I wouldn't recommend at all.

Purchased several gift cards from them. One £100 gift card for Amazon wasn't valid. They then swapped it out with another one. After adding that gift card, my amazon account was blocked and the gift card voided. Amazon eventually restored my account after verifying my identity and sending in numerous documents, but refused to reactivate the gift card citing fraud. Screenshots and 8 emails with Cards2Cash I'm told I have to go back to Amazon and tell them to ignore their policy and make them take proof from them and reinstate the gift card. Apparently spending over an hour to resolve this isn't enough and Cards2cash are refusing to help. Seems I'll be going back to cardyard who resolve issues swiftly.

Will continue to order

We've made several orders for home and work and haven't had an issue. Everything as described and the order is packaged very well, which is refreshing to see these days. I see lots of people complaining about prices, and I have seen some prices go up considerably however when I've checked elsewhere they have done the same. For speciality items this is just the way it is. The candied almonds are spot on btw :) and around 50% cheaper than M&S.

My business broadband stopped working…

My business broadband stopped working for several days and was intermittent for weeks. TT kept sending automated messages and didn't do anything. I couldn't play songs or view emails it was that poor. Then when I reset the router after several attempts it blocked up (at the request of TT) Now TT have ignored my request for a new router and say it's £129. Also they said they won't be giving any compensation either even though it states in their own terms they should and it warrants automatic compensation. The complaints advisor if you can call them that, just repeated from a script and didn't have any inclination to resolve the complaint. After 20 minutes I just asked for copies of notes and calls and they didn't even offer to escalate. Nowhere in their terms does it state they'd charge for a faulty router being replaced. I'll be taking it up with head office and then the DR provider.

Terrible experience and wouldn't recommend.

I have to say it was an intial good experience with ordering. But it went down hill from there. Night before delivery I got email telling me the delivery was the 4th November. Then I got another to say the delivery was cancelled for the 4th November and you'd contact me again. You then delivered the dishwasher only (delivery guys nice) and no hob. I was told it wasn't on the delivery schedule and they'd deliver at a later date. Email you with no response. After checking the online delivery tracker it shows that it was delivered on the 4th. But it wasn't and the delivery driver said he'd take a picture of the dishwasher to show POD. The confirmation invoice I got also only showed the dishwasher. So today I've called and for 1 hour 20 minutes. Got through and within 15 seconds the adviser said they couldn't hear me and then put me through for a survey. Disgusted to say the least. So now I have no hob but it's showing as delivered on the 4th November.

So I gave my order number and details via trust pilot and low and behold they didn't contact me. Apparently I should call again which is over an hour wait or email them all the details. I've already emailed you with the proof and cancelled delivery for the hob but you still haven't replied after 45 days. In the end I just sent the evidence to my CC provider and they claimed it back off them.

Been using NWTT at Lockett Road for the…

Been using NWTT at Lockett Road for the past month due to change in needs and I've been about a dozen times. The website is easy to use and being local means I can get quick delivery at a flat cost of £12. The team in the store and in the yard are what you'd want from a merchants. They keep it simple and know what products they stock. When items are out of stock, they put it on order and ring to say when it's landed. Well done.

Never delivered the item

Update! The only response you get from these people is “we’ll feed it back”. That’s code that they’ve got zero customer service and go away as we don’t care. Still not got my item and the update on the tracking states “undelivered as no time”.

Email from Very that the delivery would be between approx 3.15pm - 6.15pm today by ArrowXL. Got a tracking link and then the tracking doesn't update after delivery 32 and I'm still waiting. It's now 7.50pm and still nothing. Spoke to someone on chat at ArrowXL who said please call us as our deliveries have finished for the day. Then they updated the tracking to say delivery was unsuccessful. I've been in all day and other companies managed to deliver. This isn't the first time this company lies about deliveries. It's like dealing with Hermes. If they rang and explained they made a mistake or had an issue at least you'd know.

Charged £4 a litre for fuel

Hired a digger and once collected I was charged for the fuel. Understand topping up the fuel would be needed however I was charged £3.97 a litre for diesel. Considering it's less than £1.50 a litre this excess charging is outrageous and under the consumer rights act I would say it's unfair charging considering it doesn't say anywhere they would charge double the going rate for fuel. On a different matter I tried to call them before returning the digger and after selecting all the options for the different areas the phone was picked up then dropped. Things happen so I tried again, and they hung up for a further 4 times. So I emailed them using the email provided and had no reply. I then rang the number on the invoice and it said it didn't exist. Overall I wouldn't order from here again. When you add on the delivery charge, the collection charge, the waiver charge that doesn't actually cover you for all the cost it makes it a poor rental. On top of the £100 deposit they wanted me to pay for the £80 fuel charge before they would refund the deposit. Why would I pay you more money when you already have £100 extra. I'd rather go Jewson's instead in future. I will be disputing the charge!

Unable to put an order through using a…

Unable to put an order through using a referral link. Only advice given was to call and put the order through. This means I wouldn't get the cashback being offered which is approved by Vodafone. Many attempts, different cards, bank details, browsers, locations and still the same issue. Seems it's an existing issue that has never been fixed. Went elsewhere.

I bought a new display for my new ipad…

I bought a new display for my new ipad for my business. Great price, around 50% cheaper to the nearest quality competitor. Delivery is quick, emails keeping you updated and the product is spot on. I previously used Armourdog 7 years ago which is how long it's lasted. The only reason I've bought a new one is due to the old Ipad failing. The old case is still working fine. Happy to recommend.

Made an order and after 10 days the…

Made an order and after 10 days the motherboard hadn't been dispatched, even though it shows as 'Free Priority Delivery from Tomorrow'.

Emailed them to say please cancel the order as the price has now gone down by over £30 and I'd buy elsewhere as it hadn't even been dispatched.

They ignored my request then a few days later posted the order.

I ordered a few things from them via ebay and there website - around £600 but due to the poor customer services I wouldn't recommend. If they replied and resolved happy to update otherwise I'd use Box.co.uk It seems ignoring customers is common looking at other reviews. Such a shame as it makes you never return to a company.

Got a faulty pillow so I emailed Simba

FINAL UPDATE
After some back and forth they have sent me a replacement pillow on the basis that my original order didn't have any consumer rights. Hmmm. As I've got the replacement I'm not going to explain consumer law but wouldn't buy from them again. Changed 1 star to 3.

UPDATE-

Got an email from Trustpilot stating Simba don't believe this is a genuine review. Had to supply information to prove it was genuine. Since then Simba haven't even been in touch. No wonder they spend so much money on advertising. It's to replace the existing ones they lose.

Got a faulty pillow so I emailed Simba, but after 2 weeks I got nothing. I posted on Simba Facebook page but after 4 days I’ve still got no reply. They had enough time to post how much they love their customers and they offer great products. Wouldn’t recommend as they failed to respond or honour a warranty claim. Rubbish!

Apparently the collection drivers couldn't be bothered unless it's new items

Had two sofas put outside as it was arranged they would be collected. Was told a call would be made 30 minutes before hand.

Two men turned up who looked like they were fed up. Didn't call in advance and said the sofa had a rip on the underside of the sofa ( the black plastic backing) so they wouldn't take it. Checked the sofa and no tear. Seems that they couldn't be bothered lifting the large sofa and wanted to go home. So in summary they didn't take either of the two. Both had safety tags, fire tags and no tears in the materials.

Next time I'd rather just skip the items than wait in all day for no reason. Next time you ask for donations don't bother.

Unfortunately I've wasted my time and will now need to dispose of the sofas instead of getting them rehomed. I would not recommend. Looking online it seems to be a common thing.

Had 2 parcels being sent and one needed…

Had 2 parcels being sent and one needed to be returned to the sender. Provided details via email however no action taken. 40 minutes on hold and nobody answered. Got through to someone on chat after trying for over a day. Provided the specific tracking number for the parcel to be cancelled. They go and cancel the one I wanted and are still delivering the one I didn't. And before you say i gave the wrong reference, I checked a copy of the chat and I gave you the correct one. Useless and it's now cost me £100.

After spending another 40 minutes on hold I managed to speak to someone. They said they couldn't do anything. After I said it's your mistake so resolve it. They arranged to have it put back on for delivery (the mattress is still in their warehouse) but said it wouldn't be on the delivery date previously. So a week later and they scheduled it for today. Emails to say it was today and a timeslot given 11.45am-1.45pm. Nothing arrived nor any updated about a delay. I spoke to someone on chat. They said it hadn't even been put on the vehicle for delivery. At 3pm it said after I kept checking it was on the vehicle for delivery today. It's now 8.11pm and nothing has arrived nor have they updated me. Wasted a day staying in and around 3 hours now of being on the phone/chat. I'd rate myhermes higher. I hope the retailers aren't paying much for this terrible service. To add insult to injury the warehouse is only 10 minutes from my house. If it wasn't a mattress I would've asked to collect it.

long wait times and higher prices

Previously you could get through quite quickly. However post COVID you will wait a long time to be answered. Different people needed to make changes so be prepared to wait 40+ minutes to be connected then an extra 30+ minutes to go back again, and then again. I understand other businesses are this way but as a customer it's still a bitter pill to take. It's simply down to poor call forecasting and low staff levels.

They have jacked up the broker fee by a stupid amount and I can only presume this is to stave off losses or the reduced profit margin.

I tried to clarify but was sternly told that it was what it was.

I had to ring again to get legal cover removed. Even though I previously asked for it to be removed. Another 25 minutes lost.

This was the cheapest quote I could find however I think if this is the state of the company in the future I may pay extra for at least a friendly service.

I can only feel for the staff that have to deal with the disgruntled customers.

And no brightside I don't need to be contacted.

Seemed to good to be true and it was

Chris was quick and actually listened to my enquiry. Then Russell was taking over as Chris was on holiday. Chris asked Russell to give me a quote but after a week, nothing. I called him to be called the wrong name even after correcting him.

I was then offered a vehicle that was wrong as when you ask for a lease then get told the price to buy it :-/. Was told I’d get a call back the next day but wait for it, nothing!

Left it a few days but nothing again. Called and was told he’d chase it up. Finally got an email with a price 30% dearer than the last quote. Checked the website and it’s listed at the cheaper price.

He explained everybody was busy but seemed like he was either tired, overworked or just not bothered.

Seems like a bait and switch and if you can’t provide the service, don’t offer it.

I won’t be using them and I won’t get back the time I wasted.

Initial contact was promising and a few…

Initial contact was promising and a few emails back and forth asking for details was timely.

However when the Mortgage Adviser asked for something that was incorrect, and I provided information from the third party he never bothered replying.

You can't get through on his number and numerous emails go unanswered. Weeks later and nothing!

Whether that person has left, to busy to reply or just not bothered I will never know.

Went direct to lender after 20 minutes narrowing down my options. Application done in 2 days and now just progressing.

I've heard so many good reviews about L&C but it's a shame I'd never use them or recommend them at all.

I could complain and waste my time however they've wasted enough of my time already.
