Totally Unsatisfied

I really regret buying a car from these guys.
I bought a Kia from RRG Bury for my wife who had previously had a good experience from them. We weren’t ripped off as such, but things I expected to happen as there’s so much competition in this industry was lacking.
Firstly they gave less for an immaculate trade in than ‘We buy any car’ had offered, when it’s a given these days that dealers use these to base a trade in on. The salesman promised they would match, but if not he would explain why. He never did and quickly moved on.
Secondly we had to pick the car up from their service department which is over the road. The service department pressured us to purchase a service plan, which we decided to leave for now after already spending a lot to get the car in the first place. We bought the car in January and at the start of July I received a phone call to book the car in for service. I was staggered they wanted nearly £300 for a ‘Kia’ for its third service. I genuinely thought the car was good for 12 months and regretted even more buying this car. I contacted the sales guy to explain why this was the case and whether he could do something about it. He never got back to me.
The last issue is one of the tyres needs replacing very soon. My wife works in the emergency department of our local hospital which is only 2 miles away. I don’t think she’s gone any where near 1000 miles and already a tyre has a low tread.
Apologies for rambling and I will conclude that RRG Bury no longer values customers or customer care and satisfaction (remember during covid when everyone banged pans on their doorstep for all the professionals working through the pandemic, well my wife was one of the hard workers who got us through it all and gave second to none care. RRG needs to remember what care truly is.)
I truly regret buying this car from them. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere and pray that your experience doesn’t leave you with the bitter taste this one has left us with.

Lastly the Kia Stonic is a very annoying car which constantly beeps at you. Yes it’s a safety feature but it should be simple to switch them all off if you don’t want you car to rule your journey. Watch out for a fuller review of the Stonic which been dropped from the range, strangely for some reason???

AVOID

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If you use Trustpilot and still buy from these charlatans you will surely regret it.
I bought some cargo shorts which were made from fabric which is so flimsy it would only just suit making a t-shirt from. The aged/washed look is created by screen printing the pattern and looks terrible and cheap. They promote themselves as being able to handle returns easily without issue. What they fail to tell is that you have to return it to china and even then they have stated on email to ensure they actually receive it. So in other words they would probably deny all knowledge and still not give a refund.

I will add more comments as things progress.

Zero Customer Service

I bought a Halfords power washer a couple of years ago and an internal part failed. It was a tiny plastic elbow joint which failed and caused the washer to leak internally.
I couldn’t find my receipt (not easy to keep receipts for everything I’ve ever bought), but I was hoping for a good level of customer service being a large retailer and a company which tries to come across a leading supplier of car accessories etc. instead I received a very unhelpful staff member who wouldn’t deal with me as I didn’t have a receipt, even though the washer was labelled’Halfords’. I wasn’t being pushy and explained I’d be happy to purchase the part and he was still adamant and rather abrupt.
I could have been electrocuted using this washer and he didn’t give a damn. I also have had issues previously with the thermal receipts stores prefer to use with them fading and becoming illegible. I ended up asking him politely if he would dispose of the useless washer , even though it was in excellent condition, he agreed which was the only decent thing he did.
My issues and points I was to get across to Halfords are the poor customer service I received and also the poor quality of their own brand products which looked like they are designed to fail. Also if you want customers to retain receipts, use paper which doesn’t degrade over time.
I will no longer support Halfords like I have previously and even bought coolant online from Amazon who have always impressed me with their no nonsense approach to customer satisfaction. You could learn off Amazon.

Shameful

Please, please, please look for another ticket provider. This company has zero capacity for customer service and if you have an issue you will wish you had listened.
I booked 4 tickets to Leeds festival, early entry weekend camping which were expensive. Since then I have obtained a camper van and want to use it for the weekend. All I wanted was 2 of the tickets to be swapped for camper van versions and I would happily pay a little extra for this exchange. Instead I was told to buy brand new tickets and they would refund the original ones. I have just lost my job and explained I simply cannot afford to buy more tickets. This meant nothing to them and this was the response.

“We understand that this frustrates you, however, we can't process the exchange here on our end, we can only advise you to rebook new tickets and we will refund your previous tickets.

I'm sorry that we can't help you further with this, but if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.”

This was from Ticketmaster themselves who I purchased the tickets from originally, so how on earth can they not assist me if it’s the same company? It appears they may have a policy which they clearly stick to, but surely they should be able to offer more than they have?

This may appear trivial to some, but imagine yourself jobless and having to almost beg for help.

Shame on you Ticketmaster, shame!

Suspected SPAM

I have just been approached out of the blue.

“Here we have an independent job that is time-flexible and most importantly doesn't affect your current full-time job since you can work whenever and wherever you prefer as there are no time constraints. It can be done anywhere by using a smartphone/laptop and just takes about 30-45 minutes every day.”

This is how they approach and it looks interesting, I certainly was at the start.

“Our job is to assist the retailer that applies SegmentStream’s service to drive their product data value. So that they can gain more exposure to attract consumers and investors in order to expand their market.”
Sounds legitimate I suppose?
“The system will distribute 40 products for us to drive. We can earn 0.5% of the product price for each product and 1.5% for each merge data. If we have the opportunity to get combined product data from doing the data submission , we can earn more from it. The probability of the combined data appearing is very low, but it provides triple profit/commission.
“You will have two sets of product data to complete daily, and it takes an average of 30-45 minutes maximum daily . Each Set has 40 products as you can see in the picture above. The 1st set of 40 data can earn about 5, the 2nd set can earn about 10, which means we can earn a commission rate of 10 - 12% from each set of data.”
“You will be paid a Basic Salary of 1400 per week (ie, : 100 on the 2nd day of working, 500 on the 5th day and 800 on the 7th day. We have to complete 2 sets of 40 product data sets to register a working day. These are average values and, You can easily earn more commission than that depending on how seriously you take the job.”

I’ve pasted her end of the conversation for people to make their own minds up, but I will take advice from above and go no further.

Nightmare company

Nightmare company! Just read reviews and it looks like, when they deliver on time all is well? But when a delivery has got into the 3rd month it’s a total joke company. I’m also on hold for over 10 minutes at 3pm in the afternoon and no one is answering. 4th call today as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will update if things improve.
I’ve since had to pester slightly but it worked and my shed is being delivered today. They had real issues with their supplier and had to upgrade my shed. So it was a terrible start, but they have redeemed themselves slightly. Cheers to Ian who managed to resolve this issue for me.
Update. They are now threatening to remove this post if the don’t give them further information? And a year later, unsurprisingly.
The shed came well packed to be fair. After a fair bit of unpacking i was ready to go. Unfortunately the roof was an absolute nightmare! I had to use some extra wood to get it straight as it’s poorly made up of four separate pieces. I did everything the guide said and it’s laid on a nice new flat surface. It still took ages to get it to a level where the felt lay nicely, but I managed a decent level eventually.
My advice if you thinking of a shed from this company is to get them to build it. What it costs in hard cash will be made up by you having a stress free full day.

Worst customer service

This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced? I have had countless issues (normally not receiving items) and they have not resolved a single one. I have been made to jump through hoops on a phone app which is ridiculous. Sort yourself out guys, good customer service is easy to achieve when you actually care. I've been made to feel like I'm trying to steal something valuable, which is a joke.

Aggressive company.

This is an aggressive company run by charlatans. It's easy to set up, but when you try to cancel, it's impossible to do so. It's also supposed to be discreet but yet I've received 13 emails which is a total joke. I've had to contact my bank to intervene and stop all further payments. The packaging is also over the top for what should be a discreet service. Never again.

They have responded below. I did try to pause within a fair timeframe, yet they attempted to take funds anyway. Also why have a pause facility but not a cancel one?
Looking at different ways to communicate? Try less.

You’re in complete control of your subscription – while you’re automatically sent refills of your prescription for your ease and convenience, you can pause or cancel them at any time. You can also freeze your repeat prescription indefinitely, or for a determined period of time by following the below steps:

Sign in to your account www.numan.com/login
Select the ‘Treatments’ tab.
Click on ‘Manage’ for the treatment you would like to control.
You can then turn Automatic Refills to ‘OFF’ by using the toggle.
You will then be able to pause your prescription indefinitely. This will stop prescriptions from being despatched and payments being taken.

The pause function means that you do not need to provide medical information before each individual order. If you prefer to cancel then you just let us know and we can do that for you.

The packaging is discreet as orders are delivered in a small brown cardboard box. It is only when you open the box that you can see our marketing material.

Personalised banner

I ordered a personalised banner with names and congratulations underneath etc. I only received the names and not the full banner which is apparently my fault for not writing the whole banner even though the image I purchased against had the congratulations and the option to add names etc. which is really unclear? Be extra careful when ordering to make sure you actually get what you think you have ordered.
They are also appalling at answering emails

As easy to use as a provider should be. The website does everything you need and submitting readings is a doddle. Cheapest provider I could find and it shows when you get asked outside a supermarket ‘who’s your provider’ and when you tell them OctopusEnergy they simply shut up and stop trying to sell you a new provider.
