Easy process, delivery well tracked.

Prompt delivery but no advice that item had been despatched and no tracking. Received an invoice on 11th, Trust Pilot review request on the 12th then goods turned up with DPD on 13th. As DPD have one of the best tracking systems why not use it?

Good service with good delivery time considering present circumstances. I ordered a two person teak beach which is appears to be made of good quality wood but the engineering quality was lacking. Supplied with simple slot head screws in a soft metal ( not as good as hex head for pulling parts together) , very poor quality instructions and the wrong number of screws ( drawing said 8 of each, only 6 required on larger size and the smaller were of no use at all). I used both sash clamps and g clamps and considerable effort to get parts to line up and tighten the screws. Finished product looks good but effort required to assemble was more than normally expected with self assembly furniture..

I ordered goods to the value of £140 on the 24th of June and received advice of delivery for 12th July on the 26th of June. When I questioned why the delivery was so late I was advised that they did not have all the items in stock but hoped to deliver in 7 to 14 days (so 12 July was simply a guess). On checking my credit card I found that it had been debited for the full amount on the 24th June (day of ordering) yet I am expected to wait unknown period for my delivery.
My previous order suffered from poor delivery by DX but I was prepared to give Hayes an other opportunity but never again.
In the period I have been waiting I have received two request for review of service from Hayes, I had been prepared to wait until goods were received before reviewing but this second request really annoyed me. So definitely will never use Hayes Garden World agin.
