Why People Buy On-Line

Unavailability of assistants. We were welcomed but from there it took us a long time to find a free assistant to help us. There were too few for such a big store. Perhaps unusually we were determined to take home a undercounter integrated freezer the same day, and this was the second Curry's we had visited. We saw about 5 units of different prices. We were interested in only 3 of them. It transpired that only one was in stock and we bought this freezer.

Same as Everyone Else No lenses no contact

Ordered on 16th September 2022 and no lenses received to-date (not the first time I've had delays but the first time I haven't had anything back at all from Pure Optical. ) Very disappointed - have recommended them up to now. Will change suppliers as can't see a reason for taking down the Telephone Contact Number and then not answering emails or website messages. I've sent quite a number of messages asking for explanation of what's happening over the past week -No response. Refund please Pure Optical. Phil Scott SE6

Pure Optical Really Care!

I have always found Pure Optical's service reasonably priced and very efficient. But, I have, on two occasions recently, had problems not with Pure Optical but with the suppliers. It is only when things do not go as planned that you really find out what your supplier is worth! In both cases, Pure Optical have been amazing, not only keeping me fully informed but also sending out my lenses as a real priority (at their own extra cost) once received. The interflora service was good as…

The interflora service was good as usual but I was highly disappointed with the flowers received. The occasion was 'just because" and I had asked for flowers coloured like the website illustration. These where whites and purples with some lovely contrasts.

The flowers received were only in white and cream and frankly looked as if they were prepared from flowers selected for a funeral bouquet. A couple were drooping and some smaller daisies were wilted.

We have your deposit - let's stop talking to you!

We have booked a cruise with a balcony cabin for Oct and have just found out that we have been put in a restricted view cabin which is totally unacceptable and not what we asked for...full payment due very shortly...ok but we have sent multiple emails, website messages and spent 45 mins queuing on the phone only to be cut off when we got to no 1 in the queue. Have we received any answer to our problem -no. We have even spoken to the cruise line itself and found a solution but it can't be implemented without Iglu Cruises and probably won't be available when and if they call back...
Would never use Iglu again

Even more relieved HSBC turned down my application

I posted a review a few weeks or more ago under a heading like "Relieved HSBC turned down my application" saying how bad HSBC customer service was and how they left me hanging waiting for my advance account application approval long past the supposed change over date. Then didn't call me back as I requested after I spent ages on the phone to their customer service. They then sent me a letter later still rejecting my application. I thought I was finished with HSBC but they contacted me and offered to look into things for me. I said that they could if they liked but I wouldn't change to them after such bad service under any circumstances. I have now received a letter from them(not speedily) basically saying you didn't meet our criteria, we're sorry we didn't review in a timely manner contact the Ombudsman if you like....Thanks HSBC ....I didn't want anything anyway from you after your previous dismal performance and I'm still relieved you turned down my application, even more so in fact. Please don't waste any more of my time..

RELIEVED NOT TO BE ACCEPTED FOR AN HSBC ADVANCED ACCOUNT AFTER SUCH POOR SERVICE.

I applied to transfer my joint account from my high street bank to an HSBC Advance Account.

I applied on 6th January and I suggest a transfer date of 20th January 2020. With my salary, much higher existing overdraw facility with my present bank and no remaining mortgage on my house I assumed this would go smoothly.

I heard nothing.

On the 21st January I tried to call HSBC to see what was happening because transferring a current account is stressful, wondering if a payment will be missed and when it was going to happen clearly not the 20th.

Eventually I got through, was put on hold and after 20 plus minutes on the phone was told my application was still being "reviewed". I asked to be called by the relevant department as my preferred date was now past. Today 25th I am advised by post that my application is declined. Frankly I am delighted as the abysmal service made me wonder how I could withdraw my request. I am considering cancelling my HSBC credit card and cutting all ties with such a poor service company.
