WE SIGNED WITH BT AFTER VIRGIN’S BILLS BECAME A BIT HIGH FOR BASIC BROADBAND AND PHONE, SO EQUAL SERVICE AND BILL WOULD HAVE BEEN OK TO ENSURE COMPETITION REMAINS HEALTHY. WITHIN MONTHS IT BECAME CLEAR THAT BT CANNOT ACHIEVE ACCEPTABLE STANDARDS: SIGNAL INTERRUPTIONS EVERY FEW MINUTES, THE INTERNET SEEMS TO NEED HALF A MINUTE OR SO TO GET GOING WHEN REQUESTING A GOOGLE SEARCH, AND THE BILLS WERE WORSE THAN VIRGIN. WEEKLY PHONE CALLS, COMPLAINTS, BROADBAND CHECKS WITH INDIA AND EVEN THE DEADLOCK PROCEDURE DOESN’T HELP WHEN BT IS HIDING BEHIND THE SMALL PRINT. NEVER MADE A PERSONAL VISIT TO FIND OUT WHAT OUR REALITY LOOKED LIKE. EASILY THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
