Excellent - But Please Stop The Sales Calls

Yet another purchase from AO. Can't fault their prices and delivery service.
However. one annoying thing that has crept into their service is the 'sales call' dressed as a service call. When I first started using them, I didn't object to the call as it was a genuine 'follow-up' service call. Now it appears to be a hard sell of insurance products.
It won't stop me using them in future but I can see it putting other people off using AO

I'm really pleased that you're happy with our overall service.

However, I'm sorry that the call from our Aftercare Team has become off putting. This call is made to every customer following an online order and it is still for the same reasons.

Firstly, we pride ourselves on our successful delivery rate and we believe this success is largely down to the calls we make. It's an ideal opportunity to ensure that we've got all the correct details and even some additional delivery information. This is also a good time to offer you the chance to take advantage of our Protection Plan. Whilst we know this is popular with many of our customers, we do understand that it's not suitable for everyone. We don’t train any of our agents to pressure our customers so I’ll ensure this is investigated with our Quality Team.

We will certainly take your feedback on board, as we don't want any aspect of our service to be putting our customers off. We're always working to improve the service we offer so we really appreciate you taking the time to get in touch.
