'Exploding' Puro glass table and poor customer service
I have purchased the Puro nest of glass table, one of which 'exploded' shattering into numerous pieces. The sound of the table 'exploding' was so loud that I thought it was a gas explosion; the force was such that glass shards were embedding in my wooded floor and plastered wall. I cannot account for why this happened and the smaller tables in similar positions have remained intact. I called customer service - the call was rerouted to Dwell's Banbury store where I spoke to someone (Sara) who was helpful and asked me to provide photos of the table which she kindly forwarded to customer services. Since the matter has been with customer services, I have had to chase customer services for a) a response - which to date has not been received, b) to arrange collection of the remaining 2 tables and c) for a refund - which I am awaiting. Despite being told on three separate occasions that I would be contacted by customer services this has not happened. I am really disappointed with customer services, particularly given the nature of my complaint and the likelihood that this could have caused injury, not to mention the hours it took to clear away the glass. As a result, Dwell has lost me as a customer.
