Excellent Quality

Bagx2 arrived really quickly and well packed. Wanted to add them both to my growing Coach collection because they were so nice but as one wasn't the colour I needed had to reluctantly send it back. Really happy with the one that matched my shoes - it is really stylish and excellent quality. I will get lots of use out of it as a neutral for years to come.

I ordered two pairs of shoes which arrived in good time, well packed and exactly as per the description. The products are good quality and very comfortable. Will order again.

Awful Company

First experience of Madeleine and if I could give them no stars I would. Wish I'd read the reviews here before ordering, lesson learned. Well Madeleine appear to have fixed the problems associated with refunds - you can now no longer access the returns portal so you can't return items to get a refund! In the last 7 days I have rung Madeleine 3 times to ask for a return label via email so I can send back 2 pairs of jeans (order 1200602774) only to be given several excuses as to why this can't be done - the latest? There is a fault with their computer system which they are trying to fix! No idea when the fix will be applied and no way to send me a label via other means. Hey presto their refund problem has been fixed by sticking the customer with good they don't want and need to return. Like others I will resort to a formal complaint to my credit card company if I don't get a satisfactory response i.e a return label within the next couple of days.

PS how ironic, they can still send promotional emails - I got one today.

Excellent

I contacted Customer Services on two separate occasions re an order for a jacket. I bought the Daniella jacket thinking it was reduced, however, on checking I had paid the full price - I ordered on 8th December and I think the discount wasn't live until the 9th. On both occasions Customer Services were excellent. I first spoke to Jodie on 13 December 2024 who advised she could price match the item for me. However as I had ordered a larger size separately, the original was a little snug, Jodie advised that I wait until I knew which size was most appropriate as once price matched I would be unable to return the item unless faulty. At that time I should contact Customer Services again. I subsquently spoke with Mia today (18/12) and after explaining the situation she actioned the price match process. The service was prompt, polite and faultless. Outside of this experience I will say that all my interactions with Hobbs representatives have been nothing less than excellent, the staff in the Manchester store are first rate.

The company itself is brilliant to deal with, really good website, good range of products and a trouble free purchase throughout. The 3rd party delivery agent however was very slow, didn't meet the delivery deadline and didn't keep me informed of when to expect the goods.

Great company to do business withHaving read some of the reviews on this…

Having read some of the reviews on this site I was very dubious about ordering, I needn't have worried. From start to finish it was an outstanding experience. I provided all the measurements needed to make a custom cover for an outdoor kitchen, or so I thought. Cover&All came back to me to double check the measurements and ask relevant questions. The upshot was that my measurements needed to be altered to get a perfect fit. Couldn't fault the design team and their expertise. The final product is simply brilliant, the quality is excellent, can feel it in the weight of the cover. Delivery was quick and the product was well wrapped. First class all round.

During the process I needed to contact customer services to double check a measurement on the final notice before production. I have to say the lady I spoke to was nothing short of brilliant. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and calm, she promised to come back to me with an answer and did within 30 minutes. A first class service.

Reason I chose this business:
I needed an irregular shaped cover which was not available off the shelf. Chose Cover&All and was not disappointed. Will use again.

When things go wrong

Ordered 3 items 9 Jan, 2 were delivered with Hobbs usual efficiency and was advised that the 3rd would arrive under separate cover. After awaiting 7 working days (checked tracking throughout where delivery appeared to be stalled) I rang Customer Services and spoke to Raj. After checking her systems Raj advised that she needed to contact the courier to ascertain progress and would email me the next day with an update. Good to her word I received an email the next day which informed the item had been lost in transit and that a full refund had been activated. Raj also said that if I wanted to reorder she could price match the item and offer free next day delivery. Excellent service. I have now reordered with the assistance of Customer Service representatives Raj, Amanda and Jahnavi - many thanks to them for their prompt help, they are a credit to Hobbs. I now have my fingers crossed the item fits.

Love the Knutsford Store

Love the Knutsford Store and the assistants who always go the extra mile. I normally shop instore but due an accident I was unable to. I rang the store for assistance and was provided with all the help and support I needed. Product arrived promptly and was up to the usual high standard. I have already received compliaments on them (stacking boxes). Thank you ladies.

Positive from start to finish

The website is easy to use, the ordering process is straightforward and delivery was quick. The products themselves (2x pairs of ankle boots) are good quality, the grey colour is a little lighter than I wanted but that is down to personal preference. The burgundy colour is great, a true deep red. I haven't worn either pair yet but they were comfortable when trying on. As I bought them in the sale they were a great price and now most of the Winter is over I will put them away for next year. Overall a really positive experience.

Good but not great

Website is easy to use and was kept informed re delievery when 1 of the products was out of stock. First large round mirror is faultless, however the 2nd smaller mirror is out of 'circle' i.e. the gap between the rim and mirror if uneven. The delivery firm used by Cox and Cox is second to none -they're the best I've had experience of. If the 2nd mirror had been as good as the 1st this would have been a 5 star review.

Good experience

Click and collect order which was ready to collect in store in 2hrs. Picked up the next day. The only negative was the fact that I had to wait 15mins to be served. Clearly short staffed in store and busy. Staff member apologised for the wait, was pleasant and helpful. Good quality product and great price. Would have been 5 stars without the wait.

Ordered from this company in July and was advised after ordering that products were on a 6 weeks lead time. Waited and waited, rang numerous times only got through when I used the new order menu option! Checked status of order in September to be told that company were waiting for some components to complete order. Waited again, rang and emailed but received no response. Google search today revealed that company has gone into liquidation. No contact from liquidators CMB PARTNERS in London. Rang them only to be told they don't have details of my £1700 order!!! SWN was a terrible company to deal with but their products were first rate which kept people coming back. An example of a business which becomes a victim of its own success.
