Have been a loyal customer for 30 plus years, my mum before me too, and am so disappointed in this company that I will never be ordering from them again. Ordered several items as a very rare treat just before Xmas and needed to return them, but unfortunately my printer is broken so I couldn't print returns label, and I can't afford a smartphone so couldn't access the QR code. I phoned customer services and was told that even though I was quite happy to pay special delivery charge to return the items myself, that this was impossible. I was spoken to in a very patronising way as if I was an idiot because I'm unlucky enough to be elderly and disabled and can't afford a smartphone. I am now stuck with items I don't want. Have emailed the company to escalate the case but so far haven't heard from them. I suppose unless you're rich, you don't matter. The way I was spoken to when I phoned was disgraceful, haven't they heard the phrase *the customer is always right? I can't express how angry and disappointed I feel. It seems crazy to me that just because I am in this position, I am stuck with unwanted faulty goods. Never, ever again.
