Octopus PV Installation

Sadly disappointed with our Octopus PV journey. The installation was poorly planned. Scaffolding commenced Monday for the panel install to begin Wednesday. It didn't! Scaffolding did not conclude until Thursday PM. Octopus also blocked my neighbours Satellite dish for the duration, eliminating their Sky services. We complained to Octopus, felt obliged to make good with our neighbours and bought them flowers and chocolates by way of apology. The local installers offered apologies for the disruption, but Octopus itself did nothing!
We complained frequently to Octopus about it trashing our garden with its scaffold boards, demolishing bedding plants and crushing flower beds. Octopus did nothing!
After the scaffold was struck and removed, the debris that fell from it was left littering our garden. I had to clear it up. Octopus showed nothing but feigned acquiescence to my complaints, about their duty of care. but did nothing!
We financed the array through Octopus for a contracted price at 0% interest, but when repayments started, discovered that Octopus had added an additional £2600+ to the repayment arrangement! This caused enormous worry and distress, left us perilously close to being overdrawn and resulted in our worrying as to whether we'd made the right decision.

Now the installation is behind us, the system is up and running and the finance dispute resolved, we are happy with the result. We will be self sufficient in electricity and a net exporter. The destination is good, the journey was unnecessarily disruptive and the indifference of Octopus, through it's lack of action and compassion, was surprising. I was always a huge fan of Octopus and in particular, Greg Jackson, it's CEO, but having experienced the absence of material customer service when things continually went wrong, I now find myself, reluctantly disappointed in the company.

Appalling website feedback and purchase process. Purchase confirmed with order number but nothing received. 'Delivery Info: 1 day delay standard' What does that mean? No ability to chase up or confirm order. No contact number. Terrible experience

A Premier League Company in Garden Rooms

From concept to completion the whole garden room acquisition process was an extremely well managed and inclusive process. The company took time to consider our needs and explained all options with suggestions that perfectly met our expectations. The room is a delightful space in which to be, and we will enjoy it for years to come.
Kubes provide a one-stop-shop with all construction, glazing, electrical, flooring and decoration works following each other. Attention to detail was striking and the building is superbly well constructed. It looks beautiful and is a fantastic enhancement to our property.

Devious Chip

Very disappointed in Chip. There is no facility to view one's account number which makes transferring out to another provider, impossible. I'm surprised this isn't a trending issue. I suspect it's a sneaky way to retain customers and grow market share.

Mira Showers, a Substandard Company

New house shower not working effectively, will not maintain a constant temperature. Engineer visited and explained this was NORMAL. It's a fundamental fault with the product and there is no fix! However, as the temperature constantly fluctuates within the set parameters, limits established by Mira, they wash their hands of the problem. Nothing can be done. We just have to suck it up!! If you want a constant temperature without the shock of cold water pulsing through, DO NOT BUY A MIRA SHOWER!!

Grotesque Shop Assistant at Handforth Dean

We tried to make a purchase at Handforth Dean store but were met by the most objectionable store assistant you can imagine. She did not want our custom and made no attempt to disguise that fact. Unhelpful, obstructive and thoroughly unpleasant she was continually throwing up obstacles, did not want to go through the interest free credit process and maintained a confrontational attitude throughout our exchanges. She worked tirelessly to alienate us and suceeded. We left without making a purchase. I'm certain she does this to all customers! We instead went to Next at Stoke on Trent and couldn't have had a more polarising experience. All the staff were lovely, helpful and engaging and we made our purchases with them.
Having been exposed to the 'horror show' at Handforth Dean, we will never set foot in that store again!

Wowcher - No Integrity

Wowcher facilitated the provision of a software licence for Office 2019 that Microsoft advised was either stolen or fraudulently obtained. Wowcher abdicated any responsibility for 'fencing' and referred me to the seller, who's email address they provided does not function.
This company has no shame and no concern for their customers losses.

NB: The response from Wowcher tells you everything you need to know about the organisation!

Awful

Awful, total waste of money. Don't bother! My car was damaged and repaired through insurance. I know because it was me. Not reported by this search though. I wanted to know its history before I bought it as I suspected a previous accident. As mine was not recorded I cannot trust the result of this enquiry. Complete waste of money and time. Just a con. They don't know anymore than you do!

A COWBOY OUTFIT

If you have a damage claim, Kia advise you go to them for repair rather than your own insure's repairer. DON'T!
These clowns sent me to D Walton in Manchester who were wholly incapable of satisfactorily repairing my car. Apparantly for a small dent, it needed a new passenger door. After 4 weeks and 5 days the car was returned in an appaling condition. The repair was shabby, paintwork blistered in an 'orange peel' texture, door hung badly and damaged trim re-attached to the vehicle instaed of being replaced. The vehicle had received no competent quality check and was returned covered in cutting paste! Kia take no responsibility for this and are an absolute disgrace. I am going to sell the vehicle and purchase from a quality manufacturer. NEVER BUY A KIA!!
