Comparison site recommended a rubbish parking company

I used a web site Compare Airport Parking Deals to find parking at Manchester airport. I got a reply and confirmation of my booking from smartparkingdeals.uk. On the basis of cost and distance from airport I chose Vacationcare Premium Self-Park and the booking confirmation immediately added £20 for the "free" airport shuttle. This is dishonest. I've since read Trust Pilot reviews for Vacationcare parking and am now very worried not only about the extra cost but also the quality of the shuttle if it ever arrives.

BEWARE I have not even parked yet

I have not even parked my car with them yet but I wish I had not booked parking with this company. I chose them from a Compare Airport Parking Deals web site for Manchester Airport. The booking confirmation immediately tacked on £20 for the "free" shuttle bus. I contacted their chat and exchanged one message with "Martin" who just confirmed that yes I would have to pay £20 more than I'd expected and who completely ignored my response to this. I could cancel my booking but it will cost £20 to do this and they are so disorganised that I don't trust them to refund my money.

Holiday Extras behave like scammers and scared the wits out of me

Holiday Extras contacted me after I'd booked an overnight hotel at Manchester Airport to catch a flight I had booked next morning. One e-mail I received from Holiday Extras is entitled "Your trip has been created "
and in the text of the e-mail it says BOOKING CONFIRMED. They claimed to have booked me flights that I didn't want, departure time 4.55 am. This worried me. I never asked them for flights to anywhere.
Trying to find out how to contact them was a challenge in itself, and then any attempts on my part to find out why they think I would want a flight at 4.55 am or indeed at all have been met with silence or woolly responses.
Their behavior suggests total disorganisation or scamming.
I've asked for an explanation and an apology but this is not forthcoming.

Lovely dressing gown

The dressing gown, a gift for my husband, looks even nicer in real life than it did on the photos. It feels lovely, too. Delivery was astoundingly quick.
I have not, of course washed the garment yet, but will follow the instructions and not use conditioner.
The price was expensive, but it's such a pleasure to look at even hanging on the back of the door, that I think it was worth it.

I had no idea what colour wood stain I needed to touch up some damage on door frames in my home. Getting a mixture (tester kit) was precisely what I needed.
The stains are water based, and benefit from a top coat of varnish.

Cancelled flights no refund

Cancelled flights, no refund available, no help whatsoever.
Lastminute.com took my money for flights which were then cancelled by the airline. They are refusing to refund my costs, offering me instead a voucher for lastminute.com or a fine of £70. Realistically after this experience I may never fly again, and I advise everyone NEVER to use lastminute.com so a voucher with them is about as useful as a paper boat across the river Styx.

Friendly and efficient

I turned up without appointment after a blow out on the front wheel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Costs of new tyre options were well explained. The only reason for not awarding 5 stars was that the technician forgot to put the wheel nut covers on. This took me about one minute after I'd noticed.

Almost missed the flight due to paperwork errors from TestnGo

It was easy to order the kit and it arrived in my home during my absence. To fill in the Passenger Locator form for UK on return I needed the purchase order. My purchase order had 5 letters and 6 numbers. I very nearly missed my return flight Geneva to Edinburgh due to the fact that the purchase order should have 7 numbers. I'd not used TestnGo service before so had no idea what length the purchase order ought to be. As it was, I, and a number of other people were majorly inconvenienced. I have requested TestnGo return my fee to compensate for this for nearly missing the flight.. What happened was that I initially attempted to fill in the PLF UK form on Saturday, as my flight was leaving very early on Monday morning (24th January 2022) and having worked my way to the end of the form, it rejected the wrong order number. I tried this about 3 or 4 times on Saturday, and sent TestnGo an urgent request. I phoned my UK home to request whether a package had arrived which it had, but the correct purchase number was not on the package which merely had 6 numbers. Needless to say, I became more and more anxious on the Sunday as my departure for the airport was at 7.30 am. No reply from TestnGo. As I'd damaged my knee, and was in a wheel chair, in desperation I clicked the "exempt for urgent medical reason" button on the form and managed to get a PLF e-mailed to me.
At 7am, Monday morning, far too late to re do the PLF, TestnGo sent me the correct number. Fortunately I was early and from the special assistance area at the airport I got taken to Easyjet check in before any other passengers. The check in man wanted to see my UK PLC and then demanded to see the paperwork as to why I was exempt. So I explained that I'd attempted to fill it in about 10 times, and that it didn't recognise the code your TestnGo company had sent me. I had to fill out my passenger locator form again there and then. From the start. And you know it's about 5 pages of questions all of which you have to get right. But even before filling it in you have to confirm who you are by getting a code sent to your mobile.
I got to the stage of expecting a confirmatory number on my mobile and took the mobile out - no signal. Luckily there was no queue behind me, and the check in man was sympathetic. So using my laptop, he created his own UK PLC account, with his e-mail address and phone number, then got a confirmatory text with a code, and I filled in the form with my details on his UK PLC account. Needless to say this took some time.
At the end I put in the new purchase order (with no idea if this would work) and amazingly, it did. So I got a new passenger locator form - except that it went to Jonathan's e-mail so he had to e-mail it to me. At last I got it on my desktop. All this took well over 40 minutes and was only possible because he was being so nice and helpful and extraordinarily patient. Of course if you had a plane load of people with this problem that's 4000 minutes or 67 hours just for check in.
So you can see why I not impressed with TestnGo and they have not even had the courtesy to reply to my request for a refund.

Product arrived on time

Product arrived on time. Was exactly what was described - or maybe even slightly better quality than I expected.
However, I think "Expert Verdict" is a rather odd name for a supplier. I almost didn't order from them because of this. Sounds like some sort of opinion polling organisation.
