Very expensive mistake

This is a follow up review, I’m now on my fourth rubbish ring.

I was given one of these rings for Christmas last year, purchased on the 19 December 2024. Since then I have had three replacements. On average they only work for a few months. The fourth has lasted less than a month. There is nothing I can do to have fourth ring replaced Ultrahuman have a policy, no more than three replacements, regardless of the warranty. There is very little that can be done, Ultrahuman are based in India, where purchases are shipped from. At best they are a mediocre tracker, with too much worthless information, my doctor has told me is inaccurate and useless. As a sports tracker they are also provide limited information. These are nowhere near as good as they claim to be.

Thank you very much for your reply. Are you going to inform your useless customer service, they need to respect the warranty promised, when we purchase such an expensive item and not allow them to enforce your policy of only four replacements and offer us a refurbished replacements. It is not the customer’s fault you are selling overpriced malfunctioning rings, that only last a few weeks. You know there are problem and are still selling faulty goods, which is illegal in the UK.

Outstanding customer service

The access to the plumbing and electrical socket it my kitchen isn't the easiest. Both the driver and his colleague were patient, pleasant, they cleared everything, I'm delighted with the delivery, fitting, disposal and the customer service I've received. AO are now my go to when shopping and I will be recommending you.

Time to involve OfCom

Follow up the previous review on 2 July 2025. Things started to move in what I thought was the right direction. I received a reply from John-Paul Patten Operations Director and a follow up call to help with my complaint. To my surprise I received a call agreeing to the compensation I suggested. Now it's back to the appalling customer service, who agree with everything just to make you go away.

Strangely, there has been a reply to my email reaching out for assistance, while there was no service, giving the same useless information as during the many phone calls.

This will be the second time, I will have been contacted and frankly I'm expecting the same lies as before. What is point of agreeing compensation, being told you are going to receive it and then no further communications?

You really need to revise your customers services support to users.

Direct Debit payment

Every month I have a problem with the Direct Debit payment. Community Fibre cancel it for no reason. Community Fibre tell me the bank cancelled. The bank tell me they have not and it's the only payment I have an issue with, so agree the problem is at the Community Fibre end. Most disappointing is trying to sort this out with a customer service representative that obviously isn't interested, talks over you and sighs, when you are seeking help and is then reluctant to give their supervisors name.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE AN EXPENSIVE MISTAKE

I had my ring for less than six months and loved it, then it just stopped working. The help and customer services are useless. When we got the point of me asking to return the ring under warranty, they stopped talking to me and I can't get them to answer. Turns out to have been a very expensive mistake.

Appalling Customer Service

The mast serving my area was struck by lightning 2 June 2025 and l did not have a signal until 28 June 2025. I didn’t know this until at great expense I took my phone to a specialist, on the advice of Lebara’s customer service, thinking the phone was the problem they couldn’t find a problem and suggested I pop into the Vodafone shop. It was there I was told what the problem actually was. I have lost track of the amount of times I contacted Lebara’s totally useless customer service and who eventually sent me a replacement SIM and told me if that didn’t work the phone is the problem. Not a mention of there being no signal due to the lightning strike. I have also sent weekly written complaint's to Lebara who are ignoring me.

After the response below from Lebara, I did finally get a callback and agreed to what I thought was a solution and another callback to confirm compensation. Since then nothing and to add insult to injury, I'm receiving a flurry of replies to emails sent reaching out for help throughout the month I had no service at all.

Do NOT touch the cruise insurance

The claim was filed for a missed port during a cruise. I made the claim as soon as I got home, only to find it was not easy through the link to the claims portal, it didn't deliver the documents I uploaded. I had to email customers service and phone, it took an age to get the phone answered. I finally managed to submit the required documents. Only for the company to now become pedantic and ask for pointless information.
1. Why would they need to know who else was included in the booking, when they used a different insurance that has been decent and paid them.
2. Why do they need proof I left the country when I've supplied a letter from Cunard confirming the missed port and reason why.
3. Why do they need the invoice for full payment, when I've supplied confirmation for payment.
Surely, if I did not leave the country or board the cruise, I would claiming for the entire trip, which would be lot more than a missed port payment. I'm very much getting the impression, they are doing everything possible not to pay. The person I was travelling with filed a claim at least a week after me and has been paid. This is first and last time, I'll using such an unethical company.

Going down hill fast

There has been changes with Fat Face, their customer service was outstanding, dispatch fast, returns easy and sizing we could rely on. It's now plummeting downhill fast.

I love Fat Face clothes, but do not live near a shop and feel I'm being overcharged for that. The online returns have become a nightmare and are no longer free, I fully understand people abuse free returns. However, making the process so difficult you have to call Customer Service is ridicules and then having to call again weeks later to get the refund is not a good way to be treating loyal customers. Especially when we are returning defective goods.

The clothing sizes are out of whack, I ordered items in my usual sizes 16 or 18. I couldn't even do them up and 18 was smaller than the 16 and this is not a one off problem. It's not worth ordering online, when the sizing is hit and miss and we have to pay for the return of defective goods. The quality is also not what it was.

Don't get me started on dispatch, are they sending someone to the post office one a week, by the time we get delivery the clothes are out of fashion.

5G broadband

5G broadband, it's a joke. I had an email from Three telling me there would be a service disruption for a maximum 36 hours. It's really important I have reliable internet, I work from home. Without the internet I have to commute to London, a three hour journey each way, with the cost of the train £78 per-day. There was disruption and it has continued, I have called customer services (contradiction in terms) and was told it would be down for another ten days at least. Two weeks later and it's still not working. It's the next best thing to useless, I've had better dial up connections. The Customer Services are as hopeless as the broadband.
Four calls this week, I can barely understand a word they are saying, each tells me to do a completely different thing for the same problems, none of the solutions are working. My only choice to get out of the contract without penalties is the Communications Ombudsman.

Customer service is diabolical

Customer service is diabolical, a very expensive 20L Low Energy Dehumidifier, still under warranty has developed a fault after less than two years, considering it's only used in the worst of the winter, that's approx. 6-9 months actul use.

I phoned customer services, received an email link to the most complicated online form, what a time wasting exercise, that involved taking three photos of the machine, at different stages of the form, why can't they just tell us to go take the three photos.

I then received an email telling me they were sending a box, when it arrives call and arrange a collection. It's been a week, no sign of a box. I've called and was promised a call back, why doesn't it surprise me, there's been no call back.

When this machine was working it was great, economical to run, sucks moisture in at a phenomenal rate, and even dries the washing, I live in an old house, plagued with condensation in the winter. So exactly when I really need the machine, it's faulty and Meaco are being of no help. If this is drama of just returning a machine, I'm not holding out much hope of getting back before the spring.

I booked an unpaid day off of work not easy in the NHS and dutifully waited all day. No delivery or any communication from the Designer Radiator Concepts, the courier the registered director of this company and LuxPad Ltd can be found in public records however he refuses to have his name included in this review, that's how proud he is of the companies he puts his name to. Their contact details do not work, I'm thinking and worried I've been scammed. The light at the end of the tunnel is Tradings Standards have agreed to take on my case.

The pits of customer service

I ordered, paid and received a delivery date, just before delivery I was contacted and told the delivery could not be made the van had broken down (fair enough) and my order would be with me on Thursday, someone would call and confirm. I booked a leave day, not easy when you work for the NHS, Thursday came and went, nothing!!! I called QS Supplies on Monday and was greeted by miserable customer service, which came across as uninterested and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience, then attempted to make me feel stupid over my pronunciation of the letters in the order number. My order finally arrived with no notice, luckily it was a work rest day. When I unpacked the order, there are a couple of manufactures faults to the ceramic. Reading the other reviews I'm not holding out much hope of getting much help and really do not want to speak to their customer services again.

Have been sent to wrong rug. In order to return it I need to call a courier at 5 pence per minute plus network charges, I waited an age and still haven't managed to speak to the courier. Never expected buying a rug could be such a drama.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service and relations. I’ve been trying to verify my accounts security check. The code appears on the screen, the phone rings the message tells you to press hash, their system keeps repeating press hash until the call cuts off. I’ve lost count of calls made, filed two compliants, sent two written complaints by Mail, been told replacement passwords have been sent nothing has arrived, this has been ongoing for months. Excuses have been, a lot of customers are experiencing this, didn’t have any information regarding a solution to most recent it’s your mobile providers problem contact them. Don’t get me started on using telephone banking, no matter what I always seem to fail the security check. I can’t even close the account.

If you don't want a parcel delivered give it to Hermes!!!

I would leave no stars, this is not possible. Hermes are happy to take our payments and provide unobtainable expectations. I twice booked collections for parcels and had no show from Hermes, leaving me to deal with the rightfully angry customers and pay again for Royal Mail to deliver. Don't get me started on trying to get the refunds. If you don't want a parcel delivered give it to Hermes!!!
