2 hours on phone to switch from EDF, they have to do Elect/Gas separate, then im told i need new meters, so booked in for Elect/Gas.
31st Jan arrives, get text Electric is switched, day later nothing about Gas. Call them up, 3 different people, 1st, Gas is coming, 2nd, seems to be an issue, 3rd Gas was cancelled, all didn't give a flying monkeys, no, we will sort it out, did you cancel one asked and then said by the way only Electric meter will be changed.
I then while on call get a welcome email, Elect/Gas is with us, so create and account.
1. I'm set up as prepayment, never asked for it
2. Address is wrong
3. 3 x Electric accounts showing, all same details.
I call EDF, yes your electric has gone but Utilita didn't request gas, so i ask came i come back, yes was answer, we will do it now.
Seriously, this company have no idea what they are doing.
So heading back to EDF..

Quick delivery, packaged well, instructions complicated as 90 fitting parts and took ages to fit them all.
Light a lot lighter than photos but once up looks great and partner was very happy with her choice.
Will use KES lighting again.

Thank you KLM for your prompt response, no surprised it basically took you minutes to say the same thing again.
So after 14 years of flying KLM from Edinburgh to Zurich for work, mostly via Amsterdam im left with a very sour taste in my mouth, i just looked on Trust Pilot at reviews and pages of the same issue as myself and customers being fobbed off by customer care.
As of today i will no loner use KLM as my preferred airline, i will no longer give 9 or 10/10 reviews on my flights and recommend you to others, i will use other airlines and only as a last resort book KLM if it works with my plans, i have Platinum Status for 2024 and will drop to Gold for 2025, so no worrying about XP points and booking flights.
I always booked KLM even if cheaper alternatives like easyjet direct via Basel or via London with BA, i will even happily pay a bit more for Swiss direct from Zurich but overall KLM you have lost a valued customer, all for a voucher to use on another flight, didn't even have to be full £200 i was expecting refunded, you cancelled my flight !!!
I won't miss the many cancelled flights in 2023, needing to constantly re-book due to disruption at Schipol but i was happy to call hotline and get dealt with by a proper person who cared about their frequent flyers, not a basic email response from so called customer care.
No wonder KLM has 65% 1* rating on Truspilot.
I'm glad i have only booked 3 flight so far for 2024, i will now look at other airlines for my Edinburgh to Zurich return flights.
I hope this reaches someone higher up but i will post all this on trust pilot to warn others that advise given about booking yourself with another airline and KLM will refund you difference, don't listen, nice people trying to help have no idea Customer Care and claims don't give a dam about what you did even when KLM advised you to do it.
