Misrepresentation and msadverstisement - their shipping calculator tells me it will cost $12 and then they charge $63 to my PayPal account. Please complain to PayPal as well as these guys should not be allowed to operate.

I have been with SR for many years. But when I came to change my vehicle, they said it was older so a higher risk category. But the premium they asked me to pay was effectively the cost of a new policy, with no credit for my having already paid for a full year's policy. Hours on the phone and no one can explain on what basis they want to charge me like this.

You describe the phone as broken. They tell you they will pay you X and then when you send in the phone, they offer you something much lower.
UPDATE: Spoke to Company who agreed to return me my phone at their expense. So at least they behaved well here.

My son bought an item but it was the wrong thing. He returned the next day with the item unopened but they refused to refund him. They insisted he needed a receipt but they had failed to put it with the item when bagging it, and he showed them proof of purchase on his bank statement. Four phone calls and numerous chats and still nothing.

UPDATED: I bought a shower valve and it was installed a year ago. The part worked for a bit and then became defective, I have been trying to get this sorted out with a replacement and repair but Victorian Plumbing are impossible to get hold of. After no reply for 9 days, they send me a pay-per-minute number for the manufacturer's agent and pass the buck. UNACCEPTABLE

Review of Marshmallow
My car was involved in an accident on Saturday. Eventually, after several hours on the phone with marshmallow's agent, the car was picked up and taken to a garage for assessment. Today - Monday - after no contact from garage or marshmallow, we called and finally got through to someone who tells us they have no record of any claim/ incident on the marshmallow system and have no idea where our car is. And there is no one we can call to find out anything else.

UPDATE2: Marshmallow have been in touch but four days after the accident I still have no idea when my car will be repaired or when I will get a courtesy car.
UPDATE: signing up is easy and appealing. You don’t realise you can never call these people or speak to anyone if you need to claim and that if you do, they don’t know anything about your file.
So far so good. Signing up has been very easy and straightforward. Hopefully won’t have to go through a claim experience but will update if I do.

Problems with product and customer service
I decided to order this for our three cats, but none of them would touch a morsel of it. Tried mixing it in to regular food, frying it, etc. but no matter how hungry, they wouldn't come near. I asked for a refund and am still waiting over a week later for a reply.

Review of Shadestation
I sent my prescription and PD but wasn’t asked for PD per eye. Glasses didn’t feel right. I went and had PD professionally measured and It was correct but slightly asymmetrical. Shade asked me to pay for brand new lenses, which is not really fair as they should ask for PD per eye to start with. Would not have happened if I had gone to a local specsavers.
Reply to Shade comment below: I did in fact return the glasses to you for assessment. I was told you would not correct the problem without my paying for new lenses. I did not even know that a PD could be asymmetrical and only found out after I received the faulty lenses. Had I gone to a bricks and mortar optician they would have measured it for me directly.

Review of VOXI Mobile
In general Voxi is good value for money. Not always easy to get hold of them when there is a problem but can't have everything.
But there should be a facility for parents to open accounts for their children.i.e. a family account type approach. As it stands, each account has to be opened by the individual concerned, which is not great.
Also, would like to have a child account that allows more parental controls and protections to stop children using internet late at night/ too much gaming etc. I would pay a bit extra for that.
Review of Braun-Clocks - UK
Clock was meant to be silent but started ticking loudly mo this after purchase. Tried to claim under warranty but website faulty and email bounces back.
UPDATE: Issue finally resolved after phone calls from Braun. It seems their entire email and web server went down. A replacement is now due in the post. Bhavin from Braun was very helpful.

Sent the wrong part and couldn't reach them as they didn't pick up the phone. Eventually had an apologetic phone call to explain the particular issues they were having, and took care of the issue quickly and efficiently.
