Rapid DC public charging does cost more than home charging because it includes the expense of high-power hardware, grid capacity, site rental and maintenance, payment processing, and 20% VAT (home energy is 5%). The current industry average is around 82p/kWh, and our pricing is in line with that average. We always show the price clearly on the charger screen and in the app before you start a session.
That said, we’d love to double-check your specific charge to make sure everything was correct. If you can share the charger location, date/time and the last 4 digits of the payment card (or your app/email receipt), we’ll review it right away. Also note that prices via some third-party apps can differ due to their fees, so if that might apply, we can look into it.

The High Court case between BW Legal Services vs Trustpilot (KB-2021-000573) His Honour Judge Lewis ruled on 12th June 2024 (66.) Quote: “Of course, it needs to be remembered that most of these reviews are likely to have been posted by the people against whom the claimant has sought to recover money. These third parties are not clients or customers of the claimant. It seems extremely unlikely that any of them will have sought out the claimant or wanted to be the recipient of the claimant’s debt recovery services.”

The comments therefore appear to have been mistakenly provided by a 3rd party and may even be referencing; our clients services, client procedures and client experiences - which is also against Trustpilot's terms of use.

We would recommend that the review is removed, and contact details provided by MIL or available on our website are used to contact MIL if a dispute or query remains outstanding on an active account.

MIL has been granted permission by the Financial Conduct Authority to offer the services of debt recovery and will not indulge in what would be a breach of purpose under the General Data Provision Regulations by engaging publicly with the author of this review or other 3rd parties for whom we have been instructed to recover money from.

MIL has not given Trustpilot permission to facilitate review’s nor has MIL illegally solicited 3rd parties to publicly post comments about their experience.
