For Royal Valet Parking read muddy field!

Bristol airport access and parking is now a complete joke. It's difficult to gain easy access and the charges are a complete and utter rip off.

For a four day trip to Prague I used a Bristol Airport recommended Meet and Greet service, through Compare the Airport Parking from GLD1 Trading Limited. The Parking Space was optimistically called Royal Valet Parking. Sounds posh doesn't it. Unfortunately Royal Valet Parking turned out to be a field on a disused farm, approached by a muddy rutted track just north of Sidcot on the A38, some 8 miles away!

Have a look It's the other side of the A38 to QueensMead Court. Personally I wouldn't have parked a tractor there. So, for all who reported their dash-cams being disconnected, now you know why.

Extra charges were incurred getting the vehicle in and out of the Short Stay parking at the airport, the Asian guys driving my car had no uniforms or means of identity and seemed decidedly dodgy. The payment terminals if they work have displays so dim you cannot see them in daylight.

Bristol airport and associated parking facilities should be avoided at all cost, It is without doubt the worst airport I know.

Scam company

Ordered 1 litre of Auto Glyn Resin polish 31st July. Chased delivery 5th August. impossible to find any way on Buy Status limited website to even find my order. Went on Paypal whom the transaction had been made through and was unable to chase the delivery progress there. Filled in a complaint form and was immediately and I mean immediately, refunded the full amount of my order to Buy Status.
It is therefore apparent that Buy Status are a scam company and as such should be avoided.

D2 window regulators

Purchased a replacement near side front window regulator for my D2. Price was good, delivery reasonable, communication great. Arrived superbly packed, seems as good a quality as the OEM part (roller disintegration) and was fitted in next to no time. Works fine and I now have a fully functional window for the missus.
I recommend Paddock Spares.

Haven't a clue where the delivery driver delivered my parcel but I haven't received it. Dont know what "porch" he delivered it to but the wall it's shown on in the photo is no where I live or recognise:

Neilsen CT0167 Fork does the business

I chose a Neilsen CT0167 Stainless Steel Digging Fork as a replacement for a Draper fork 88791 that had broken on the very first outing. Give them their due Toolshouse replaced this fork with a Neilsen CT0167 Stainless Steel Digging Fork very promptly.
At a similar price my first impressions are that the Neilsen is an excellent budget 4 prong digging fork, Comfortable in the hands and strong enough to dig some very compacted soil on my vegetable patch without any strain to the tool.
Highly recommended.

Draper Fork 88791 rubbish casting.

I purchased a Draper Fork 88791 from Toolshouse. The fork broke on it's very first use, a tyne snapped off. It was obvious that there was a manufacturing error in the poor casting. Give them their due Tools House replaced the item no problem with a Neilsen CT0167 Stainless Steel Digging Fork, a much better product.

Totally incompetent

Sent parcel from UK to Cyprus containing a vehicle analyser for repair. There was a total inability to track this parcel apart from my address to the eCommerce central hub in UK. After that it was untraceable by both myself or any of the many DHL eCommerce staff all in different overseas call centres. The website is impossible to navigate, the contact details hidden, complaints are routed to Spain, who then refuse to action them and call staff are impossible to understand.
However, the parcel did actually eventually arrive three weeks later after routing through DHL eCommerce in UK, Norsk Global in Langley and Deutche Post in Germany, none of whom could advise the items whereabouts at any time!
Whilst I cannot in any form recommend the use of DHL eCommercie here in the UK, the return of the item sent through DHL in Cyprus was exactly the opposite: Constant progress updates into my e mail in box and a delivery time of 2 days!

BEWARE.........
Be very careful and do not deal with this company. Following my attempted order I realised this is a scam website for harvesting credit card details. Following cancellation of my credit card and re-registering a new one issued to me, an attempt was made to transfer a large amount of money from the new one. The scammers had managed to link the old and the new cards. Whilst the credit card company were vigilant and stopped any payment I now await a further new card.

Just great service

Ordered a Honda mower clutch cable on Monday and received it Tuesday morning. Incredibly well packed with a Bubble protected Jiffy envelope, Brown cardboard envelope inside with the cable in a plastic bag inside that. Reasonable price for the correct part and the carriage cost were OK too. Communication was awesome as well including tracking of the package too.
I thoroughly recommend L&S Engineers for all your small motor needs. You will pleased you went to them.

Great bit of kit

Jamie my little Jack Russell has been using the Pawfit3 for a couple of months now. It's light enough not to worry him at all and survives the harshest of countryside adventures, including aquatic search and rescue, ground excavation and cover scrabbling. This little tracker is very rugged and totally waterproof. Initial Pawfit assistance was awesome too, they could not have been more pro-active and helpful at answering the many questions I bombarded them with.
The battery last about a week before recharging is necessary and the tracking is accurate, updating very quickly even in the Wiltshire countryside, plus setting the Geo-fences allows me immediate knowledge that he is on his way to meet the ladies at the local farm. He has been known to respond to the various voice commands I can send him, but does seem to exhibit selective recall syndrome at times. Not a fault of the tracker I might add.
This little tracker is gives us peace of mind as we have an un-securable garden and need to know where he is at any time. The only thing I would like is a personalised alert when he deviates outside the Geo-Fence boundary
I thoroughly recommend this product and the company too. You will not get a better pet tracker.
