Recommended but don't book online
As always, I was quite happy with the level of service by staff. I was kept informed of progress on work, and informed about additional issues arising. One of the things I like about Halfords Autocentres is knowing in advance what the cost, for example, of servicing, MOT, tyre and battery fitting will be.
What I was not happy with on this occasion was the online booking system. I booked a service and MOT, only to find on arrival that one had been scheduled for 9.20am, the other mid afternoon. I had planned my day based on the car being in the garage for half a day, but it ended up being there from 8.30am to after 5.00pm.In future I will book direct with the branch.
