Unrealistic Quote

Unrealistic Quote - took my bike recently to 2 local dealers for a sell price, then for a trade in price, then approached SuperBike Factory. The aim being to then make a decision.
I was surprised with the SuperBike Factories price being almost £3k under the next lowest valuation ? I dropped them a note to advise, only to be bombarded by repeated text to tell and warn me my quote was about to expire no other communication.
I think who ever worked out my quote, or what ever algorithms they are using are set to “opportunist mode”.
If you get a price from this firm I would strongly recommend get other prices.

Nice Sofa, store person lacked customer care skills

We felt the customer service person wasn’t that friendly, we were spending almost £6k and he made it feel very unemotional and his personality was cold and far too clinical. No real customer care skills.
At times he was also a bit patronising, which almost led us to walk out.
Could do much better.

Looking at the response its clear Sofology don't read the review and perhaps use AI to do that :-)

Poor design and build quality

Brought my first pair of Crocs for a family holiday. I went for a new design that had crocs written on the side of the shoe. When out walking on a slopping pavement my toes literally burst through the side wall causing me to fall injure my ankle and cut my leg.
I sent the info to Crocs and questioned the design and also build quality, it was lucky there was no passing traffic or I could have been seriously injured. Crocs were completely unsympathetic and finally after repeatedly sending them pictures offered a refund or like for like replacement. The issue was clearly not appreciated and response extremely poor.
Be very cautious if your thinking of buy as they are not of the standard and quality they are hyped to be.

Two new tyres fitted

Two new tyres fitted - Polite and efficient service, need to take the car back though as the front right tyre feels unbalanced. It’s the second time I have had to do this at this garage. I thing less speed and a little more care or training required. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good garage but they need to keep an eye on quality.

Ivy Windsor - Undercooked poorly prepared food - had to return two meals to the kitchen only one reappeared ? Really poorly managed and no real apology.
Get back to basics, pay attention and you might just about justify the over priced mediocre food.

Be prepapred to be messed around

Booked on line and arranged a cleaning date and part payment - they then called me to ask if they could bring the date forward as they were in the area that day and it would benefit them if their agent could do both whilst in the area. So I rearranged a meeting, and someone would call back to confirm the appointment and details, nobody did. Just had another call from them to state they wanted more money to clean the oven as our was a range oven and not a double, already explained that on the call last week ? I explained I was doing them a favour as their agent was better utilising their time by doing our visit on the same day as another local customer. When I explained this the customer care agent didn't understand the commerciality of utilisation ! But more focused on an extra £35 for a slightly larger over. Good luck with your customers if you mess them around like this.

Poorly manufactured rubbish

Poorly manufactured rubbish - this last three weeks I have spent hours on the phone to their so called service team, sent countess emails and they just don’t care.
I have 4 children and have been without a working shower for all this time. If you manage to get through to them “60 mins is typical”, you get a worthless response asking you for a heap of information, then you send it back and wait and wait, after many phone calls and emails later I gave up and brought another pump.
This is the second pump failure in a year, even the local plumber smirked when he saw it was a Salamander pump.
Thanks for nothing salamander, you owe me a new pump.

Ironic isn’t it, that it takes a negative review on here to finally instigate a response, which amounts to nothing from the so called technical team. Pathetic does come close. Someone that actually reads the emails I have sent would help.

Failed to meet the fitting date

Failed to meet the fitting date, incompetent call centre and customer care team that didn’t appear to understand English. Spent hours trying to resolve the issues, it would have been easier to go directly to the local tyre fitting garage.
Promised part refund, nothing yet.

Avoid these cowboys

Awful company - lies deceptive practices, fraud, doesn’t cover it. Have been dragging these cowboys to court and they didn’t show up or pay the CCJ award. Expert witnesses decreed never have they seen such badly assembled products or installation. CORIZO the profile suppliers were as useless and didn’t want to know. Now £6.8k out of pocket! They are now in the process of going under. We have others ways to retrieve debts which we are pursuing.

Revised review - Blade demonstrates Excellence

I had written a negative review as below on this dealership recently. However always happy to look for a resolution and Abingdon Blade really did surprise me.
Kim the service Manager not only called up to apologise but arranged for my bike to come back in, had a full check over carried out, two new tyres with a huge discount and a full valet. Absolutely professional service, customer focused and on point, “well done Kim”, every dealership needs people like that.
Furthermore upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile and coffee from one of the showroom folks in Harley.
Based on this experience I do feel I had both ends on the service spectrum and certainly would return. Also thanks to Dorian who was apologetic and I believe focused on improving the service.

Had decided to give the dealership another try following historic poor performance, apparently they have had a change of management, Sadly its worse then ever.
Took my 2022 Anniversary Fire Blade in for a service, was greeted by someone that didn't really care, and seemed in too much of a rush to deal with me correctly.
Called back the following day to collect my bike, to find it left at the front of the site, with the ignition left on and no steering lock engaged, you could just about see a dim orange light on the digital dash, the battery was completely flat. The initial response was they could bump me, or jump start the bike...."in my experience once you kill a Lithium battery its dead period, and will never be the same". It was suggested if I charge it up over night it should be fine.
I requested they supply and fit a new battery and I will collect the bike later that week. So at the time of writing this, I have just come off a call to be advised they have sent my keys to me in the post as the bike has been returned to me ? when its still at the dealership ?? Extremely worrying that my keys have been posted with my name and address on the envelope, if you join the dots up its not difficult to understand the security risk with that, which was lost on the dealership.
The new manager "Dorian" was too busy to speak with me, despite giving all assurances the dealership has changed...yeah for the worst !
Incompetent and unprofessional doesn't come close, notwithstanding the huge security risk of posting bike keys out, not even recorded delivery !
If you value your bike, a word of advice from someone who has been riding for 48 years, don't take your bike here. Oh they are keen to sell bikes, just know nothing about them.

Useless and worthless Warranty

Petrol Strimmer is not 12 months old and has broken twice. Einhell make it as difficult as possible to claim under the warranty and their so called customer care team are next to worthless. There is no customer care at all, just excuses and a poor excuse of a service team, who returned the strimmer in a faulty condition with a leaking fuel tank that could of seriously injured someone, not to mention a broken pull cord mechanism.
Update - finally received a refund for this useless piece of rubbish, and the cheque has bounced ! Wow what company! Don’t buy from this company.

Some good products - but company let down by appalling customer service and communication, taking payment for orders they can’t deliver and technical responses take days if your lucky enough to get a response.

Don’t book with these people

Don’t book with these people, we just cancelled our trip due to Virikson demanding an extra £5k despite us have all assurances that there would be no additional costs. This holiday was planned 18 months ago for my wife’s 50th Birthday. Such a let down and waste of time, the lies, false promises and dishonesty simply unbelievable.

Awful doesn’t cover it

Awful doesn’t cover it. Car went in for a service and recall, returned to us with 8 faults and oil leak from a defective sump plug. Initially asked to drive the car back to the dealer, but not willing to do so after it dumped 2-3 litres of oil on our drive. We then had to deal with the service team and their interpretation of customer care. The car is not quite two years old, we had it from new, seems like the dealer is keen to sell but a shambles with aftercare.

Aftercare - Forget it …..awful

Have a fault with the system - are they interested NO, awful experience, rude, kept interrupting and wouldn’t listen, and then want to charge to come and review the fault. The system has failed prematurely before it’s notional life time, so fails under the sale of goods act. Upon explaining this the customer service person became quite offensive and level of rudeness went up a notch. Then basically said legally they are not duty bound to do anything, the phone then terminated? To add to this - today I have had a series of bullish emails and idol threats to take down this post....really interesting approach. Further to the response below - which is not actually an accurate depiction of the conversation, they left out threats of legal action against me for this post and how their legal team will be in touch and that they will no longer communicate with me. Such a comical series of events. Hey ho, their loss. I will add that surely I have the right to continue to respond to responses if they continue to be inaccurate, and happy to keep amending. No doubt I will receive another bolshie email or reply. I do hope folks are reading this for what it is.

Eden Kidlington - Mark and Ellie

Picked up my new Corsa yesterday and I’m over the moon with it.. Eden Kidlington gave me an amazing deal, I can not thank Mark and Ellie enough for what they achieved for me! Their customer service was A*, they are so friendly and approachable, I would recommend to anyone looking for a Vauxhall to pop in and see them.
