Impeccable Service and Quality

I bought a three-bay shelving system from Racking Solutions. I ordered it last Friday. Within the hour, I'd received a notification from DPD that they had my order, which was delivered earlier than expected on Monday. After watching the instruction video on their website I set to work. All the parts were present, including the extras I'd ordered. I completed the entire installation in about ninety minutes. The first bay took the longest as I was still learning but, I built the third bay in around twenty minutes. I did the job single-handed. All the parts fitted together easily without any messing about. The racking is very stable, the MDF shelves fit perfectly and are good and thick, so they should stand the test of time. Overall, I'm very impressed with the service from Racking Solutions and the quality of their racking. Thank you.
***UPDATE 18/08/2025***
Since installing my original three-bay racking, I have bought and installed two more five-shelf bays. This racking system has transformed my garage which had become hopelessly cluttered. I now have a well organised workspace. Thanks very much :)

Impeccable Service.

Whats not to like about Camperite. They have a large range at very competitive prices. In fact the Dometic windbreak I've just bought was £50 cheaper than some places. I also received straightforward honest advice when I queried the difference in price between two identical items with different brand names, another £5 saved. Camperite are now my number one go-to store for my caravanning needs. Thank you.

Continued First Class Service

I had to contact EDF Customer Services today regarding an enquiry about a Feed In Tariff payment that appeared to be missing. I only had a short wait on the phone before speaking to an agent. I explained the situation, and it was quickly and efficiently resolved. Since recently changing to the new system, EDF have completely changed the format of the payment reference. On checking my bank account, the payment had indeed been made. I have been receiving my FIT payments from EDF since 2012, and aside from a single glitch back in October 2024 where I received a duplicate payment, the FIT reading submission and payment process has been simple. Thank you for your continued high-quality service.

Excellent Signs

I'd never bothered with one of those signs displayed to deter unwelcome cold callers, canvassers, et al until I saw someone turn tail when they saw the one my neighbour had displayed in their window. So I ordered two glow-in-the-dark Police & Trading Standards signs from SafetySigns4Less. They arrived quickly, they are great quality and excellent value for money. They took seconds to fix to the wall with adhesive and hopefully will do the job. Thank you.

Impeccable Service.

I ordered a set of mesh panels for my Dometic Residence caravan awning from Berger Camping. They were significantly cheaper than other suppliers. I placed my order on Thursday 10th April, and received several follow-up emails. Indeed, the Yodel tracking page didn't update until this morning, 17th April to say they were out for delivery, and a two-hour delivery slot was provided. Sure enough, my order arrived as promised. The panels were well protected in a sturdy cardboard box, ensuring they arrived in perfect condition. Thank you Berger Camping and Yodel, for making this a completely straightforward process from ordering to delivery. I will definitely be buying from Berger Camping again.

Impeccable Service.

I have been with Midland Bank/HSBC and now First Direct since 1976, which alone, speaks volumes. I recently contacted First Direct by phone to enquire about a bank transfer I was expecting for a high-value item I was selling. I just wanted to make sure that I was doing everything to ensure there we no hiccups in the transaction and that it was safe. The agent I spoke to was very patient and answered my many questions fully and to my complete satisfaction. Thank you.

Impeccable Service and Customer Focus.

I was looking for four white 50mm rubber blanking grommets to finish off a DIY project where readily available black grommets were unsuitable. I found several companies, including Reevite based in Bicester in Oxfordshire. Reevite are the UK's leading supplier of grommets, washers and plugs. Each company listed white grommets and all had a minimum order of 50. Nobody responded to my emails except Chris Webb from Reevite who replied the next day saying he would send me four samples by post. True to his word the grommets arrived the following day. The grommets are exactly what I need to finish the job and are of excellent quality. Thank you Chris and Reevite for your impeccable service and true customer focus.

Huge Range of Sofas Together With Fantastic Service.

My wife and I made an initial choice of the type of sofas we wanted from DFS online but we wanted to see them before buying. We visited the Hanley branch where we greeted warmly and then left alone to browse. We met Andy who answered our many questions. By the time we finally made our choice Andy was very busy with another customer but, we waited and he frequently checked that we were okay. There were other members of staff available but, we were happy to wait. When Andy became free he sat straight down with us and went through everything in a very friendly, thorough and professional manner. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed and I was more than happy to sign a deal for exactly the sofas we wanted. I would like to thank Andy in particular and all at DFS Hanley we met for making our new purchase a pleasurable experience.

Impeccable Service.

I broke one of the securing lugs on the flap which covers the twin SD card slots on my Nikon D780 DSLR. I immediately started to search online for a replacement and sent a request to Nikon Parts UK for a price and availability. I also phoned around dealers nationwide. There were plenty available from China on eBay and other places, with prices ranging from £34 upwards but, no way of telling if they were OE or pattern parts. The following day I received a quote to supply the parts from Nikon which came in at £21.94 including springs and P&P. Needless to say, I placed my order. A few days later I received an email notifying me that there was a delay for one of the springs. I emailed back to say I only really needed the cover and nothing else. The following day I received a call from a lady at Nikon who wanted to check that the springs weren't required and that there was no other damage to the camera body before the cover was shipped. That was yesterday and at 11:00am this morning UPS delivered the cover which I fitted within the hour and my camera is fully useable again. It just goes to show that you should check the manufacturer before deciding to purchase parts from other sources. I cannot fault any aspect of Nikon UK's service. Thank you very much indeed.

No Reason To Switch

I've been with Octopus Energy since November 2019 and have found absolutely no reason to leave. I used to switch suppliers every couple of years or so. I still check comparison sites to see if I can get a better deal overall but, have not yet found one that is tempting enough to make me switch. Furthermore, today I have renewed my contract with Octopus Energy again. Thank you very much Octopus Energy, especially in these uncertain times. Keep it up

Specialised Covers Tow Pro Infinity.

I had heard loads about Specialised Covers but, this is the first time I've dealt with them. I wanted a towing cover for my new caravan and found the Specialised Covers website very easy to navigate. The towing cover I ordered was the Tow Pro Infinity with added customisation. I quickly got an email thanking me for my order and what to expect next. I then received timely updates as my cover proceeded through the production process. The last email stated that it had reached the QA stage followed shortly by a dispatch notification. My cover arrived earlier than the anticipated three-week lead time. It was very well packaged and I have to say that I am mightily impressed with the quality compared to other covers I have bought in the past. I haven't tried it on my caravan yet but, I'm sure it will be perfect.

I recently upgraded my broadband to full-fibre. Openreach soon after contacted me to confirm the order and the date of installation. I received several more texts informing me of what to expect on the day and how to prepare for the installation. On the morning of the installation, I received another text from an Openreach sub-contractor called MJ Quinn who was doing the work. The engineer, Martin arrived on time and we went through the options for the installation in great detail. Martin was very polite, and knowledgeable. He patiently answered my questions regarding the routing of the new cable and other options. Martin was also happy to allow me to watch the more technical aspects of the installation and explained how the equipment he was using worked. The installation was done with great care and consideration of my wishes. It's very neat and done to my complete satisfaction and, to my Wife's. My new full fibre works perfectly. Thank you Martin from MJ Quinn for a completely hassle-free experience.

Fantastic Spice Blends, Delivery Could Be Better Though.

As a keen curry cook, I am an avid fan of Al's Kitchen series on YouTube. When Al launched his own selection of spice blends available from Spicy Joes I decided I must give them a try. So, I went ahead and placed an order for Al's 30-Minute Jalfrezi, Bhuna Blend, Birmingham Balti Blend, Garlic Chilli Chicken and Kitchen Spice Blend. I have to say that the order did take much longer to arrive than expected but, it was well worth the wait. I think Spicy Joes may have become a victim of its own success and has been overwhelmed by the demand for its products, especially the Al's Kitchen range. I do wonder too if Evri is the best choice of courier to handle their deliveries. But, again the spice blends are excellent quality and value for money. I will definitely be buying from Spicy Joes in future. Thank you.

I wanted two 12w iPad chargers. CeX had stock in used condition at a super price. I placed my order, I got regular updates and they arrived a couple of days later, very well packed in a cardboard box. The chargers don't look as if they've been used much and work perfectly. Thank you.
