After lots of online searching we chose Currys

We bought the oven we wanted from Currys PC World because they offered the best price online and also offered an all round package for delivery/ installation/ removal, including all packaging.
The two delivery men were very experienced and worked calmly and efficiently. We felt very confident that they knew what they were doing. They additionally sorted out a gas pipe they found behind the electric oven they took out which had not been capped off previously. It was so good to just have everything done instead of the usual, "We'll leave the rubbish here for you". Whole round excellent experience with Currys.

Disappointing Quality

We ordered on two birthday occasions and both times we were disappointed with the quality. Perhaps it's because they come frozen but when defrosted we found the cakes rather dry and artificial tasting. The small cakes that came with the afternoon tea were extremely small and very sugary. The scones were tiny and like bullets. The Carrot Cake came with buttercream which was sickly and the other cake, the Victoria Sponge, was dry and the sponge was poor quality. Both orders were sickly and very sweet.

We felt very comfortable meeting with Kayleigh. She was very knowledgeable, down to earth, and gave us as much time as we wanted. Very impressed with her practical advice. A larger than life character we warmed to very much!

When all the power goes off late…

When all the power goes off late evening and you've had a busy, stressful day you begin to appreciate having insurance cover!
The lady on the phone was very sympathetic and helpful. She quickly arranged for a local electrician to call, even though by now it was about 11pm. A very experienced and friendly man turned up about half an hour later who carefully checked everything out and found the problem. He re-set everything and left with a smile.
Excellent service right through the process.

Beware Online Photographs

We stayed in Upper Anzac, Brixham, Devon in September. The apartment was very disappointing; it looked much better in the online photographs when we booked. The general level of housekeeping was very poor. Black mould and broken sealant in the bathroom. Greasy and worn kitchen work-surfaces. The main oven didn't work. Heavy dust on the venetian blinds. Dirty carpets and very grubby seating. Many of the apartment features did not work and the property book was very scrappy. No locks on the veranda doors. The central heating controls were not as described in the book. It also said the property had Sky but it didn't.
Disappointed with the company response who said they would merely pass on our comments to the owner. No suggestion of a refund which we expected.
Classic Cottages replied to our complaint fairly promptly but with little effort at a real resolution considering we were so unhappy and also gave them photographs for evidence. Obviously they do not inspect their properties with much rigour.
Not a company we would recommend if you're looking for high end properties.

A Cut Above!

Excellent service. Friendly, helpful and prepared to go that bit extra to help a customer. Phoned me back, as they promised, to keep me updated.
The order was very well packaged and arrived very quickly, even at normal posting.
Impressed by the high quality of the item I bought.
