Dynassuar…

I posted the below on one of their threads (search "Intellij glorified task runner") but they took it down:

The success of Jetbrains has become their curse: products are deteriorating and they don't listen anymore. The ship has become too heavy to avoid the iceberg.

Cursor disrupted the market. They started out orders of magnitude ahead, and move so rapidly that few can stop them. The AI speed is incredible yet they still bring out updates every week.

I've been with Jetbrains since their early days of Resharper. Now all that remains is a £3 monthly subscription. Webstorm is rapidly fading from my toolbox. For £20 I replaced WebStorm, JB AI, PyCharm, Datagrip and CLion.

I was patient, raised my thoughts as jetbrains issue LLM-16883.
Now, it's time to say goodbye.

They are the best accountants I've used over the past 8 years. Even when I had cost of living difficulties, they were very understanding and accommodating.

NO REFUND

We placed an order for £70. It was not delivered and the refund was refused. During the complaint to customer services, the gentleman explained that the driver was at my home and waited 7 minutes, but gave up. The evidence is based on his GPS. About 50 meters from our flat is a cul de sac of a neighbouring street. I was waiting late at night by the door as the driver was near, and I heard a scooter parking in the cul de sac, but I could not see it. On the call I wanted to avoid the technicalities: you charged me for something I never received, and you admit that I never received it. He was sorry, but still a refund is impossible. So I explained that we are Deliveroo Plus customers and have spent over 30k with them. We cannot continue if this is the policy. The gentleman asked for a few minutes to discuss with his manager. He came back with a definite answer: NO refund. They lost us now. It is a shame, because it's an inspiration story about the founder quiting his banking job and personally doing deliveries. The service was very good up to the pandemic. But look at their stock performance over the past year. I guess he expanded too fast and ended up with a bad culture. Good luck mate.

Bad Customer Services

I will unfortunately not be using TransglobalExpress in the future. Neither can I recommend this service.

Sent 3 status enquiry emails (sales at transglobalexpress dot com) which never got answered. Been promised via the online chat to receive a status update the following working day - never happened. Was once told to receive a callback within 5 minutes during my lunch hour. You guessed it: spent all of my lunch hour staring at the phone.

Initially I thought nobody monitored the email account, but then realised that all communication channels had the same problems. I even told customer services that I'm being ignored, but it seems that my complaint were also just being ignored.

So here's my review: I gave 2 stars, because the initial engagement was quite good (description of the procedure in a voicemail for instance). But once your payment is made and the parcel is collected and handed over to the courier, and especially if you run into delivery issues, you're on your own. I've run out of patience and has since engaged directly with UPS. Got a much greater service here which makes me wonder what the purpose of this 'middleman' company is anyway. Next time I'll spare myself the agony by working directly with the courier.

Terrible after sales

I've ordered 5 products from the company on their express delivery option, but for the one product (barbell set) they never delivered the bar. Since then, I've phoned them 6 times over 3 days to get an update on this. Everytime a rude person promises a call back once they have news from the courier. Once the phone was put down in my ear after pick up. Does not seem that they are willing to resolve this problem, and they and the courier are blaming each other for the mistake. Now there is only one option remaining: legal action.
