Good, but could be better.

Delivery came un-harmed but the time slot given was not adhered to.
We had a 3-hour morning slot, but the couriers were late by 2.5hrs. I didn't have any notification that they were late, and no apologies when they called to say they were 40 minutes away or when they arrived at the door.
I was also taken aback when they knocked on the door, as one of the couriers was practically in the door before I could open it fully. I found this incredibly rude. Again, no apologies or explanations on why they were delayed.
I've given three stars as I initially said, the packages were in good condition and the general communication prior to the delivery was great. Just unfortunately, the couriers on the day let down the experience.

Review of Bower Collective

Amazing products and I'm not turning back!

I've been using Bower Collective for over a year now and I've always enjoyed their products.
Not only do their products smell amazing, but they really work! We first tried out their washing-up liquid and hand wash, and both of them have worked wonders. Since then we have converted to their sanitiser spray, floor cleaner, laundry liquid, toilet cleaner, limescale remover, bathroom spray, glass cleaner, dishwasher tablets, rinse aid, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even their sponge scourer!
All their products do the job, and are not harmful to the skin.
Their subscriptions are really easy to manage, and unlike most subscriptions, really easy to cancel in case you change your mind.
Also! When you've emptied the refill pack, they send you an envelope in your order for you to send back.
Only feedback is that the envelope, when full (minimum of 4 packs), doesn't fit well into a letter/post box and makes it difficult to get the packs back as I've had to go into the Post Office to get it into the postal system.

It was good.. but change was not for the better

I've been using MyPura wipes since my little one's birth in March 2021, and they have been great! Originally in 70 wipe packs.
But recently, they've changed the packaging, the amount in the packs (now 60), the thickness of the wipes and the smell.
All of the above is not great - whilst I understand that with the world prices going up, it feels that I've paid a lot for a box of 10 packs considering that the wipes aren't what they used to be.
For example, when I try to take out one wipe, I end up taking out a bunch - now, don't get me wrong, what wipe pack doesn't BUT this is every time, and it never used to be like that.
Also, the smell of the "non-fragrance" wipes is not nice and makes it worse as they're all bunched together now that they are so thin.
Sadly, I'm now looking at other products because I cannot see that MyPura will revert to the previous model.

I've given three stars because I don't want to forget that that they were amazing wipes for the last 3 years.

Thanks for leaving us a review and for being a loyal customer for so long. We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed in our wipes after our recent packaging change. As you have noticed we have recently updated this after receiving customer feedback that our wipes could be tricky to remove one at a time. The wipes are now interleaved so each wipe should now lead on to the next one in the pack. However we're sorry again that you're not finding this to be the case.

While we have changed our pack count from 70 to 60, you are now receiving 12 packs instead of 10 per case so a total of 720 wipes instead of 700, ensuring the price per wipe still remains the same.

We want to reassure you that we haven't altered the thickness, ingredients or materials of the wipes themselves.

We are listening to all feedback and are already in the process of improving our pack design to make dispense easier.

Spa like shower, but leaks and wastes water.

A lovely shower, with the water coming out of the shower head like a spa however the head never closes fully and water ends up streaming down the handle whilst being used. (I've even tried swapping the way the filter is in, but that's not the issue).
You probably end up using more water than needed because of this.

Although, I have noticed that my skin is much better since using Hello Klean where its retaining more moisture and looks healthier than before.

The filters are easy to change on the shower head, but can be pricey. It would be better to reduce plastic and not send the filter changing device each time.

I might try out the tap filter later to see if that's any better because it's a little frustrating to have the shower head leaking.

Quick delivery and lovely products. The moisturisers smell amazing and feel so good on my skin. They advise to use the hand cream as often as you like but I find only a couple of times works well, keeping my hands smooth and smelling lovely.

BMS Transport were amazing

BMS Transport were amazing.
From initial contact to after we moved in, they were great.
The home visit (via video phone) was informative and helped us prepare for the move. Following the quote was super easy, and any questions were answered quickly.

The day of the move went smoothly, and this was down to the incredible team work of the team from BMS. I still cannot believe how efficiently they had moved us out AND got us into our new home, without rushing or damaging our possessions. They made a stressful life event, relaxed and not stressful.
Even after the move, we had a follow up call to ensure that everything went well and that we were happy.

We would definitely recommend BMS Transport for removals.

OK Furniture for what you get

OK Furniture for what you get. We ordered a bed frame which is beautiful and does the job, which is great but there's a few little bits that we felt could have been handled better.
Ordering was easy and we even got an email nearer the date to say that we could get a free newer delivery date. The communication of what happens on the delivery date was confusing though as they asked me to clear the room & remove our old bed in preparation for delivery but I didn't need to as the delivery people didn't build the bed. No complaints on that, as went back over my order to check which type of delivery I ordered, but the communication up to the delivery was talking as if they were going to build the bed and it confused us a lot.
So, when we opened up the boxes, we noticed there were screws missing & a supporting leg was broken. I called their customer service line & spoke to someone and got a free re-order of the screws and the broken part. Well, we're still waiting for those pieces and we ordered them on 27th July 2022 (6 weeks ago). I'm not sure if the person didn't select submit or just didn't bother to order those pieces.
After waiting for 2 weeks and sleeping on the floor, we decided to fix the broken leg and get replacement screws as we couldn't stay on the floor.
So far the bed is doing it's job, but we don't look back on our experience well. It doesn't fully stop us from using them again as we'll learn from it, but it's just sad that our first experience led to a 3 star review when it started off as 5.

Great place to shop for your home

Great place to shop for your home! I couldn't recommend WaterHaus more than I already do, because I love it.
Cushions, throws, mugs, pots and more.
Really great communication, delivery is quick and the service when you speak to them is amazing.

Mama Mio review

I've used Mama Mio care products throughout my pregnancy and I'm very happy with the results. The creams I've used are super light and it's a great bonding time for you and bump when you get to rub in the butter twice daily.
I highly suspect that I'll continue to use their products into the fourth trimester and maybe long after baby has come.
The only thing I would advise for those ordering from the UK is to order in time as the products come from overseas and sometimes can take longer than usual before it reaches you from ordering. I made the mistake by ordering when I was too close to the end of the product and I missed out of keeping up the routine.

Cake is good, delivery communication is not!

The process when purchasing from Lola's Cupcakes was great, and there was plenty of choice of what could be delivered which was good. I also found that booking in a date was super easy to have the order delivered.
The cake itself was really good and came well packaged; even with the travel, the cake wasn't ruined (which is what I feared as it came via courier).
I would have given them a 5 star; however, Lola's Cupcakes failed at the communication with delivery. I had no idea who the courier was going to be that day, the order confirmation didn't give me any instructions on what to expect on the day of delivery apart from "if we arrive and you're not there, we'll ring you". I nearly reached out to them on the day as I had no idea if it was even going to arrive between the times that I had selected at the time of order, but didn't just in case. I didn't receive any emails on tracking or even a "we're going to deliver to you today!" message from them UNTIL the point of delivery.
Shamelessly, on Lola's Cupcake side, I received an email and text message with tracking information and a rough time of delivery at the time of delivery! The delivery driver had knocked on my door, gave the cake over and THEN I received the tracking information for my order.
Whilst the communication was terrible at the time of delivery, it wouldn't put me off from ordering again as the cakes are very good for special occasions.

So far, so good

I found this via social media and was apprehensive to go ahead with purchasing, but I'm so glad I did!
With working from home due to the current climate, I needed something to be at home and comfortable outside of the office chair.
The book is helpful with safe stretches and poses you can do with the ball. I'm currently using it through pregnancy and cannot comment as of yet on birth or after-birth usefulness; however, it's been helpful with relieving any aches and keeping my pelvis healthy.
I would recommend that if you have a partner or someone around that you allow them to blow up the ball with the pump as it's very manual and may cause stress on your body.
A few reviews talk about deflation; I personally haven't experienced this (yet) and I've had the product from October 2020.
So far, so good. If anything changes, I'll update this review!

90% bad deliveries

Out of all the deliveries I've received, I've only ever had 1 delivery that I thought was good customer service as most couriers will leave the parcel on the floor & drive off. I think we're all lucky if they even knock on the door to let you know that there's a parcel for you.
Credit to the one courier I've seen a few times where they'll stay at the door to give you the parcel with a smile!

Easy to navigate and the free bus to…

Easy to navigate and the free bus to and from the terminal was very good. The spaces were too narrow unfortunately and I had the fear of coming back to our car with other colours scraped along it due to other people opening their car doors onto our car. One improvement would be to have the ability to extend the parking if a plane is delayed or cancelled as we stressed about what would happen to the car and no information was provided in the "Manage my Booking" section or emails.

Review of Sharps Fitted Furniture

Customer service let's them down

The design and products are ok; the more you want the more you pay (which is expected and not the issue we had with Sharps). We chose Sharps as we were recommended them as all the deliveries, installations and surveyors were employed by Sharps so theres isn't any mishaps or issues with responsibility on who deals with damage or questions etc. However, we didn't feel like the customer service from the call centre was as good as it should be. Initially when we booked in the installation, we were told a date and that was it; so you assume that the installer would need one day as we weren't told otherwise. But under 1 week before the day, we got a call by a very "stroppy" person from the Customer Service team advising that the installer needs to come on another day and that it'll take two days! Apparently, we were supposed to be told this initially; when we advised this was not the case I got a very customer service robot response with no apology for their colleagues mistake.
When the date came for the installation the installer asked to stay until 8pm to finish the job, we politely declined and advised that this was not possible and the work would need to stop at least by 6pm. The installer then proceeded to go into the room to huff, sigh and ring his manager to complain that they'll need to come back to complete the work. I could hear their phone conversation where they complained and moaned because of their commute to the house and he wanted more money. Surely this call could have been done later, outside the house or the next morning? All professionalism went out the window.
The product is OK, I wouldn't say it's out of this world and most certainly isn't value for money. I still think we paid too much and we bought within the sale AND got discount! We will not be recommending Sharps to our family and friends.
