Review of Tyneside Home Improvements
We had an orangery built on our kitchen which was complete around May/June time and I absolutely love it. Cannot fault the builders at all, they were all lovely and did great work (especially Steve, couldn’t do enough for us.)
In the beginning we’d decided to keep our doors and windows in the kitchen to cut down costs but later we realised it would be much better without so contacted THI to ask to make a change to our plans. Initially we were told this was fine and we signed a new contract. We were then contacted on the day our building work started to advise our changes weren’t possible, they had already ordered the materials and would need to carry out new building reg checks so declined the new plan and we had to sign another contract. This was really disappointing when you’re spending 29K to be told you can’t have what you want. It meant we had to employ a builder after the initial work was done to take the doors and windows out and spend more money.
The salesman who met with us initially showed us the special glass that doesn’t get too hot in the summer and doesn’t get too cold in the winter. I’ve been working from home in the extension and I’m boiling all the time, often having to sit with windows and doors open or have a fan on, even when there’s no direct sunlight and it’s raining. Painters and handymen who have been working in that room have commented on how warm it is, so I would say don’t believe the hype about the special windows, it will still be warm. As we’ve had the windows and doors taken out of the kitchen it means on a sunny day it also makes the kitchen unbearably warm, especially when cooking.
Overall, I absolutely love my extension, it makes the house look so much better and bigger, best money I’ve spent, but do be aware of the ‘special windows’ and make sure you’re 100% happy with the first contract you sign because chances are they won’t let you change anything later.

Review of Argos
My stepdad had an account with Argos. Sadly he died in November and after a letter of missed payment was sent addressed to him, I sent a copy of his death certificate to Argos. Another letter was sent addressed to him so this time I called them and spoke to a young man who assured me they would sort it. Then another letter arrives. I called them again in my lunch break at work and asked to make a complaint as frankly, their communication was dire and it was upsetting to me and my family. I cried down the phone to the man having to explain his death and upset at the letters we kept receiving addressed to him. I was told a complaint would be opened. THEN ANOTHER LETTER ARRIVES. I have emailed Sainsburys customer services as this is apparently the email to use for complaints (I guess they're one and the same now) and so far, I have yet to even receive a 'we've acknowleged your email' over a week later.
Argos, and Sainsburys by association, should be ashamed at the lack of bereavement support they have in their service. When somebody dies, the last thing you need is to be communicating with companies again and again. As I told the last man I spoke to on the phone, not one person even said 'Sorry for your loss' or 'sorry to hear that', it's really the least bit of humanity you can show. Honestly, I doubt I'll be using Argos again, horrible company.
Here are my suggestions for you Argos:
- Get your staff on some bereavement training and open a dedicated bereavement department.
- If you're going to keep an automated only system on your phone lines, add an option to inform of a bereavement of an account holder. Your current options only allow you to tell them if you're waiting on an order and then when someone answers because you have to press something, they answer the phone, 'have you got your order number?'
- Improve communication between the different departments within your company so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Review of Millie's Cookies
Ordered a happy birthday cookie for my friend to be delivered on her birthday. Delivery emails were sent to me and I know it was delivered when it said it would be. Slightly expensive but still pleased.

Great deals, much cheaper than booking direct on the companies website. Booked a few spa days from wowcher.

Review of InPost UK
Such a clever way to send post, it’s so quick and easy. I did face problems in the past with the lockers being full but it seems to have been fine on my last few.
Review of Triyit UK
I love getting Triyit boxes. It’s like an adult lucky surprise box, you don’t know what you’re going to get. You can try out new products for free and enter competitions.

Review of InPost UK
I love using the inpost lockers, they’re so quick and convenient and no label printing needed!
Review of InPost UK
This is such a cool and handy way to send parcels. I don’t have a printer so it’s so handy to walk up to the locker, scan the QR code on my phone and pop it in a locker. It takes seconds, no printing needed. Will definitely keep using.
Review of The Big Phone Store
Bought an iPhone charger online as I kept buying dodgy ones that stopped working. Came quickly and had the option of paying with Klarna too, very happy and will order again.

Review of 20Cogs
I’ve just cashed out nearly £180 so this is definitely legit! It’s taken me quite a while to get my final payment but it can be done! Always make sure you read the offers carefully and only pay out what you will get more from - I.e only deposit £10 on that bingo site if you’re getting £15 from 20cogs. Bare in mind you will have to part with money initially to get it back at the end but so worth it!

Review of OhMyDosh!
It’s always a bit scary signing up for a website when you have to pay out some money before you get a payment. However, once you hit £20 you can cash out. I have just received my first cash out today £20.50! Totally legit, worth signing up to.

Review of Bensons For Beds
There was a lovely woman by the name of Amanda working in the shop when we went in. We had a little look round and then I showed her a mattress we were looking for online. which she led me straight to. We liked the mattress but realised I didn’t have my credit card with me, so Amanda gave us her name, the name of the mattress and the number of the store and advised we could ring to order to save us coming back, and we did exactly that. Really helpful and quick service.
Review of ScS Sofas
I ordered and put a deposit down for my sofas in February 2017. The lead time was 8/9 weeks, and after this time was up, i contacted scs. I was told they would come when they came, and no indication was given on when they might be ready. Personally, I'm not sure why it takes so long. They must have sofas in stock already made when they're selling on a discount price. Anyway, I rang again some time later. Still no indication but that they'd put my case on 'priority.'
My partner rang some time after me and complained. Suddenly, the sofa was going to be ready the following week. Low and behold, they rang me and organised delivery for days later. I really do like our sofas. I'm happy with them, but I feel the delivery time could be more organised. At least explain why it's taking so long, and when it is ready, give people notice! Not days later when people work full time and maybe already have a temporary sofa they need to get rid of first. The communication overall was terrible.

Review of ScS Sofas
We were not planning on buying a sofa when we walked into scs, we were there simply to get ideas for our new sofas as we've just bought a house. On arrival to the store, a salesman greeted us and explained that the sofas come in different colours and showed us where to find the swatches and prices. A few minutes later, he walked over with a cup of coffee to 'warm us up'. A very nice touch, and although I appreciated the sentiment, what if you weren't a coffee drinker? (Which I'm usually not, but I felt like I had to be polite).
The coffee cups did make it slightly harder to shop then, as we had to balance them while trying to touch and sit on the sofas (and trying not to spill on them), but it was a nice touch.
The salesman did follow us around at different intervals, giving us information on the sofas. Eventually, when the time came to buy, we we led into a little room to give information and payment details, and we had a conversation about what we both did for work and eventually, football. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

My brother in law recommended this website to me and I'm so glad he did! I don't know how they do it but it's amazing that you can buy games from here for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Sometimes they have sale prices which is even better but even on a normal day, I just saved £9 on my most recent download. Would recommend it to anyone.
