"Contact us" is disingenuous
Frustrating: Website does not allow creation of subscription from UK although no indication of this. Neglibible customer service except unhelpful FAQs. No phone number on website. Turns out this is the wrong site for the UK - so why even haver an English version?

Review of Kroo Bank Ltd
Great app - lamentable customer service
When all transactions are simple and query free the app is great but if something goes wrong you'll find that "customer service" is terrible. Any'chat' relies on to and fro messaging - each, it appears, handled by a different person. A query that could be sorted out in minutes with a phone call has taken weeks vie their support system. Plus the app does not always do what it is supposed to do so the tech also is far from perfect. I bank with First Direct with whom I can REALLY chat 24/7. For Kroo's 0.something % interest on balances I'm wondering if it's worth it. Probably suit some under 25s for whom speaking to another human is the most stressful thing.

Too stingy with carry bags - size matters when you are re-packing.
I have use several of this company's products and they are generally of good quality. However they all seem to have one fault: Almost impossible to get back into the bag! The excuse will be compactness but for an extra few millimitres of material, packing us after camping would be made so much quicker. So don't be so stingy with the bags - us campers don't have our own factory to repack them!
Review of Eurohike
Bigger carry bag please!
I have had a Eurohike 3 person tent for 4 years and used it a dozen times. It is robust, leak free and easy to assemble. What I'd really like to feed back to Eurohike however is - Please please make the carry bag just 20mm bigger so that is not such a huge struggle to fit the tent back in the bag. Factory packed it fits nicely but thats little use to me whilst rushing to put the tent away before tghe next downpour.

"Need to sperak to someone?" - a joke
They claim to be the best company - on what basis? I ask. Their first question when you call is "Need to speak to someone?" What rot. Unless one is able to select the right combination of options everything is recorded messages. I've tried 5 times on this latest occasion and still am unable to speak to anyone. Apalling service.

Do not use this company.
Do not use this company.
I booked and paid ahead for a car and they had no cars left when I arrived to collect. They refused to return my money. If I was rich I've have tyaken them to court.
The simply cannot be trusted

New "customer Service" system fails to meet promise
New "customer Service" system promises better - its rubbish. The system does not answer complex questions and human contact is very hard to find. Another organisation that reduces customer service to the minimum to squeeze a bit more profit.

limited utility
For a regular gig-goer the app is probably useful for booking and seeing what's on. If you just need it because the venue uses it as a middle man and its the only way to get your E-ticket - its a bit of a pain!

Fair premium stung for a minor addition
Fair premium but if you need to add any medical issue [in my case a small broken toe of no consequence] they will hit your pocket big time. Cannot be trusted to act fair once you are in contract so I would never trust them to pay out.
Review of Paypal
Nobody to talk to when their IT and bots fail
I have stopped using paypal because after a glitch in their IT it was impossible to confirm whether or not a payment had gone through. The company relies almost entirely on Bots and FAQs and this I do not consider adequate customer service

"Contact us" is totally disingenuous
The company's website shows a 'contact us' section. This is totally disingenuous. It only ever leads to FAQs. There is actually no customer service.
For the money charged there should be proper customer service.

UNTRUSTWORTHY
My travel policy with GTG (May 2024 for a trip to Africa from 2nd to 17th October) cost £199 The insurance covered a few pre existing conditions – I am 73 years old
On 12th September, 21 days before travelling I dropped something which caused a fracture to the tiny end bone on the second toe of my left foot. The damage was confirmed by a visit to a local clinic with the instruction to just keep it bound to it’s neighbour for 3 weeks.
Aware that any doctor visit/new ‘condition’ needed to be reported. I called GTG expecting an admin fee for a note on the policy. NO, they wanted an additional £172.33: An 85.5% increase in the premium. I complained of course. I found an alternative quote INCLUDING the broken toe for £175.07. GTG refused to refund the premium so that I could cancel and take the business elsewhere. (They later offered a 50% refund but that would still have left me out of pocket). They refused to adjust their additional premium.
I simply do not believe that a tiny broken toe bone with no suggestion by a medical professional that there could be any ‘complications’ – and which apart for a little foam sleeve, required no attention nor gave any further discomfort – represented ANY significant additional risk to the insurers. This seems to be confirmed by the alternative quote.
I can only conclude that Good To Go Insurance cannot be trusted not to profiteer from any, even minor, change in circumstances once you have paid the initial premium.
I will avoid this company for any future insurance.

Nice to deal with a friendly human.
Danielle make the booking of our flights very simple [nicer than booking on-line and worrying about making a costly typing error] and saved us a few bob off the best that Skyscanner showed.

An irritating intermediary
Another irritating intermediary with minimal customer service: Web based yet again means no human contact, F.A.Qs if there is a problem and tech that does not always work. Most frustrating. I have asked to contact a supplier due to an issue with a product but I need to 'sign in' every time I want to make contact and get 'no reply' emails - I'm sick of it!
Review of Airbnb
Whilst I would 'trust' the organisation…
Whilst I would 'trust' the organisation to handle payments etc, I find their website [lack of any means of referencing specific properties - ie to find on a subsequent search] and lack of useful standardisation of host's pages rather infuriating. I also dislike the fact than on asking for clarification of something from a host one is bombarded with options to book. Signifying, I suspect, that customer care runs very secondary to grabbing our cash. Better standards and a better attitude to punters would give them more stars I feel.
Review of Microsoft
The company no longer has any customer…
The company no longer has any customer engagement. The are too big to bother with customers' problems. Account recovery is clearly hugely problematic. I was considering a new pc but this means using MS [I am not interested in more esoteric operating systems] so Apple is the only choice. They can be irritating but at least there have customer support which Microsoft does not.
