I purchased console for my little one. It was admittedly best price I could find. I had a change of heart (she is getting addicted to gaming) and decided to cancel the order but EE Store site seems a little broken. Despite pressing cancel button on my order nothing happend (no error and no change to the status). Order got shipped and took around a week to be delivered. I managed to refuse the delivery and few days later got a refund.
All in all, good price but not much in terms of customer support or order management options. Also delivery took quite a while.
Super convenient, competitive prices, excellent service for busy people.

Finally got a refund yesterday. It took well over a month and Dell kept blaming their IT system for inability to issue it sooner. I filled a dispute with PayPal and looks like that did the trick. Needless to say, will never buy from them again

It's been a month now without a refund. Dell is blaming glitch in their IT system for inability to process a refund. Absolute joke of a company.
Giving one star as zero is not an option. Ordered expensive item, changed my mind and cancelled the order. Item shipped regardless. Returned in unopened box. Despite countless emails, three weeks later still waiting for a refund. Avoid at all costs
I bought plenty of stuff from Very and thus far couldn't say a single bad thing about it but I just had a pretty bad experience which just goes to show all is well when things are practically automated (click, pay, ship) but when there are issues, it's really tricky to get it sorted when buying from some retailers. So I bought something and hours later realized it's advertised in misleading way. Cancelled order and over 24 hours later it got shipped anyway. I also noticed that code I used (it has been issued through the Very app) to get 20% off was applied during the process but there is no evidence of it (usually I get email confirming it max 24 hours later). They only way to contact Very is by phone. I spent 30 minutes taking to someone who clearly was in the process of training (put on hold twice only to check basic things) and I have zero confidence in some of the answers given. I had to wait for item to arrive only to return it next day. I have to say that fefund had been processed swiftly so all in all it wasn't that bad (room for improvement for sure).

Cheapest and fastest service Ordered book in the afternoon and got it next morning. Cheapest price I could find for a latest release. Absolutely brilliant
Finally got a refund. Seems like their hardware is great value for the money but support could definitely be improved.

I bought a laptop through official site. According to reviews model I choose is really good but hours after placing the order I have decided to check reviews of their support and was horrified to find out how bad they are. I then tried to cancel the order and my experience since then only confirms that they Indeed have a terrible support. First of all they could not cancel the order (despite ample time prior to shipping) due to various reasons, one being their systems were down... They also failed to stop DPD delivery (I imagine they did that on purpose). I did refuse delivery about the week ago and despite laptop arriving back at their warehouse few days ago I am still waiting for my refund. Glad I did not accept the delivery as I can imagine return would be even harder. My advice would be to avoid dealing with them.

Installer told us our installation will not happen this year. They could not give us the date as they did not hear back from Hillary's!!! What a terrible company. I am truly shocked. Does anyone know how we can go about getting our money back?!?
@Laura from Hillary's. It's sad it takes a negative review on here for you to even acknowledge us. You had two days to review that complaint yet we still did not hear back. Truly shocking...
Update 16/12:
I have just been told by the installer (btw the ONLY person who communicates with us, I am guessing he is just a contractor, not even Hillary's employee) that our installation will not happen. We waited over four months, paid the deposit, took a day off to facilitate that installation and it won't happen. I suspect Hillary's will blame anyone (Brexit, Covid, Supply Chain issues) but themselves. That's assuming they will even bother contacting us or replying to several emails we've sent in past few weeks :)
Absolutely shocking service!!! We have placed the order months ago (summer). There was a cockup with the order that has been rectified. After paying advance and waiting months for the installation we got a call (voicemail) telling us that most likely they will not meet the deadline. I've sent numerous emails in past few weeks to enquiries at Hillary's Inbox and received ZERO answer. Meanwhile I got a several emails with new promotions etc ;) Getting through to their Customer Care wasn't easy (only Sales seems to be answering calls) and I was told by completely unapologetic and uninterested rep that they might or might not meet the deadline. I am simply shocked with the level of service and I dread to think what support we can expect after the installation. I cant believe all the positive reviews are true. How can they be both great and (consistently, throughout entire experience) terrible?!?

I bought a mattress to treat guests to a good night sleep. Having already mattresses from Simba and Eve I thought I will try something new, hence I got a Nectar. Mattress arrived in a really tatty and dirty box. Even inside of the box was of questionable condition. I contacted customer care and was given a usual we're sorry script. We have agreed I will try the mattress. Mattress was fine however one corner did not seem completely symmetrical (I know, I am a little picky). Since my experience from the very beginning wasn't too pleasant I've decided to return the mattress and that's where the real problems started.
Mattress was supposed to be collected last weekend but it hasn't. There was no communication from neither unreliable courier they use nor Nectar themselves. In fact Nectar has now stopped replying to me emails. I think I will need to try disputing that transaction with PayPal to get my money back!?!
Absolutely awful company offering guarantee they don't seem to honour.

Bought a really lovely bed frame from them but it arrived in battered box with one piece missing. They are rather slow to respond to issues (still waiting, almost 48 hours later). Luckily I have a spare bed but if I wouldn't I would be in trouble ;)
Top company. Maybe not THE best mattress in the world (according to latest rankings), maybe not THE cheapest one either but a cracking company to deal with. On that basis I have just bought a second (bigger) mattress from them. Companies like that deserve more business :)
Bought mattress on Boxing Day sale after reading all the (hyped) reviews. While awaiting delivery started reading some awful reviews focused on customer care provided by that retailer (or rather complete lack of support) and it got me so worried I've cancelled my order. They kept my money for two weeks so far, wonder how long will I have to wait before I will be forced to take them to court. After limited experience I had dealing with their support I can confirm they are not the company you want to buy high ticket item from (poor communication, conflicting/missing updates etc). I suspect that advertised 100 days trial as well as 10 years warranty are simply porkies ;)
Update:
Almost three weeks since purchasing and despite cancelling order I still haven't received a refund. I got an email reading that refund has been approved but it was for a wrong amount!!! In any case, refund hasn't arrived (should be instantaneous as I have used PayPal). I don't believe you can be that incompetent. I think it's borderline criminal behaviour, clearly they are just stalling and using funds of some of the customers to help with their cash flow.
Update 2:
Just got an email from Emma stating that senior team will investigate my case. They need a senior resource to investigate why almost three weeks after cancelling order no refund has been issued. I've filed dispute case with PayPal but they seem to be rather impotent (they will always side with businesses that generates income for them, not with small fish/individual). I am shocked that such company is allowed to trade, taking vast amounts of money from people at the back of hyped reviews and constant (40-45%) sales.
Final update:
Got my money back after disputing transaction through PayPal. It took three weeks. Never gonna use Emma again. Maybe their mattress is awesome (never got a chance to try it) but their support (or rather lack of) is terrible. Ordered new mattress from Simba, their support is awesome, I had to replace faulty Simba in the past and they were terrific in dealing with the issues. These companies could not be more different :)
Disappointing to say the least. I had a chat with technician at BMW and he admitted they could never match prices of tyres bought at the likes of JustTyres simple due to volume these guys are shifting on daily basis. I thought I will give JT a chance thinking that changing tyres is not a rocket science and that I can save 100 quid on a set of premium tyres. I've spent at JT close to a grand (set of premium RFT). I had them installed at Crawley branch. Chap who has served me was very pleasant however service that has been carried out was below average. They have removed car boot liner to get to wheel nut key and left boot all messy. They have left a lot of grease smudges inside the car (door handle, cream Italian leather seats). Very untidy and disappointing service. Stick to your dealership, small saving is not worth it (I will need to spend some of that saved money on cleaning now).

I am really surprised to see so many positive reviews for that service. I've used them twice. First time it was ok (not without a glitch but not worth complaining much). Second time however turned into epic failure. I've arranged collection of bulky item by Hermes. There was no communication whatsoever as to when (roughly, as in 4-6 hours window) I can expect collection. Initial collection did not take place. It took place next day (again, no warning, they expect you to be at home at all times basically). Item has been scanned creating double order in Hermes system (just so it will be trickier to sort things out later). Delivery date has been missed and order is stuck in limbo since Tuesday (four days now) with generic message we will get your parcel on the way in next 24 hours. Customer support ignores my emails, I am 24 quid out of pocket, my parcel seems missing and I have to deal not with one but two incompetent companies. Avoid!!!

This means whilst a collection has been booked, we cannot guarantee it will be uplifted on the date requested, however it will be collected. If a collection fails, we can rebook, change the service or fully refund you
In regards to the label issue, and tracking, when a collection is rebooked a new label is automatically issued. If the old label is used, then you need to use the reference under the barcode in order to track this. It is tracking under 0225571492339567.
When a delivery is booked to Amazon, via Hermes, they hold the parcels at the depot. Amazon do not accept returns, via a normal carrier. So they hold them at the depot, and once a trailer is full they deliver the trailer to Amazon. This can take up to 14 days, from the date it is scanned at the depot. I am sorry about this, it is something we have no control over.

I have been using Coinbase for all my crypto trades for well over a year. They are cowboys of crypto space, I would compare them to Raynair of crypto industry (read lots of various fees, nonexistent customer support etc). After my recent trade which resulted in yet another cockup I've decided enough is enough and gave Bittylicious a try and I must say it was the smoothest experience of buying cryptos I've ever had. My transaction was completed in matter of minutes and that's including bank transfer!!! Would thoroughly recommend.

We bought a set of furniture for our baby girl in Croydon branch. It was scheduled to be delivered on 23rd of August. The day before delivery was going to take place we have received email telling us that due to some "unforeseen circumstances" order will be delayed and it was automatically re-scheduled for 8th of September. Its 8th of September, no news about delivery, I've decided to call them and surprise-surprise, there will be no delivery today due to "computer system glitch" read complete incompetency and dont-care-about-existing-clients attitude. Avoid those cowboys!!! Stick to the likes of John Lewis and Amazon, looks like other retailers are still stuck in Wild West era...
