Spoke to two different members off staff over the past week and they were so helpful and friendly. The huge wait times aren’t great but we’re in a pandemic so they’re understandable. And the service I received when we got through was excellent.

Great price on the flight but an awful lot of up selling to navigate through, and much of it seemed completely unnecessary to me (there’s laws in place to protect against delays and cancellations, and why would I pay for a text message). It’s a shame as it would make me think twice about using them again.

Once again a great experience dealing with the golf travel people. They just make everything so easy when it comes to arranging golf trips.

I have used Hoppa for years and have always been really impressed but sadly we were badly let down in Portugal and I doubt I will ever use them again.

Before booking I advised the amount of luggage we had and that there would be 2 drop offs and asked what additional costs I would be required to pay. I chased them for a long time to get confirmation this was okay and eventually, just a couple of days before our trip they told me I hadn't paid the extra fee (which they hadn’t told me about, nor had they sent a payment link). I then needed to chase them more than once to get a link to pay the fee.

Then, when we arrived at Faro they had out locations recorded wrongly (completely different towns to those on my confirmation) and had sent a vehicle too small for us even though I had advised and paid for the correct number of people and the additional luggage. The lady at the airport was quite abrupt and we had to wait another 30 minutes for a suitable taxi.

When I complained they offered me a token amount back from the fee we had paid which was acceptable. However, almost 2 months after this offer was made and after numerous emails I have never received the money which has just added insult to injury and despite asking they have never sent me their complaints or escalation process.

I really don't know how the company has gone so downhill in such a short period of time, but it is definitely not the service we used to get from Hoppa.

This isn’t my first purchase from AO and I’m as impressed with them when I first used them. The service I’ve received has been excellent and I’m delighted with my new fridge freezer. The delivery company they used were also excellent.

Once again excellent service, it is do much nicer dealing with real people rather than an app. I always feel like a valued client as nothing is ever too much trouble. They have service delivery down to a tee.

We've been using Golf de la Luz for about 5 years now and the service is always excellent. I usually just tell them when we are in Portugal and what courses we would like to play and they make it all happen, at a very competitive price. Excellent service. The drivers were all smart, polite and most importantly on time. We had a very early flight with multiple pick ups so I was a bit concerned as this was the first time we'd used Airport Taxi Transfers but it all went very well. We've used Hoppa in the past but their prices were extortionate this year which was why we looked elsewhere and I think now it's safe to say we'll not be going back to Hoppa when we're next flying in to Faro.

This is the fourth year we have used Golf de la Luz to organise golf in Portugal, there are often complications from our end and they deal with them in their stride. I would never go anywhere else, they make it all so simple. Thanks
