I'm puzzled by all the bad reviews

I'm puzzled by all the bad reviews - I have hired three freelancers via Upwork (an accountant, a transcriber and a personal assistant in another country), all different roles and all freelancers performed incredibly well.Perhaps I have been lucky but I certainly have no complaints and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the platform.

I wish more people who had positive…

I wish more people who had positive experiences with Asda Online Doctor would post here.... my experience with them has been extremely positive. I note the negative reviews but I sense this is giving an unfair view of the pharmacy/doctor. I ordered Mounjaro from them and my request was reviewed and delivered within 6 days. This is compared to their foremost competitor with whom I would have had to wait over 4 weeks before receiving an initial consultation. I would suggest you should not be deterred by the negative reviews - if Asda don't work out for you it's always an option to move providers but so far the service they have provided has been excellent.

The people who run this so-called organization must have desperately sad and empty lives - sending out spam all day and paying people to write one or two sentence endorsements for their golf promotion thing. Just avoid and delete their emails.

Some concerns...

I have been with this company for 10 years or more. Reading these reviews I am concerned that the apparent good value and ease of renewal conceal the possibility that when a claim needs to be made Policy Expert do their utmost to avoid legitimate payouts. I have just renewed for another year but I am using the 14-day 'cooling-off' period to do more research on alternative insurers with a better reputation when it come to claims. I would advise other customers do the same and also read through these reviews carefully.

Very good service

I've purchased from Thrift+ (via eBay) three or four times and have always found the quality and prices excellent. If you look for items in your size, or have a particular designer in mind, you can find some real gems. Happy to recommend.

Good at internet banking and switchover

My experience so far has been very good - the switchover from my previous bank was handled efficiently and without error. The internet banking facility which I had some concerns about also works well. Perhaps problems will unfold but I don't regret switching my current account to them so far.

Energy supplier or investment company...?

Overcharged direct debit and at one point had £900 of my money in reserve. No need for this, I always paid and have a very good credit history. They reluctantly returned half of it when I requested all of it back.

I have consistently felt that I have been a dupe in an investment business, not an energy supply company. They must be holding hundreds of thousands of pounds of people's money which they invest and for which they pay no return to their customers. This is the reason I decamped to Octopus which so far has been incredibly helpful and transparent.

Outfox always gives the impression of being a rather amateur set-up. I would recommend you look elsewhere and go with a bigger, more experienced and reliable company.

Great value for money

I am extremely pleased with the Vitavia greenhouse I've just finished assembling. Great design and build quality - there were some challenges along the way (the instruction manual is a little poor in places) but Vitavia sent some helpful photos of the area in question. Overall, very good value for money and a beautiful design. Recommended.

Unpleasant email company that fills up people's spam folders with their remorseless offerings... I'm reluctant to 'unsubscribe' in case my email address is sold on to other companies with the same scam set-up. Depressing that people spend their lives doing this.

Excellent service so far…

Part of my business often involved sending out parcels so I was a frequent user of the Royal Mail and other postal and deliver services. My first choice of service just became way too expensive to be practical and was often embroiled in industrial action (which, in principle, I supported). About one in ten parcels somehow went missing and claims literally involved threats of legal action. The management seemed to have comprehensively ruined the RM and Post Office so I began to look elsewhere. I gradually swapped over to EVRI and haven’t regretted it at all so far – easy pricing, label printing, drop-off and efficient deliveries. It seems to have saved me money and has been far less of a headache than the previous service that I used to feel so much loyalty towards. As long as they continue to monitor and improve their quality control I plan to continue using them.

Disappointing - look elsewhere...

Disappointing – I would recommend you look elsewhere before spending your money with this company. Here are a few thoughts about my experience with CRI Genetics:

It took 5 weeks for my sample to arrive back with CRI and it was only found and acknowledged after several queries from my side.

During the initial 5-week wait for my sample to be received I was bombarded with emails advertising their ‘exciting’ new products. I tried to adjust my mailing preferences but the preferences are worded in an ambiguous way and I didn’t want to cut all communication just in case I missed the worthwhile notifications.

Finally, after a 2-month wait, the results came in…! All well and good, it appears I am mostly European. However, at this point you realise that the vast majority of services and extra information is accessed via a paid credit system which by anyone's standards is rather expensive.

I wanted to add that having established my heritage is 50% German the most interesting thing they could do was give me details about the popularity of Beer brewing in this region - I'm not joking, a Wiki entry about German beer struck them as the best thing to tell me... on a serious note, this must be a bit offensive to recovering alcoholics.

My wife is interested in getting a DNA report but she will not be using this company's services….

Update: CRI Genetics has replied to this review and said they would be in touch - they haven't been in touch even though I provided the extra information requested and proof of purchase. I would advise to look elsewhere.

Edited to add: I have tried to unsubscribe three time from the huge volume of advertising emails that they send yet they keep on coming...! I am genuinely astonished. Also, despite their promise to get someone to contact me about my experience, I have still not heard from anyone from customer service.

Excellent service at a reasonable price

I have used AnyVan twice to move bicycles bought on eBay - we have an electric car which just doesn't have the mileage to accommodate the 300 mile round trip. AnyVan provided an excellent service at a very reasonable price. I am happy to recommend them and plan to use them again for future purchases.

Great range of unusual brands

Great range of unusual brands, easy-to-use website with excellent sizing information. *Edited to add: Having looked at some of the other negative reviews I felt I should add that I ordered six items in two orders. All garments were a perfect fit (I'm not an easy size, either) and were delivered without any fuss or problems. Some great bargains to be had in the sale. I accept responsibility for a jacket that I wasn't happy with, it was a good fit but it just didn't suit me - I can most likely get the money back from selling it on ebay since it was a sale item. I was so pleased with their service I sent them an email to say so and received a polite and enthusiastic reply. Anyway, just my experience. I would gladly shop with them again.

An excellent experience

An excellent experience - I felt like my glasses had been kidnapped initially but I rang them and discussed the quote which we brought down a little and was extremely pleased with my reglazed glasses when they came back in the post. Very happy to use them again and to recommend them to others without reservation.
