Bahia Principe Tenerife - A Pleasant Surprise

We recently stayed at Bahia Principe Tenerife, and while I had read some mixed reviews beforehand and had some concerns, I’m happy to say that our experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with daily water replenishments. The views from our room, especially the sunset over the sea, were spectacular. The beds were slightly firmer than I prefer, but they suited my partner perfectly. When I called to request a mattress topper, it arrived promptly and made the bed much more comfortable.

The hotel is located in a fairly remote area, with not much nearby, but there are plenty of places to walk and transportation options if you wish to explore further. In front of the hotel, there was an area with tents and caravans, almost like a little village. The people staying there were friendly, and my partner enjoyed interacting with them during his ventures.

The buffet offered a good variety of food to suit different tastes—while it wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, it was still pleasant. The hotel also has several à la carte restaurants, although they were fully booked when we arrived. Thankfully, the customer experience desk at the sister hotel managed to secure us a spot at the Asian restaurant, which was absolutely beautiful. The Indian restaurant at the sister hotel was also a delightful and unexpected experience. It was a nice touch that with the all-inclusive package, you could access the sister hotel’s pools, restaurants, and entertainment.

The entertainment was decent. I particularly enjoyed the daytime activities—there was something for everyone, and the staff worked hard to make it a fun experience. The aqua aerobics and underwater spinning were especially enjoyable. I can’t comment much on the evening entertainment as we spent most nights at the sister hotel, nor on the children’s activities as we don’t have kids.

The hotel grounds were clean, and there were plenty of sunbeds available during our stay. The drinks and food at the pool bar were good, with options like burgers, chips, and pizza.

Overall, we had a very positive experience, and for the price, it was excellent value. If we return to Tenerife, Bahia Principe will be our go-to stay.

SCAM - BEWARE

I wrote a book and was super excited to have this published on Amazon. All started well, good deals, great communication and so on, as time went on, they didn’t seem to listen to my feedback about what I wanted, then communication became non existant. I tried to raise a complaint, would be told this would be looked into, still no response so I tried to raise another complaint, the email bounced, this email does not exist, so I emailed their customer service team, bounced again, called the number, not in service. For anyone who has had money taken, call your bank, they may be able to help, secondly, request a new bank card, they still have your details and finally if they set you up an account on KDP publishing, be aware they now have your personal details and bank details that are linked to the account. Very clever, I don’t usually fall for a scam but this one had me. I will also be reporting them to action fraud tomorrow to prevent this happening to anyone else!

Purchased a hoodie and trouser set for my nephew's birthday and after 1 day the trousers had bobbled. For the cost I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the clothing.

Excellent service, highly recommend

I unfortunately lost my long-term position during the pandemic, I signed up to a lot of agencies but none of these even came close to the service I received at Express Recruitment. I was assigned to Charley Tazey who did everything she could to help me back into work. Charley went above and beyond the expected level of customer service required. After 2 weeks of being out of work Charley managed to find me a temporary 1-month contract and before I had even finished that contract, she managed to find me a temporary (long-term) contract working with the local Council. Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for this amazing woman, it has been an absolute pleasure working with Charley, she listened to my every need and genuinely cared about what I wanted and where I wanted to be. A service like no other!! Thank you :D

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

I recently signed up Betfred, saw an offer which enticed me, bet £10 and get £30 in free bets. So I placed my £10.

The next day I went to the site and tried to log in but it said my credentials were incorrect? I knew they were right so i waited inline for the live chat.

I told the lady I couldnt access my account and her response was 'we have closed your account it is a business decision'

I am absolutely disgusted and outraged that stealing like this is allowed! I placed my bet, used my money fair and square, they happily took my money and let me place the bet!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This place should be closed down! I dread to think how many people they have stolen from and ripped off. DO NOT BET WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

We are moving house and went to Curry's Nottingham to purchase our kitchen appliances. Olive (the lady who served us) was absolutely fantastic, she listened to what we wanted, helped us find the best deal and had a very bubbly personality. I would highly recommend this lady to anyone visiting Currys

BE AWARE YOUR GIVEN A CREDIT CHECK TO ORDER

I am currently in the process of buying a house and went online to order some new towels and a bathroom set, Studio was cheap so I decided to place the order with them. I received an order acknowledgement and waited for my delivery, only my delivery never came. When I called to find out what happened they said there was no record of the order on the system. I checked my junk folder and saw that my registration had been declined due to an unsuccessful credit check. A CREDIT CHECK??? to order some towels? My credit rating is near on perfect and this could now potentially cause me problems!! BE VERY AWARE WHEN ORDERING FROM STUDIO

Matthew at L&C was absolutely amazing…

Matthew at L&C was absolutely amazing in every way. He did everything possible to get us the best mortgage deal and took away all the stresses involved in trying to find a mortgage lender. He was consistent, very prompt with his responses and managed to get us a lender and a pre approved mortgage within 1 day! I would highly recommend L&C especially Matthew who I felt went above and beyond what any average broker would. I will certainly use them in the future should I need to.

DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT!

When I booked my holiday I was told I was getting a luxury 4 star hotel, transfers and a great deal. The transfer service dropped us at the wrong hotel so we had to pay for a taxi to get to where we were staying, when we eventually got to our hotel, we were charged additional taxes (this wasn't mentioned during our booking) I wouldn't have given the hotel a 2 star rating let alone 4 stars, it certainly wasn't a luxury, we had a small basement room with twin beds (even after requesting and being told we would have a double) I called Teletext during my holiday to complain and they said to call when I returned to the UK. I called when I had returned and they said I should have called while I was away! After writing an official complaint to teletext I received a response in which they wouldn't take any responsibly for the issues raised, no apology and no reimbursement. Absolutely disgusting service. After the cost of the holiday (massively overpriced) additional costs (taxi and taxes) I could have paid to go to somewhere a lot better. I will never book with them again. I feel like I was robbed and lied to.
