Bought a UV Light Insect Trap from them…

Bought a UV Light Insect Trap from them which is totally useless. I think it's just a bit of plastic with a blue light and a whizzy fan noise. Hasn't attracted or trapped any flying insects. I've emailed to ask for a refund but having read other reivews I doubt I will hear anything back. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. It wasn't cheap either at £25 and took a few weeks to arrive despite it saying it would be shipped from the UK.

More expensive than hiring from a normal hire company in the end

Experience was fine the first time but the second time I used Turo, we rented a car from a host who charged us excessively for a couple of scratched to one wheel on an Opel Corsa. Host said that it would cost 500 euros to fix the wheel and a further 200 euros to clean the car (there was some sand in it). Spoke to someone at Turo who initially seemed helpful and agreed that the charges from the host were excessive (should be more like 100 euros for a new wheel hub, no damage to tyre) and that they would call the host to get him to send a quote for the work, and then I could pay him directly. We never heard anything and then just received a bill for 250 euros (as I had taken out the standard protection, so this is the maximum I could be charged). No quote from the host. I've asked Turo to provide this but not heard anything back. Have paid the extra 250 eruos but this has ended up being way more expensive than just hiring a car from a normal hire car company. Lesson learnt and I'll avoid Turo in the future. Seems there is very little protection provided to the hirer from hosts who are out to make as much money as possible from hiring out their cars or claiming extortionate prices for fixing damage to their vehicles. This was from hiring a car from someone in France.

Connection issues with Co-operative Bank

Ongoing issue with connecting to my main business account which meant all transactions had to be imported manually. There was nothing 'Quick' about it. From reading reviews I realised that several other people had had problems with connecting to the Co-op bank so it was a known problem at Intuit but I was never told this. Just told endlessly that the 'engineers were working on it' but they never managed to fix the issue so I ended up cancelling my subscription. It would have been more useful if they had have been honest about the issue with connecting to the Co-op bank from the beginning, then I wouldn't have wasted so much time trying to use accounting software that didn't work with my bank.

One of the tops I ordered fits well and…

One of the tops I ordered fits well and am pleased with it. Another ordered at the same time (also a medium) was far too small which made me wonder if it had been labelled wrong. I don't mind returning items but found that the cost of £12 to return the item tracked back to Germany from the UK has put me off ordering again in case I get the wrong size again. I think it's generally difficult to order clothes online without trying them on so I generally do end up sending bits back that don't quite suit me, which is fine if there is a free returns service. Two thirds are very clear about the fact that they do have to charge for returns being a small company but after having a couple of companies charge for returns now, I think I'm going to stick with companies that offer a free return service as you can quickly waste a lot of money returning things that don't fit. Shame because I do really like a lot of the clothes!

Customer service was pretty bad

Customer service was pretty bad. We got severely hassled at the airport to buy their extra insurance which would have been about £280 on top of the initial rental which was £70. Was told no insurance was included in the initial payment and showed me a list of all the excesses I might have to pay. I had already purchased an extra 'excess insurance' in the UK but was told this was useless and no breakdown cover included either. I went off to check with a couple of other car hire companies to check if what they were saying was true and a very helpful lady at the Hertz desk told me I didn't need to buy anything extra from them and that the excess insurance I had was fine. She confirmed that I should just be able to block an amount on my credit card which would get refunded if the car was returned undamaged. Thanks to her I was able to return to the Goldcar desk and stand my ground about not wanting / needing the extra inusrance. Also tried hassling me into paying about £100 so that I wouldn't have to worry about returning the car full which I thought was a rip off as it was a tiny car! They tried all sorts of scare tactics with every customer at the desk as well as me. Will be checking my credit card carefully to see if any extra charges have been taken off. I wouldn't bother booking with them again as it was a really stressful start to the holiday and will pay the extra to book with a more reputable company next time - lesson learnt.

Having checked my credit card statement a couple of weeks later no extra charges have been added on and full deposit refunded so haven't suffered any further hassle with Goldcar unlike some of the other reviewers.

Good service & quick turnaround

Updated Dec 2022: Always been really pleased with instantprint up until now. Started an online chat 5 mins after ordering 250 brochures to see if I could put the job on hold due to an additional amend from client. Also tried calling but was told that I was too late and the job had already started printing so I couldn't supply amended artwork. No flexibility at all and really surprised that no amend could be made when calling this quickly after placing the order. In the past have been able to email the studio and speak to someone.

Previous review from 2016: Easy to order from website. Delivery process works really well with lots of info about times of delivery and option to leave detailed instructions. Good quality printing and very reasonably priced!

Good prices and amazing customer service

Great customer service and really simple to order products online, they were really good about confirming the order and then giving me a more specific time when I could expect delivery of the order. Was impressed with the speed which they were able to deliver our order - turnaround time was about 2 or 3 days. WIth every other company we approached the whole process had been so much more complicated and difficult. Was a real pleasure to use simply paving. Thanks!

Good customer service

Have used this service a few times without a hitch. Think it may depend which courier company you book with once you're in Parcel2go. Have always found Hermes really good. Tried using Yodel once and it was a disaster but parcel2go customer service were great and very helpful in sorting out the problem. After looking at Yodel reviews it looks like they regularly have problems so will avoid picking them in future!
