Sandstone Cleaner That Works

Sandstone cleaner is an amazing product. Bleach is the main ingredient in this cleaner so you may want to consider something else if you want something a little kinder on the environment. Unfortunately I've tried most of them and they don't work. THIS DOES.Easily applied with a sprayer, left overnight and washed down the following morning. My tired old grey slabs were brought back to their original browns and pinks.

Still Waiting for My Door - Appears they dropship products

Website indicated my door was in stock and will be despatched within 3-5 days. Email received day after order to say it had been despatched. Nearly 2 weeks still waiting. Contacted them via email (no phone option). They said the door came directly from the manufacturer (XL Joinery) . So please take care with this company as it appears they dropship their products. I would question if they hold stock of anything

A Great Concept with One Major Flaw

I have previously given Monzo 5 stars. When it comes to the app and ease of use, real time banking; that's still the case. However, there is one major flaw in terms of the limits on the account. 10K is not enough. If you want to move money or purchase anything over this limit you have to go through a protracted process of sending a selfie with ID to raise the limits. I get there has to be some form of check(assume its for money laundering) but the chat is not live, so it took me 2 hours to raise my limit. Its like going to the counter of a bank and queuing there for 2 hours. I wanted to move my banking from HSBC but I'm afraid that won't be happening now. The limit on my HSBC account is100K. I don't see how Monzo can compete with such low limits

What a Joke First Direct has become

Had an account for 28 years. Not impressed. I lost my phone, so got a replacement but I can't get the app up and running. The whole reset process is a joke. Its impossible. I know my account is overdrawn but cant investigate through the app and can't get through on the phone.
WHAT A JOKE FIRST DIRECT HAS BECOME
Once I get into my account, not sure how to do that though. I will be transferring my banking to Monzo who have a very secure and easy to use app
Just had a reply from fd. Unfortunately its asking me to call them. I can't get through arrggghh

Simple banking without fuss

Simple banking without fuss. Easy to use phone application. Feels secure. Love the immediate visible notification when you use your card. Proper realtime banking.
Charges are a little expensive on the surface, but when you look at the overall package they are ok. You have to accept they dont have branches so have to use 3rd parties. Overall a very happy customer

Excellent - But Please Stop The Sales Calls

Yet another purchase from AO. Can't fault their prices and delivery service.
However. one annoying thing that has crept into their service is the 'sales call' dressed as a service call. When I first started using them, I didn't object to the call as it was a genuine 'follow-up' service call. Now it appears to be a hard sell of insurance products.
It won't stop me using them in future but I can see it putting other people off using AO

Awful, Awful, Awful

Built me a website a few years ago which is now not fit for purpose. In hindsight it was pretty rubbish, but I didn't know any different at the time. Each year they charge me £150 for hosting. Eventually I got fed up and said I would take my business elsewhere. Suddenly they offered me the same package for £50. I continued on this basis. However finally bit the bullet and signed up with a different company to build and host a new website. When I approached them to transfer, they advised me it would cost £60, as the domain name had expired. When I looked this up on WHOIS it is still valid for 12 months. They informed me that they own the domain name as this was transferred when I hosted with them. So in a nutshell I have had to pay to register and transfer. In my opinion, a TOTAL RIPOFF.

World of Power was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. I bought a 57cm Weber BBQ with various extras. It was also the cheapest on the web. Purchased before 3pm so was delivered the next day free of charge. Excellent service.

Shocking Customer Service - Not able to cope with missing items

In truth, if I had received all the items in full my review would be very different as the quality of items was very good with speedy delivery. Unfortunately I had a missing item which was key to installing the toilet and cistern. When you call their customer service it connects but you are then on hold for ages (20 mins). Nice way of generating income. After several calls and failed attempts to resolve the problem I asked for my money back. I duly returned the items, but they didn't check the items in and I had to wait a week for the money to be refunded. I would not recommend using this company
