Excellent all around

I first reached out to Toolkit over three years ago, shortly after founding my company, with the intention of having them design our website. Like many new businesses, the early stages were full of challenges, and with the constant stream of work coming through the door, the website naturally took a back seat.

Over time, I was only able to drip-feed information to the Toolkit team, never quite managing to provide a complete brief. Despite this, they remained patient and professional throughout. It wasn’t until recently that I finally pulled everything together and gave them what they needed to complete the design.

Emily has been instrumental in this journey—her encouragement, positivity, and unwavering professionalism kept me motivated when it would have been easier to let the website slide further. As a perfectionist, I’m very particular about detail and quality, and Emily ensured that every element met the highest standard, right up to the final touches.

The website itself features some sophisticated design elements that needed to work seamlessly across different screen sizes. Taylor and the development team have done an outstanding job bringing those ideas to life. The end result is something we’re incredibly proud of—and it stands as the largest investment we’ve made in our business to date.

I’m truly grateful to the entire Toolkit team. Their dedication, care, and craftsmanship have exceeded my expectations. Words can’t express how thankful I am.

Awful experience... STAY AWAY!!!

What should have been an easy and straight forward case, this has turned into a nightmare due to the negligence of Ackroyd Legal team. I have completed the sale of a small garage with a land on the 24/04/2024 and till now, December 2024, I don't have a title on my name.
Land registry had requested further input or clarification but it was never answered by Ackroyd, even additional attempts from Land Registry were ignored unfortunately.
I am now trying to sell this piece of land and only to find out that the title register is still not on my name. I am trying to find out what the problem is and if it can be rectified. I am having to call Land Registry several times to expedite and resolve the issue.
Ackroyd are not even acknowledging my official letter of complaint.
It has been and still is such a pain to deal with and it is costing me quite considerably.
Their service is poor and their knowledge in the field is daft.
I would never come back and I would never recommend to those I care for.
Stay AWAY!!!

Very disappointing and costly experince - Stay away.

Avoid like the PLAGUE!

I have 4 accounts with company for many years.
I also have a business account, which I have been trying to cancel since Nov 2023, the end of the contract. They suggested that I need to pay for another 3 months, which is unfair as I had asked from the outset that my contract should terminate on the last day of the contract. I had to call to find out. The last payment to come out should have been in February 2024, now is May and payments are still coming out of the account. I called to ask why, they are telling me that you requested for porting a number after the request to cancel in Nov 2023, therefore the cancellation request was voided. Meanwhile the number porting process happened within the 3 month additional period which I was paying for. No one from Virgin Media made me aware of the voided cancelation, so now they are telling that I need to request another cancellation and wanting to change me for another 3 months sating from May. Meanwhile I am not using their services since Nov 2023, if this isn't stealing than I don't know what to call this.
Bottom line, as of today I am cancelling 5 accounts with this disgusting company.
Very bad service and costumer care.

Wasted my time!

Wasted my time!
Went in for an enquiry and just wasted my time. I made it quite clear from the outset that if I wouldnt act quickly on the AIP I would loose out on the property. No follow ups no updates, I had to chase constantly. Good thing this happened upfront rather than further down the line. Very disappointing.

A nightmare to deal with - STAY AWAY!

It all started as if it was going to be a great service. It turned ugly as soon as the down deposit was paid out. Charlie is a liar and a manipulator and worst of all a thief. I caught him stealing from our house and he was denying of doing it until I showed him the CCTV camera that had him recorded.
He did such an unprofessional job and left us with a heating system that doesn't work. Pipework is such a mess with the wrong size pipes which change from copper to plastic several times within the same run.
He was constantly wanting money and that was all he cared about, as soon as he took the money he would disappear. He never showed up on time as agreed or often not even show up the entire day.
In my entire life, I have never come across someone unprofessional and negative like Charlie, it was extremally stressful to deal with him. We have paid over £6K and are having to employ another boiler and gas company to come and sort out all the issues.
Even their address in Finchley Rd is fake just like the owners.

Total waste of time

Total waste of time. As an existing costumer I asked for my policy to be renewed. I was on the phone for over 90min talking through all the information which they already had. The guy on the phone was too slow and almost falling asleep as he was talking. In the end gave me the price and I accepted it, but then he turn around and said that this had to go to the underwriters for approval. He also advised that the underwriters will get in touch with me the next day, if they didn’t he would call me himself and finalise the process. It has been over 10 days and during this time I called and asked 3 times, and the answer I kept getting was that the case was still in the queue with the underwriters and they would call me the next day. That never happened... What a waste of my time. Plenty of home insurers out there, so not using homeprotect again.

Excellent experience all around!

I have bought a lovely property for my family through Sail Homes. From the first phone call until I was handed the keys, Jamie has gone above and beyond to make it all happen. Several times at different stages I was about to give up due to numerous issues, first the mortgage application and then the solicitors, but Jamie kept me going by being positive, dedicated, very professional and above all he always spoke the truth. Values which are very hard to find in any estate agent these days. The communication was excellent, from complex issues to silly question, I always received responses promptly sometimes even as late as midnight.
Jamie is very driven and most importantly a great guy. When I am ready to sell one of my properties, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Sail Homes.

Absolute nightmare mare to deal with…

Absolute nightmare mare to deal with their incompetent customer service team. Service is full of faults and no one cares to sort out your issues. I have spent for a week in a row at least 2 hrs a day trying to get my issues sorted and at the end I gave up and just cancelled the service. Just stay away from them.

Best human and professional combination

Honestly I don’t even know how to start this review, because I am not able to find the best words out there to describe my experience with HQ Mortgage & Finance. After a bitter experience with another firm, I decided to move on and find myself another MA. I approached a number of MAs amongst which was HQ M&F, and from that phone call I had with Trevor, I had a feeling this was going to be it. At that point in time I was under so much pressure from the vendor to move quickly and I explained that to Trevor, who passed that message to Phil. Phil then called me within hours and made sure to come and see me and my wife on a Saturday in person at our place. Meeting with Phil gave me that sense of trust and security, as he was so professional and yet such great human being. From there was taken over by Trevor who has done an incredible job, with me being not the easiest case out there. Trevor for me has been a mortgage advisor, therapist and sometimes like speaking to your old friend :). It took less than two weeks and I had an offer in my post box. Being a FTB and originally not from England, it is a scary experience going through this process. However with the help of Trevor and Phil I now have the chance to get the keys of my first home. I am so grateful for your service HQ Mortgage and Finance. I will surely return here again, but also I won’t hesitate to let the world know about your top service.
