long wait times and higher prices
Previously you could get through quite quickly. However post COVID you will wait a long time to be answered. Different people needed to make changes so be prepared to wait 40+ minutes to be connected then an extra 30+ minutes to go back again, and then again. I understand other businesses are this way but as a customer it's still a bitter pill to take. It's simply down to poor call forecasting and low staff levels.
They have jacked up the broker fee by a stupid amount and I can only presume this is to stave off losses or the reduced profit margin.
I tried to clarify but was sternly told that it was what it was.
I had to ring again to get legal cover removed. Even though I previously asked for it to be removed. Another 25 minutes lost.
This was the cheapest quote I could find however I think if this is the state of the company in the future I may pay extra for at least a friendly service.
I can only feel for the staff that have to deal with the disgruntled customers.
And no brightside I don't need to be contacted.
