Can be a hair raising drive

Have used many times and they have always turned up on time so in this respect they have been reliable.But some of the drivers drive too fast, too close to cars in front and this makes for an unpleasant passenger experience.
They should also wait until passengers have put seat belts on before starting to drive.
Some of the drivers are friendly and very nice, equally some of them obviously do not want to be there and seem quite grumpy...a smile costs nothing.

Superb customer service, cannot fault

Superb customer service. I bought a small gift item and had a question about delivery. My email was answered promptly and in a friendly manner. The item (a tin sign being bought as a birthday gift)was good quality and I was kept completely up to date with delivery times.
I have no doubt that the owners of this business care a lot about their customers and have a passion for what they are doing ... my purchase was only small, but it was dealt with just as much care as purchasing a more expensive item.

Superb customer service

Superb customer service. I made an order without realising the company was not UK based. ( They are USA).
As I had concerns ( probably unfounded but I was not sure) about having to pay import or customs duty once the order reached UK , I sent an email asking for a cancellation and refund. This was dealt with right away in a competent and friendly manner and my money was back in my account within a couple of days.
As such, I am unable to comment on products , but they are a great company to deal with service wise.
Addition to above review: You will see from the response to my review that all costs are covered, so no additional amounts will be needed to be paid. I wish I had realised this when ordering. Thank you for clarification.

Most of the time decent plants

Most of the time decent plants. If there is a problem I have always found You Garden are quick to replace any plants that are not great...just contact them. Plants are usually best a year or two after planting...the photo images given are often a more mature version of what you are purchasing. I think of You garden more as a Gardeners site ie: its not a garden centre where plants are in a much prettier condition to sell quickly.
If you are prepared to wait ,You Garden plants are very good value but you are unlikely to have an instant display.
Also, although I receive a member discount, You Garden plants are available more cheaply via Amazon site, so I now tend to buy that way..but why they do it like that is beyond me so I won't renew my membership next year as its not really worth it.

Very happy! Lovely plants! Need honest delivery times though.

My order of 3 x agapanthus in 9cm pots and 1 x Standard Oleander.
Excellent quality...very happy and as my previous order was very good have signed up for the yearly membership to get discount etc.
As any gardener knows, it's always a risk when buying online:the prices may seem great but you won't necessarily be getting the more advanced sized plants seen in garden centres (but you are not paying as much). If you are prepared to have a little patience to grow these plants on it is well worth the effort.
Having said that, the Oleander I received was fantastic..really decent height and will be instantly impressive in the summer. The Agapanthus were the purple variation...showing good growth. I shall plant them into pots where the roots cannot grow too madly (they flower better in pots where the roots are somewhat constricted).
My only gripe is that the delivery times are slow ... change them on the website because they never arrive as stated on the times given...which is the time when ordering that customers see ( not the explanation on here after the order has been made). It's annoying 😒

Still not delivered after 3 weeks of untrue updates

Still not delivered after 3 weeksmm.Evri are dreadful so , seller had to send items to me via a more reliable courier and they arrived two days later...why can't Evri do this?? And if you want a true idea of how bad they are, look at the comments on their Facebook page .

Money taken but no order sent!!! And rubbish response reply!

Plants were never sent! No indication why.. messaging after 28 days (the time stated on initial order confirmation email) they said 'You should of received email saying the order is now being processed'
..no such email existed. (They suggested it may of gone in spam...nope..it was never sent in the first place)
Had to get refund and will go elsewhere. Do not recommend...or take a chance if you want...you might be lucky and actually receive something.
Regarding reply given below... it is very defensive....The fact remains no plants were ever sent... having an order number makes no difference .. they still weren't sent 🤣...Take ownership of rubbish service and apologise! Also, interesting to look at Trustpilot's comment on the way you request reviews .....

Absolute joke of a delivery company..time for them to go

Absolute joke of a company...just look at the comments on their Facebook page!They say they will be making delivery then don't....for weeks now! Date of experience should say month of experience. It's time they stopped operating ( as they don't).

Jack's has lost it's magic, disappointed

Review for Jack's Magic compost.
For many years I have bought this compost.
What has happened this year? 😭 It is horrible! Must be a new mix, but I hate it.
The top of pots dry out and form a hard crust and all my plants and seeds are nowhere near as good as before with the old formulation. It has a very woody texture ..no good for smaller seeds which struggle. If you are going to change the mix then don't call it by the same name ( unless it's 'Jack's lost it's magic..)
I won't be buying it anymore....apart from if it's half price and I can use as mulch.Really disappointed.
***Regarding the reply response below..my review says it all... You have not confirmed that the mix has been changed..which it has !

Outstanding service, great plants

Outstanding service. I purchased two plants for my pond. They arrived on time and I was kept informed of delivery time. They were very well packed. The plants were nice and big and of great quality.
They were quite expensive I would say , but given the not so great experiences I've had with other plant companies, the price was worth it to receive quality plants. Thank you Roots!

Good plants, they sell them cheaper via Amazon.

Am happy with healthy plants and plugs with good root system. Thank you. And why are plants etc much cheaper when buying from You Garden on Amazon than on the website. ??
PLEASE update expected delivery times on actual website .. they took 4 weeks to arrive not 3 - 5 days as stated..not everyone will see the statement made on Trustpilot.. hence only 3 stars.

Superb service no complaints…

Superb service for a delivery of a rug from India to UK.
I was kept informed of each stage of the journey, I was given options to change delivery date which was useful. Also options to leave in safe place, with a neighbour etc.
Was sent update when courier was a few stops away so could keep an eye out for him.
Very impressive in all respects.

What a joke

What a joke! I paid a deposit to hold car for viewing (Mazda) ..Loughborough. I was told I would be invited for an interactive viewing of the car, where I would be able to ask anything etc (I live several miles away from Loughborough)..instead (and only after chasing up with emails and phone calls that went unanswered) I had a video sent which rushed around the car, without my being able to ask anything.When I requested (via email) a more close up view of a certain area of the car he was abruptly told " I did show a close up of that". After this further questions were completely ignored. I received no further communication and then had to get the deposit back which took two weeks and only after chasing for it.
This would of been a cash sale and because of this absolute shambles of customer 'service' they lost it .
Buyer beware.. had better customer experience in a bad kebab shop...but at least come away with a kebab !

Excellent !!

Excellent service from Donald Smith (what a nice guy!) when buying our Mazda from Letchworth (Norton Way Branch) branch: really friendly and knowledgeable, Donald did not rush and took time to explain all the paperwork thoroughly as well.The test drive and inspection were very comprehensive with no stone unturned. Have to say it's the best car buying experience we've had (and we've had a quite a few over the years). Really happy with the car and buying service provided and Donald is a credit to the company.

Great service, nice perfume but smell does not last

Great service ... received my perfume quickly and with up to date delivery time details.
The perfume is nice enough...I'm presuming a copy of the original 1980s Calvin Klein 'Obsession' as I don't believe it's still in production and whilst smelling the same , it doesn't have the intensity or staying power of the original. Unfortunately it does not last at all when wearing but then it is also much cheaper. But , my daughters both say "You smell nice ...you smell like Mum" so that's good enough for me

Happy with delivery. On time and was kept updated with tracking. As it was plants I was concerned they might of been damaged. Package was slightly squashed but not enough to cause damage.

Plants good , delivery time poor.…

Just received (eventually) 10 x lavender and succulent plants. Great condition and decent size. If only Gardening 'Express' 🙄🤣would improve on their delivery they would of gotten the 5 stars on this occasion. Although plants can be a of inconsistent quality on other occasions.At least be honest on delivery times.. excuses for bank holidays etc have been on the tired website for years..I waited 3 weeks not the time stated) Nowhere near as good as others in this regard...they need to pull their socks up
