Unable to cancel/amend order.
I am SO ANGRY, I've used this company and its sister one, several times, over several years, and now, vaguely recall having an issue attempting to cancel an item in an order once before, but this morning, I placed an order for £167.35, and noticed in the order confirmation, that I'd been charged £4.95 for next day delivery, which I certainly didn't need nor want. I called Look Fantastic immediately, and was told that, even though I was calling just 12 minutes after placing the order; "It wouldn't be possible to amend the delivery option, so it'd be better to cancel the whole order", however, I would need to wait for up to 90 minutes for confirmation of such" . I actually received an email only 20 minutes later ( 32 minutes after the order was placed ), but informing me of the 'failed cancellation' !!! Yet the website clearly gives an option to cancel each and every item/order. I've since called again and spoken with someone on the management team of Look Fantastic , and expressed my displeasure, on 2 levels; I fail to see that if a cancellation option is available, that in reality, anyone would be able to cancel, if it wasn't possible only 12 minutes after ordering , and, secondly, as the website advertise their "Free Worldwide Delivery" on every page, why was I seemingly meant to 'opt out' of the next day delivery at £4.95, as against the simpler option of 'opting in'? I've been 'lucky' enough, for the company to waive the delivery charge "on this occasion" . Rest assured, Look (not so) Fantastic, there won't be another occasion.
