Unfortunately there is no way of choosing which delivery company an organisation uses. I received an email saying my parcel had been delivered. It had not - and at the time claimed I was sitting in front of the window which the driver would have had to walk past. No phone calls being accepted by Hermes and no customer service email. Poor. Filled in a form and hope..... Special present too.
This not just about non delivery but the complete lack of customer service

The product was good value and easy to put together. Only issue was with delivery and DPD who are normally the best. Despite requesting delivery to a safe place it was left outside In the rain. Box was wet but the products inside were fine. Would definitely use again though and have recommended.

Used the 'free service" in the USA. Brilliant as had s medical emergency which needed a phone call back to the UK. Plus our GPS with the rental car was poor so was able yo use Google maps instead

Bought a wooden wobble board. The hemisphere is relatively small meaning that the board is more unstable than one with a larger 'bobble'. Not great for initial rehab and no mention of this in the product description.

As for others I bought 2 pairs of distance glasses for £15 through MSE. Website is easy to navigate -one frame was out of stock but easy to go back and find another frame. Delivery was less than a week, quality is good - just as good as my other more expensive pairs. In addition to your prescription you do need to know the distance between your pupils.

I booked collection of two items a bookcase and a drop leaf table offering to send photos of the items - an offer that was declined. Two men came and gave the items a thorough look over and rejected the table (solid wood) as part of it was faded. It must be bhf's choice but I did have a problem with the attitude that was quite dismissive and felt like they were doing me a favour. It was in far better condition than items in the Eastbourne shop with chipped veneer. I am pleased to have helped bhf but the attitude of your staff needs looking at.

Thank you for your feedback. We do understand how disappointing it is when an item you are offering as a donation is declined. While the van drivers collecting on behalf of BHF are not employees of BHF they are representing the charity and we would expect them to handle their communications with our donors in a professional and empathic manner at all times. Without having had sight of the item itself we can't comment further on the decline but we hope that you were notified by the store at the time of booking the collection that we cannot confirm that we will be able to accept an item until we have seen it. The reason that we unfortunately have to decline items if we have doubts as to whether they would sell is that the charity incurs a disposal charge for the subsequent disposal of items that we have not been able to sell in our stores. We hope that this will not put you off donating to BHF in future. Thank you very much for your support and for taking the time to post your review.
