Lack of attention to finishing detail.

Reasonable delivery time, arrived well-packaged. Picture itself was just what we wanted, but were disappointed at the finishing of the canvas-stretching, especially on the corners - these were just bunched together, very obvious from the side view, and made picture stick out unevenly from the wall. Luckily had an upholstery stapler, so able to fix the problem, with some time and effort. Just a pity that this hadn't been finished to higher standard.

Good service, item not quite as shown

Ordered two OXO shower drain protectors which arrived promptly and do an excellent job. Only problem is that the rubber edging is black, not white as shown in illustration, so it is very obvious against white bath/shower tray, and rather spoils the look, which is a disappointment.

As a postscript, Millys have been in touch with me - this problem was news to them, and the issue is with the photographs which were provided by the manufacturer. Millys have taken my point on board, and very kindly (and unexpectedly) refunded half the cost of the items. Excellent customer service - thanks, Hannah!

So, what happened to the 'Free Delivery' ?

Certainly a great selection of products, which we hope will be very good when they arrive. However, beware the much-publicised 'Free delivery over £299' as, apparently, this only applies if the company think you live in the right area!
This isn't made at all clear in the website as, when you try to look at the delivery section, it just goes back to the main page, and no exclusions or conditions can be seen.
Despite living on the outskirts of Aberdeen (known as the 'Oil Capital of Europe' and with major road networks), and ordering just short of £600 of equipment, they insisted on charging us an additional £59 for delivery. Petty, unjustified, and not quite the wonderful customer service which some others have raved about!

In response to Vicky's reply - regrettably, as mentioned above, this function was not working when we placed our order (the system simply went round in a loop, despite trying it on three different browsers) so we were unable to see that this was an issue until the very last page of making payment.
Numerous other retailers have now managed to switch to carriers who do not charge a premium for this area, and it is just a pity that BathEmpire's customer service doesn't stretch to doing the same.

Highly recommended

Just to say that the bench was delivered safely yesterday morning, by a very pleasant delivery man who bemoaned the problems that they (UKMail) have had since relocating to a new hub near Birmingham - which accounts for the odd texts coming through with wrong delivery details. Despite this minor hiccup, customer service was excellent in trying to sort it out, and the order arrived well within the timescale that I'd have expected.

The bench was easy to put together (4 screws), and really nice, solid article - really great, and looks like a much more expensive item than it actually cost!
Will definitely use again, and would highly recommend this company.

Can't believe just how awful this company is!

I placed an order for several items on 1st December 2014. Most items arrived, although not until after Christmas, but one was missing - I emailed, querying this and - eventually - got a response saying that they were awaiting new stock, which would be in next week.
Still nothing arrived - tried again - same response.
By February, someone finally admitted that this item was out of stock and they would be getting no further supplies.
I asked for a refund of my payment, which they had taken on 1st December. (Oddly, I had to ask for this - it didn't seem to be offered, despite them saying that they couldn't supply the item)

No repayment arrived, and I have been emailing back and forth for weeks now, getting different stories form different people. They are now trying to tell me that they repaid the money onto my credit card on 16th February, despite my telling them that there is no sign of this.
Their responses are getting more and more cheeky, and totally unhelpful. I'm not sure best way forward but am sure I'm not letting them off with it. Next step is probably Trading Standards or CAB.
What a waste of everyone's time this is - why wouldn't they just accept that they've cocked up, and send out a cheque?

Quality product

Ordered this as a birthday gift for son who works abroad. It was really intended as something of a joke, but turned out to be of really high quality, and very professionally produced. Within minutes, I was able to see the exact plot that I'd bought, and zoom right in on it on Google Earth.
The postal package arrived within a couple of days, very well packaged, and tastefully designed.
I'll certainly use this again for a special gift.

Products generally good - customer service very poor and quite antagonistic.

As part of a larger order, I purchased a packet of Passion Flower RelaxAid
and was surprised to note that the expiry date on it was 09 2013 (Batch No 0003/09) - surely a very short timescale for a product bought in mid-August 2013?

I wrote to query this, thinking it was an old packet which had somehow slipped through, and received a terse and somewhat downputting reply from a Product Information Specialist, telling me that she had worked out that I had exactly the right number of days left to finish the packet before the expiry date - despite the fact that I had said I use this intermittently, and the pack instruction suggest that it only be taken when needed.
She also told me that there was a statement on the webpage that this product was being phased out, and had a short expiry date (no reduction in cost, though, I notice!) However, this statement appears only on the 'more details' page, so is not visible to the repeat purchaser who only hits on the 'add to basket' button.

The whole tone of this reply to a perfectly polite query was brusque and unfriendly - suggesting that the customer service department sees customers as a nothing more than a pain in the neck.
I have used Healthspan regularly for a number of years but, regrettably, this really makes me think that I should try to find another herbal supplier with a better customer attitude.

Great product, great service

Ordered a footstool - exactly what I had been looking for, but had seen nothing quite like it on any other website. It arrived very promptly, well-packaged, and at an excellent price. I use it every evening - soooo comfortable!
Great service, thanks - will certainly use you for toothbrush replacement heads, and all those little bits and pieces, in the future.

Great products at an excellent price

I haven't been disappointed in any of the products I've tried - and I now use most of this range. Especially enthusiastic about the daily spa body moisturiser, the rescue balm and the new hair anti-ageing conditioning capsules - which are quite different from anything else I've found, and which have already given rise to several compliments! Gave rescue balm + body moisturiser to my daughter at Christmas, and she is now a customer - says that she finds them even better than a lot of the pricey 'designer' products she had been buying!
