The Scarpa Mens Rush TRK Pro GTX is the updated version of the Scarpa Mens Rush TRK GTX boot. They are incredibly comfortable straight out of the box and a pleasure to wear. I tend to struggle a bit with fit because I'm sort of in between a UK 10½, 11 and 12 depending on manufacturer sizing. 10 is too small and 12 is too big so, I chose size 11, 11½ would have been perfect but, I'm more than happy with the fit as it turns out. They don't feel heavy on my foot. The lacing system is excellent, the laces being long enough to allow for technical lacing techniques and double knots Ankle support is excellent too, as is the grip provided by the P-Flex Lite sole unit. These are a pair of boots that I'm almost sorry to take off, they're so comfortable.

I’ve been with Talktalk since 2003 despite numerous offers from competing ISP’s. I have once again signed up for another 18 months of Fibre 65 after being given a deal. I couldn’t refuse. During a deep clean of my caravan I decided to remove the Thule Omnivent extractor fan to get rid of the accumulated dust and grime. This is the first time I've done this since buying my caravan new in 2016. As I was removing it I discovered that the clear plastic 'ventilator frame' which is the part the electric motor is mounted on was broken around one of the two fixing screws. I now believe it came out of the factory like that but I'd never noticed. I searched around and eventually found Rose Awning who had stock of the part at the best price I could find. I placed my order on Bank Holiday Monday which was confirmed immediately followed by updates on its progress. It was then delivered at 10:30 on Wednesday morning. I had the full system fitted to my single axle caravan in 2020 by A&E Leisure in Northwich. It works faultlessly and takes all the hard work out of getting the caravan level. For the first time in the six years I've owned my caravan the kitchen sink, washroom sink and the shower tray all drain properly and the caravan is rock solid.
The installation work by A&E Leisure was superb. They even managed to make the rear corner steady motor housing look like part of the caravan not just a bolted-on aftermarket thing. Top marks all round.

I found PK Safety while searching online for my preferred 25 litres size citrus based degreaser and hard surface cleaner. My usual source and others had become quite pricey so, I was really happy when I discovered PK Safety were offering it at an excellent price. PK Safety also have a wide range workwear, cleaning and maintenance products and I ordered some other items which were advertised on their very easy to navigate website. I placed my order late on Monday and received prompt confirmation followed by timely order status updates. The following day I received an apologetic phone call about an item I'd ordered in a particular colour being out of stock but, other colours were available, which I chose instead. Shortly after 1:00pm on the Wednesday my complete order was delivered in perfect condition. The degreaser is as expected and the other items I ordered are excellent quality and value for money.

After having a gazebo built I wanted some window and doorway panels to provide some weather protection for it. There are many companies online who can do this and I got several quotes but, I settled on Tailored Textiles who are based in Leek, Staffordshire. Their website is easy to navigate and use. I found a large range of fabrics to choose from and other options such as clear window panels, zips and fastening type. I sent Tailored Textiles an email with my requirements and some photos of the gazebo. Melanie got back to me very quickly with a price, which wasn't the cheapest but I wasn't looking for cheap, I wanted quality and longevity. So, I went ahead and placed my order. A couple of days later I received detailed drawings so I could double check my measurements. I confirmed everything was good to go and prepared to wait the 3-4 week production time quoted. Imagine my pleasant suprise when, just over a week later, I got an email from Melanie to say my order was ready.
The panels came with extra fittings to counter my ability to drop and lose such things, which was really thoughtful. The fit and finish is absolutely superb and exceeded my expectations. Remember, I did the measuring :)
Overall, these Tailored Textiles' panels have ensured that my family and I can enjoy our gazebo throughout the year whatever the weather.

My Washing machine broke down exactly one month to the day outside of its manufacturers warranty. No problem I thought, it's got an extended warranty with UK Warranty Ltd. The problem was, I couldn't get through to them on the phone. I kept on getting a "Your call cannot be completed at this time, please try again later" message. I did try again, repeatedly for a week, with no success. So, I was forced to buy another washing machine locally. Shockingly poor service, the only saving grace was that the extended warranty was included with the washing machine when I bought it.

I ordered a pair of Meindl boots for my wife from Jackson Sport Limited. The website was easy to use. The choice was excellent. The price wasn’t the cheapest but I was put off the company offering the cheaper price due to their less than appealing reviews.
The boots arrived two days later. They were are in perfect condition although the box was somewhat battered despite it being wrapped very well. My Wife is very pleased with her boots which is all that matters. Thank you Jackson Sports Ltd for your impeccable service once again.

The wireless programmable controller for my boiler had stopped working properly. I contacted Baxi and an appointment was made for two days later. The technician arrived on time and replaced the controller and receiver with an updated and superior version. I don’t know if it’s my imagination but the heating throughout the house seems to be more even than before, with the old controller. The guy who did the work was very efficient and pleasant despite the fact that he left covered in sawdust from the loft floor I’d recently laid. Thanks very much Baxi for your impeccable service from booking to completion of the work.

I've been using Ballistol Universalol for a couple of years now but always had to pay a premium for it from online sellers.
So, I recently placed an order directly with Ballistol UK for a spray can of their Universalol and Stichfrei anti mosquito spray. My order arrived quickly and was well packed. I haven't tried the mozzie spray, I'm saving it for Summer if it ever arrives. Universalol on the other hand is just incredible. It's almost easier to state what it can't be used for rather than its myriad uses, which include treating dogs fur and horses hooves. I use it on my vehicles, my air rifles and shotgun, both on the metal and wooden parts. I've used it on my shoes, my motorcycle boots, to keep them waterproof and crash helmet visor. Rain just beads straight off my visor and the treatment lasts much longer than other visor products I've used over the decades. I've even treated a graze on my arm with it. It didn't sting and the wound has healed nicely Some say they don't like the smell but, I've got used to it. Balistol Universalol is now my go to does it all maintenance spray. I just wish I'd discovered the Ballistol range years ago.
