I invested with these guys twice and heard feedbacks from others who have invested with them even more.
They make it very easy to invest but Crowdcube in general is quite a scam. When profits ARE made they don’t seem to make it out our way.
These guys are worth an investigation/ documentary.

Terrible.
3 weeks after the delivery date I received an email saying that the flowers could not be delivered because Interflora no longer has a local florist to rely on.
The flowers were meant for a funeral (international delivery)

It’s fundamentally a good service, hassle free. My concern is the time it takes to receive the medication. In my case, the lead time seems to be about 10 days which, comparing with the NHS app & the prescription sent to my local chemist, it’s long. Nevertheless, if you are organised enough and don’t leave things to the last minute, it works.

Ridiculous returns. I thought CrowdCube was a smart and dynamic way to invest in companies I liked. Following my investment in 2016 (1K over 2 thriving companies) there have been very little updates. 7 years down the line & I have just received a £43 ‘payout’ from the first company (which in the meantime has been sold) and nothing from the second. What a joke. Don’t waste your money!

I can’t believe I fell for it… I saw the nice graphics on Instagram & the great promises. I bought the ‘complete gut repair’. It’s not a cheap product.
I’ve tried it for a month. You’ll get about 30% of the promised results.
You’d be better off squeezing lemon in a glass of water and drink it in the morning. You’d get better results!

My second experience with House of Harlot was not as good as my first. On Feb/16 last year, I ordered a jacket for my boyfriend's birthday with plenty of notice (more than 2 months). I was given a lead time of 4-6 weeks, which sounded perfect and left space for a potential delay as well. Not only the jacket did not arrive within the lead time given by the company, but it also missed my boyfriend's birthday by far. House of Harlot stopped answering my emails asking for updates. The jacket eventually arrived but well after my boyfriend's birthday. By then I was near asking for a refund through my credit card. A real shame.

Very impressed with this company. I've ordered from them a few times now and their service is spotless.

I only had to give them the auction house lot number and auction date. No photos, or anything. They sent me a quote, which I paid and voila'! We agreed a date/time and I received my items in no time. They have their own vans/drivers and therefore they do not ship through third party couriers. The delivery guys were polite and careful with the items delivered. Top marks.

I have ordered with Forgotten Tribes twice now and found it really switched on as a company. I returned a few items and kept some others. The customer service has been sharp. Quick answers and refunds. As per the garments I kept, I find them really comfortable and well made. They reflect the urban style advertised in the photos to perfection.

Great service. We booked an appointment and we got a slot to try several pieces over 2 hours with no rush. They were truly helpul and patient. I ordered a corset which arrived before expectations. It's a truly couture piece.

Dress arrived stained at the back in several places.. However, I've received *excellent* customer service from Claire who promptly offered a 25% refund.

Sono fortemente d'accordo con le recenti recensioni di Enrico Maltese e Valerio Rodelli. Stessa esperienza. Macigno e' solo un broker e non prende nessuna responsabilita' per il servizio, dopo che chiede il pagamento in anticipo. Richiesto trasporto da secondo piano a primo piano, fornendo tutte le misure e pesi dei colli + foto. Molto chiaro. Pagato in anticipo. Il trasportatore e' finito ad essere di Mail Box etc, che non era neanche quello del preventivo pagato (ovvero Traslochi e Pianoforti). Non mi ha contattato per una settimana. Dopo mio sollecito, non sembrava neanche aver letto la mia richiesta. Ha posto altri parametri. Ho cercato di raggiungere Macigno, ma una volta pagato hanno smesso di rispondere a telefonate, email e WhatsApp sms. Trasporto mai avvenuto. Sono adesso in disputa con la banca. Veramente un disastro. Salvatevi!!!

(I'm in total agreement with Enrico Maltese and Valerio Rodelli's recent reviews. Same experience. Macigno is only a broker, not a carrier. Once you have paid (in advance), they don't take any responsability whatsoever. I requested a transport from second floor to first floor, stating all the measurements and weights of the packages + photos. It was all very clear. Paid in advance. The actual carrier ended up being 'Mail Box etc', which wasn't even the one on the estimate I paid for (Translochi e Pianoforti). He didn't call me for a week and, once I urged him to, he didn't have any idea of my request or photos. He set totally different parameters. I tried to reach Macigno. However, with the invoice settled in advance, they stopped answering any emails, calls or WhatsApp texts. The relocation never happened. I've had to dispute the transaction with my bank. Really disastrous. Save yourselves!

Just discovered these guys through the saleroom. What an incredible service comparing with the other UK auction houses! Great items, nicely described online (with condition report as a default) and once you have won something, they automatically take the payment and ship the goods to you for free (and in no time)? Huzzar!

I've ordered 3 ivys about three weeks ago. They arrived fast and really well packaged. So, I have re-ordered since. Once again 6 ferns arrived in no time and professionally packaged. Healthy, strong plants. The delivery charges are a bit high but the service it worth it.

Excellent, straight forward service. Good products, well made and long lasting. Although they took a little longer than usual to give me refund, they sent an email to apologise in the meantime.

Ordered an Happy Potter scarf. Flash like delivery, website very easy to navigate.

Received the second order (That I could not cancel). Even worse than the first one. Plants barely alive. No reply to my previous complaint of a month ago. I have now logged disputes with the credit card companies I paid with. I don't understand how these guys can even stay in business.. I hope it's just the Covid effect. Anyway: NEVER AGAIN!!!

Typical! You see an ad with great pictures on Instagram, you order and nothing ever arrives. You contact them, they (eventually) reply, the parcel finally arrives from China and the quality is nothing near the photos. AVOID!
