it creates its own connection). So 4/5 as instructions could be a lot easier to read; support was good from saffron, although if you want to talk to a real person you have to call another number - would be better if you could talk to one support staff or they call you straight back / but hey, this modern world segregated and silos, making things much harder to sort than a simple chat / this is not a complaint against nextbase, but a simple observation of a person oh mature years !!

Buy direct from a professional maker

Ordered a sofa and 2 matching chairs from James and Rose after visiting their workshop a couple of times, where we had very pleasant experiences and were able to ask questions direct with the clearly evident professionals. We'd previously bought from a high end manufacturer only 3 years ago and regretted it after year 1 as it was clearly made to a price point. Our furniture arrived a little earlier than original schedule and delivered fully wrapped and protected by a friendly team. We did experience a slight issue with a squeak on the sofa, but they came out next day, inspected it, and fixed it within 2 days. You never want to have an issue, but if you do, its a sign of a great company that takes immediate responsibility and ownership and sorts it (so no middle men who liaise with suppliers and take an age to resolve!). Thanks James and Rose, we love our new furniture.

Simply excellent!

We are absolutely delighted with Vispa !!!!!

It was really simple to contract, assisted very ably and amiably by Jade. We did have issues as we could not get an internet connection, which proved to be due to the poor installation of the cabling by British Fibre Network (BFN). Jamie, from Vispa, visited us and spent around 1/2 day fixing the various issues caused by BFN. He was patient, confident and dedicated to ensuring we got up and running as soon as possible. Considering it was not in the remit of Vispa to do this, Jamie went above and beyond his remit, which is top notch service! Thanks Jamie !!!

If you are looking for excellence, go Vispa!!! With the attitude they demonstrate, this company will inevitably be one to watch in future.

Switched to Octopus 2 years ago and since then have always been delighted. Easy to use, brilliant and helpful contacts when I needed that bit of extra support. As long as they remain competitive, I don't see a reason to move away.

What an excellent experience

I hadn’t thought about moving my savings until NS&I had decided to dramatically reduce their interest rates, which prompted me to carry out a review. I’m really glad I did now and I guess it would have been beneficial to do this a while ago, but comfort and security in NS&I created a feeling of do nothing.
I had seen Savings Champion pop up a few times during my searches and in newspapers, so I decided to contact them to find out what it was all about. From the very first, and prompt, phone call to them I was treated well, felt no pressure and was surprised to receive some advice there and then after sharing what I believed were my needs. Daniel Darragh at Savings Champion was absolutely superb from the first call, to assessing my needs and helping me think through options available, to carrying out the detailed research (along with the team!) through to assisting with the applications in some detail and right up until the point of confirmation from various banking institutions; and even then is available to me for advice and assistance. The fee I paid for the service will be paid back many times with the additional interest paid.
Daniel is my rock star and I have no hesitation in recommending Savings Champion and I will certainly be using them again in the future.

Never use yodel

Never use yodel; absolutely awful and don't deserve the one star, but can't give zero. survey asks if you would like contact.. 2/3 i say yes; 2/3 no contact; await result of 3rd (today)

Occasion 1 - Driver parks large vehicle on my drive that wont take the weight; bangs loudly on from door (when the bell is adequate)

Occasion 2 - bangs loudly on front door and has dumped the parcel on my doorstep way before i can get to door. I shout to driver who by this time is climbing back into his cab - doorbell works.. his reply "your drive, no entry, i am on road"

Occasion 3 (today) - I leave a note on door (under bell, next to letterbox) to leave parcel with a neighbour opposite.. When I arrive home, neighbour tells me no delivery.. I find 2 parcels next to a shrub on my front garden.. totally insecure and surprised they are still there! Yodel tracking website shows 'delivered to a safe place' and 'left as authorised' - would dearly love to hear this fairytale!

TV search

Bought an LG tv 55sk8100 pla from Richer Sounds at Stockport today.

Opening hours were 12:00, but we were very busy, so i called them and they were happy to greet us at 10:00. We parked in Richer car park (parking is always a challenge these days!) and had 1:1 attention from Tom. What I liked was Tom's ability to explain and show, and compare with other TV's without any sales pressure at all. There's always a better set in tv shops and you can always spend more (and get better quality at a price), but Tom kept to my brief of good tv set at good price point. Thanks for your help Tom.

One thing I think Richer are missing out on (and this is a possible opportunity and no way a criticism). In a few months we plan to buy a new TV for a new property. We need an outside aerial, some internal aerial points, additional power point, wall mounting etc.. Its a shame I can't do this all through Richer Sounds and keep it simple.... If you can do it all, it would simplify my decision making process!

Cost effective, professional and so easy

I have used DTD previously and when my daughter wanted to purchase a new car, I had absolutely no hesitation in recommending DTD. Buying a new car can start as an exciting adventure, but which can become highly stressful and pressurised. With the professionalism and help of DTD, it's just so easy and quick.
They also advised on deals that helped to reduce the price by a further £2.5k so my daughter was delighted. The actual car dealership was fantastic from the sales guy all the way to the delivery driver, who arrived earlier than promised, had clearly taken care of the care, and was knowledgeable and friendly.

Thank you DTD. I have absolutely no hesitation in using you again and recommending you.

Professional service, great discount, excellent service

This is the 2nd time I have used DtD. On both occasions I found them to be very easy to deal with and got a good discount on both occasions. After finding the car of choice I find this method less stressful than trawling car dealers and negotiating, which can be a pain. The dealer was excellent, there was a long lead time on the car, but I was kept informed. They delivered it early in the day from over 250 miles away; the driver was great and I believe he treated my car with total respect. I would definitely use DtD in the future.
