Faulty goods

Steer clear! Ordered a heather mccoo clock 21st September 2024. Clock arrived ten days later. Clock is now not keeping time. Changed batteries still the same issue. Customer service is non existent. Two emails and numerous phone calls,over TWENTY attempts to contact via telephone, each time call ends! Eighty pounds for a clock that now less than three months old doesn’t work! I have contacted citizens advice bureau who have given some valuable advice and have also notified trading standards! I suggest anyone else experiencing similar issues do the same!

Excellent service

After a delivery of flowers that were of not great quality a second bouquet and a gift were sent as way of apology, I hasten to add a much more expensive bouquet than the original order. These arrived and unfortunately were also not great. I emailed to express my discontent of second bouquet. Never did I imagine that a third bouquet and another gift would be sent. These arrived today and are absolutely beautiful. Customer service were outstanding in dealing with my complaint and went above and beyond to rectify this. Very happy with the service received.

Shocking!

My partner sustained a nasty injury to his finger in Morrisons Weston super mare, thus resulting in a very expensive coat having blood on it. The injury happened from a sharp piece of metal on a fridge. Store manager was rude and uncooperative. I rang customer service the same day and initially was dealt with by a nice chap named Wesley who requested I send relevant pictures of coat, injury etc, I done this. I rang a few days later for an update. Was informed all pictures except ones of said injury had been received and to resend the other pictures, I done this whilst on the phone to representative. Unfortunately whilst on phone there was a powecut in our area. Once power resumed I immediately called back and was told said representative would rin* me back. Three days on and still no call back. Rang this morning and I can not believe the response from customer service! I have been informed that and I quote “as a goodwill gesture” they can offer me a £20 credit on my more card! I am beyond insulted! My partners coat cost £450, this now has a blood stain, he sustained a very nasty deep laceration to his finger as well, and all we have been offered is a £20 goodwill gesture to spend in store! I sincerely hope by posting this review it will spark someone to contact us urgently with a better response to the one I have just received!

Abhorrent company! Zero customer service.

Two cancelled deliveries! First delivery received a text to say would be delivered the following morning, no call to say delivery had been cancelled. Instead they said item had been returned! How can I return something I haven’t even received! Call back yesterday regarding said issues and delivery rebooked for Thursday…….now this morning been informed can’t deliver Thursday now, and I quote in their words earliest delivery is Friday, if not suitable they’ll just refund the order! This is absolutely shocking! You can do it when you B&Q it……would be able to do it if they actually delivered my order!

ZERO STARS

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a cooker two weeks ago, delivery was originally for today. After placing order received an email to contact as issue with order. My delivery date had to be changed to the 23rd. Received an email this afternoon to say yet another issue and delivery now won’t be until 16th November! I disposed of my old cooker this morning! Contact customer service explained the situation they have refused to allow me a free upgrade! I now have to wait for a manager to call me back, which I fully expect won’t happen! I have over the years spent in excess of eight thousand pounds with this company and they won’t even honour a free upgrade caused by their own doing! Please explain how I am supposed to cook from now until the 16th November, that’s four weeks!

Steer clear

Absolutely shocking service! If I could leave zero stars I would! Placed order online on 31st may, due for delivery on or before the 6th June. Checking my tracking info and says we’re expecting your parcel. Rang today, 5th June to enquire as to why courier has not received my parcel yet, to be informed it’s been lost in transit, how can a parcel that the courier hadn’t yet received be lost in transit? Then told I would be refunded my purchase amount, asked why said order couldn’t be replaced and resent, told no that can’t be done! Three times I’ve used matalan for home delivery and EVERY time there has been an issue! Never will I use this service again!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service! Still stuck with a bed that is not fit for purpose due to the gas lifts being broken. Was promised a call back within 48 hours on Thursday, no surprise when this didn’t happen. Called again today to be informed that apparently the resolution team called and left a voicemail asking for video of said issue. LIES LIES. LIES! No call ever received nor was there any voicemail, surprisingly when I questioned what number was called the customer service agent didn’t know hhhmmmm! Even worse when I called her out on the abhorrent lies she hung up! I have recorded the conversation last and today, I hasten to add the customer service agent asked for a video of the pistons failing, how in earth I’m expected to video a Superking gas lift ottoman failing is beyond me, I have two arms, I am not an octopus! If I tried to lift the ottoman part and video it I’d be in for a pretty big bump on the head! I am absolutely astounded at the level of deceit this company and its agents stoop too. I have now contacted the furniture ombudsman regarding this!

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Purchased a leather sofa and a super king ottoman bed frame. Where do I start! Sofa seating leather has wrinkled and seating area is sagging, arm RESTS are also sagging and wrinkled. “Independent furniture specialist” arrived to inspect sent by furniture village and apparently this is called puddling! As this was brought to their attention within the first week of sofa arriving I asked for a replacement. Surprise surprise they refused! How come the sofa we viewed in store doesn’t look like it? Now to the bed. Gas lift has failed in the bed frame thus rendering it unusable. Still waiting for a call from home serve to arrange for this to be repaired. My mum in SCOTLAND has mysteriously received the replacement parts! I can only assume this is because her address is the billing address BUT NOT the delivery address! After numerous calls and waiting in a queue of at least 30 other callers we are still no further forward. We are now left with a sofa that is two months old and looks ten years old and a bed that is broken, bed is also only two months old! Customer service are rude and extremely unhelpful and one call handler even had the audacity to laugh at me. Kept saying he didn’t know about this didn’t know about that, it would appear he doesn’t know very much! I can’t wait to hear what excuses they come up with now! Avoid these charlatans at all costs, take your money then fob you off when you have any sort of issues with purchases.
Edit ***** after a lengthy call yesterday with adila and being informed I would receive a call back from resolution team by end of day, no call back received! Though today someone did call, not the landline as instructed to yesterday but instead on my mobile, hubby passed me the phone and no one there! Still left with a broken bed and a rubbish sofa!

Absolutely disgusted

Absolutely disgusted. I have the onePWR hard floor cleaner, that was not cheap by any means. The filter needs replacing as when it is on the machine doesn’t suck up the water. I’ve now been waiting over 2 months for said replacement filter to come back in stock. I have spoken with a vax number of vax customer service reps and so far have been given FIVE yes you read that correctly FIVE different dates for these to be back in stock. So, I now have a vax cleaner that is nothing more than a expensive ornament sat in a corner! Steer clear as when you need replacement parts you can’t get them! I hasten to add my cleaner isnt even 12 months old!
UPDATE
After leaving this review and receiving a response via here from nick, a customer service representative my issue has now been resolved. Nick has arranged a complete replacement for my machine as said part needed is still out of stock. So after leaving a review here an issue that has been ongoing now for months has been quickly and adequately resolved. Thankyou to nick for his attention and resolution to my issue, fantastic job!

Disgraceful company

Would leave zero stars if I Could! Absolutely disgusting company with zero customer service. Sofas are of substandard quality. Leather peeling off and told by Carl a service manager it’s down to the oils in my dogs skin and fur! Funny that as the dogs aren’t allowed on the sofas! Then says it the natural oils in my skin. All this from someone who has zero recognised qualifications in upholstery. Due to a very expensive marine aquarium in my sitting room the “repair” outdoor not be done insitue. Told DFS this was due to the chemicals they would be using. After months I’m still waiting on the store manager to ring me with a resolution. These sofas were less than a year old and was told by said service manager that any “repair” is merely a good will gesture! I’m now left with 2 sofas that look awful and no resolution. I hasten to add that my previous sofas were DFS leather sofas and I had no issues with them whatsoever. Wish I had kept them and not bothered with replacing them.

Fantastic service.
Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Quick delivery. Owning two Saint Bernards as you can imagine we go through a huge amount of food every month. When purchasing I realised that zoopus do a 15kg bag with 3kg free which meant 18kg for price of 15kg absolute bonus. Will definitely be purchasing our food from here all the time now. So good to have a reliable online seller who sent our purchase out speedily and absolutely loved that we had the option to choose which courier we wanted to deliver our items, and FREE delivery another bonus! Highly recommend this company.

Drivers need to listen

Would of been a 5 but driver couldn’t grasp that we were due 3 packages 2 from the same company 1 from another company. Kept saying tomorrow by 12, drivers English was poor hence why he was struggling to understand what we were saying. After he goes back to his van he came back looking really confused with the other item.

Shocking service

Shocking service. Parcel collected 30th may, arrived at local depot 1st June. No other info available. Don’t even try to call as number rings out once then line goes dead. Contact customer service email does not work! Then have to go through a digital bot called “holly” who provides the same info I already have! No idea when parcel is going to arrive and absolutely no way of actually speaking to anyone to find out!

shocking service.

Have been waiting over a week now for a parcel that was sent by first class tracked signed for, next working day delivery! Trying to actually speak with someone is pointless, was told that a next working day service can take 14 days! Courier pigeon could deliver quicker! Royal Mail, I think not. Royal fail more like! Royal Mail you should not be charging for a service which you absolutely can not fulfill. Representative said there are delays to all services! Please explain why my normal post is arriving within 3 days of posting but not my parcel!
