VIRGIN MOBILE Awful service and dreadful technical back up.

VIRGIN MOBILE IRELAND
I moved to a VN sim plan over a year ago and had no problem in Ireland or with roaming until …..2nd September last in London when all access to a network stopped, no msgs, calls or data.
The advice (finally) was to turn off Automatic network selection (why?) and try each network manually. The 4th worked. I lost half a day of my time getting resolved.
All good I thought until ….i got off the ferry in Bilbao on the 14th September with same problem. Hours of searching for help (chat only works for TV, landline & broadband, and 1908 does not work when away) I finally phoned (a charge call!), and after 30-40 mins the technical help agent couldn’t resolve. He raised a case and promised it would be given priority, but it was never resolved. Again I wasted a whole lot of my time in vain - throughout the time away I had to rely on Wi-Fi and offline maps when I should have had full cover and 32gb roaming.

Today, 22nd Sept, I arrived back in Ireland to a perfect connection.

Note that my husband’s Eir service had no problem at all connecting to networks and roaming.

Very fed up and will switch provider asap

Bit confusing facts & figures…

Bit confusing facts & figures particularly about output. Said 2-7 days delivery but actually took nearly 3 weeks.

apologies, I missed that the colour versions have longer delivery times so I retract that statement

Regarding delivery, our stated timeframe is 5–20 working days, and your order was delivered on the 12th working day, which falls within that window. However, we understand how the "2–7 days" mentioned elsewhere may have caused confusion.

Great parking for airport

Great parking for airport. Close and easy to navigate with good transfers. Very helpful staff via contact bell at gate.
A display at the stops telling bus times would really help particularly off peak.

Flight changed before confirmed or paid

Flight changed before I confirmed or paid for the change - causing me enormous hassle, and ultimately expense, to change back.
Customer service difficult to access and of no help.

Better ship notice required

Despite promise of email to say when product is shipped, there is no email. Then only an hours notice on whatever day it arrives.
Very large cardboard box used which just goes straight to recycling - there’s no need for this box for a large bag of dog food.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you did not receive the order confirmation. Our system is automated and all emails should be sent. You should have received an email and text message the night before form our courier. In relation to the box, this is essential as the courier will not take products that can be damaged so easily.

Great delivery service but .....

Great delivery service. Tracking told me it was with Hermes, not on its way or with the courier but .....bingo it arrived at the door. Lucky I was in. Site has frustrating difficulty to contact anyone

Trip to Portp

Flight went to plan, a great city, but hotel fell short of 4 star. Lovely staff but room facilities were lacking. The main fuse blew initially and had to be reset, there no bed side sockets and when we went looking we found cables taped together that did not look 100% safe. Breakfast was good but tables were left uncleared so that guests had to use overflow room.
