Too complicated, Too many Exclusions

Too complicated, too many exclusions and added costs that the carriers themselves don’t have.

Good service, Good Product

Good service, good product.
Switched from OralB and happy with the change, couple of things that woul dlike improved.
Heads difficult to remove, not sure why they need to be. Also the on/off button is very sensitive, does not have a proper 'click' to it, but ggetting used to it.

Good product

Good product, somewhat over complicated, but wall bed once assembled (8 hrs) it’s a great piece of kit.

Internal lighting had EU plug not UK, but after calling them an appropriate adapter arrived by post.

Would happily use again.

Increased subscription by over 40%

Increased subscription by over 40%, said they 'probably' sent an e-mail but vey underhand practice.
On calling they offered to reduce it by £30 a quater but said not willing to trust any business that operates as the Telegraph has.
Will buy the paper on the days I want it, probaly save myself £700
Have known more transparent insurance companies!

Noticed an unauthorised payment from…

Noticed an unauthorised payment from onBuy, I have used them, but not much as selection & servce from sellers is patchy.

So logged on to my account to use 'contact us' to see what initiated charge and its is quite literally impossible to get past their useless 'bot'

Stick to Amazon, I knw we hate it to but service is generally much better.

Added 09/01/23

Onbuys admin is obvioussly so poor as they have in last few days;-

Implied that my review was fake

Claim to have asked for more information (they have not)

Appologied for a 'charge made in error' and promissed to refund it

My advice is updated, they are worse that I thought.
How did they get my debit card information to make a fraudulent charge, they must have kept all the CVV codes and expiry dates ?

UNTRUSTWORTHY

Twice this year they have tred to scam us, succeding once.

Just upgraded from £8 to £16 a month, then had letter confirming £32, they just hoe you will not notice.

But had another contract that said plan ending, so assumed it would carry on on 30 day notice.

Couple of months later notice they have moved it ont £24 month plan and say thay can't do anything.

Take a deal and dimly move your plan to another provider next time woyld be my advice.

Only Partial Refund Applied

I have shopped this brand on a couple of occasions without any issues, however I have never returned anything before.
On making a return I received a prompt refund, but short of what I expected.
They failed, as they are legally required to do to include the outbound postage charge.
When challenged they paid up with an apology, but I suspect they just hope no one notices and pay up if they do.
Just be aware.

Silly Returns Policy

Silly Returns Policy
We like Uniqlo, the whole family shops ther, or did.

Shopped on Oxford St (London) recently, including a few bits for the family.

Some did not work out, so took them back to the local store!

Only to be told they only accept returns for refund at the orignal store where the goods were purchased.

This simply means we will NEVER shop at Uniqlo again unless local, and as we rarely go local its a loss for them.

There must be an Ivory Tower somwhere in the Uniqlo universe who thought this was a smart policy, serioussly its not

Selling inferior services

Selling cheaper services like UKMail as DHL
There the same company but differnt networks, we gave the package to DHL (P2G lable clears had DHL logo in corner) when he called by for somthing else, now lost in system. P2G simly do not care.

No plans to use them again and advbise anyone to be wary.

Generally Good

Generally they try hard and are open, willing and honest.

However any e-mal tyo them always bounces back with "inbound not allowed"

So you end up haveing to go through the web form time and time again, they respond, but its painfull.

Products are pretty good, not great in every respect, some elements coul dbe better, the location mechanism on te K 9 Multi, head drops off and how the locator risng is supposed to work is anyones guess.

You can't search properly unless you know the model numner etc.(who the hell doe's expect nerds)

Delivered 25% But Through Charging Delivery Was OK

I bought Dog Food and Coffee on-line. One is heavy one is light but bulky.

Had I had the presence of mind the delivery should have been refused, but on this occasion I did not.

They delivered only 25% of my order, I called the customer service number wanting a refund of the delivery charges, given such a small percentage of the order was delivered.

But apparently it was my own fault for not calling the store in advance and checking beforehand that they had what I wanted ??

Now I had to visit a store to get what I needed so decided to return everything to the store to recover my delivery charge.

The store assistant argued that the delivery charge was not refundable, I argued (distance selling/whole order returned etc) and she made a call and with bad grace refunded the delivery charge.

Their own paperwork even says return 100% of your order and delivery charges will be automatically refunded.

Now don’t like them, don’t trust them and will use them out of necessity if I can’t get what I need elsewhere.

Very very poor customer service, on the phone and in store, mean, unhelpful and sullen.

Review of Halfords Autocentres

Lone Female, Greedy Halfords

My daughter (22) needed an MOT and service, typically she left it until her MOT had expired so booked into Halfords Autocentre in Harrow on short notice.

The car is 6+year sold and she knew form an earlier check that she probably needed the front brake pads replacing, so was expecting some additional costs.

But not almost £600 (much less in the end as explained later).

The cost indicated was made up of new brake calipers, discs and pads and of course extra labour.

She was shocked so called me for advice amongst others.

But something did not make sense, they were offering a brake check post service ? What were they doing on the service.

Long story short, I advised to review the service report, and recommended work would be noted.

None was; suddenly £600 worth of work was a recommendation to change the front discs as son as possible.

Simple answer, they saw a young woman alone, obviously not mechanically minded, already anticipating some work, and they jumped in with several pairs of size 12's to take advantage.

Avoid the place like the plague, any advice is not to be trusted.

She took their advice and her business elsewhere.

Why cant Halfords work to build trust and repeat business rather than ripping off anyone they can?

Trying To Dictate If I Travel

Not a particularly great experience but phone customer service is the WORST I have ever come across.

Explained I wanted to cancel as first experience was poor and I was going to be abroad for a time, they said WE NEED PROOF THAT YOU ARE LEAVING THE COUNTRY

WHAT????????????

I can cancel because its Monday, because the dog had a scratch

Don't touch them, scammers.
