Breakdown service can be a godsend, but at quite a hefty cost

Have found the service a godsend on the few occasions I have had to use it in 50 + years’ membership. However, cost keeps going up with no extra consideration for those of us who make comparatively few journeys nowadays. Would like to see a sliding scale, based on average mileage.

Has been very helpful for restless leg syndrome

Impressively, my order arrived next day. I have been using it to try to help with restless leg problem and, so far, it appears to be beneficial. It's difficult to say 100%, as the problem can be intermittent, and I may just have hit a good phase, but I use it each night, just before bed, for ten minutes on each leg, and find it really seems to relax the muscle tension. Hopefully, it will continue to do so! My only quibble is the lack of proper instructions as to placement of the device, and which level to use when - only minimal info comes with it, and I couldn't locate any further details on the website? - therefore only 4 stars

Order arrived very quickly

Order arrived very quickly, well-packaged. Have only been taking the tablets for 5 days, so too soon to judge properly their effect, but have noticed a slightly more restful sleep, with less tense muscles, which may well be connected. I hope so!

It generally takes 4-8 weeks to feel the full effect of Turmeric+, so please don't hesitate to let us know how you feel after 8 weeks, we love to know how you are getting on with your supplement.

Excellent service, excellent products

Excellent service, the customer is made to feel like an individual, and is kept informed while order is in process.
A great range of products, and always lots of new ideas each season.
They become a little bit addictive - supposedly for our grandchildren, but we can't wait to try them out ourselves first!

Very helpful support!

Had accidentally deleted an email containing a potentially interesting DNA Match, was unsure of its date. Matt (MyHeritage) was very helpful, re-sent all messages within a time frame, and I found it.
Have had to use customer support on a couple of previous occasions, and must say that they have always been exceptionally helpful and pleasant, really nice to deal with.

Very unsatisfactory customer service

Have used Funky Pigeon in the past with no real problems, other than lack of clarity around what is wrong with sizing of photos used.
However, unable to shop because of COVID restrictions + health, I recently ordered a large size card and a gift for a family member. Spent ages getting photos adjusted, it looked good.Order placed on 13th January, received confirmation of order for birthday on 28th.
Late afternoon of the 25th, however, I received an email "Please accept our sincere apologies but unfortunately the card and gift item you have ordered to be despatched shortly cannot be completed as we do not currently have all products on sale due to the restricted production capacity we currently have available to us.A full refund for your order total will be processed."
By this time, it was too late to organise another card, so I could only make my apologies to recipient. Bizarrely, the gift actually arrived a day or so later (after I had ordered a substitute gift elsewhere) but there is still no sign of the card and, to date, no sign of a refund.
A really messy and unsatisfactory experience - if they had informed me at an earlier stage that they were unable to fulfil the order, I could have understood, but why accept the order a fortnight in advance, then wait until two days before the event to renege on it? and why no further updates?
Very unsatisfactory experience.

Always a pleasure to deal with!

Products are always excellent, just a little bit different from most of what is available, and always go down so well with the recipients, both children and adults.
Despite the major difficulties of trying to run an online business, arrange deliveries,etc., in the current circumstances, and at Christmas, they have done their utmost to fulfil orders in good time, respond quickly to any queries, and keep customers informed of any hold-ups. Excellent customer service, thank you.

A usually excellent service may be struggling at present?

I usually find Hermes provide an excellent service, but suspect that you are currently struggling in a very difficult situation?
The online notification system seems to have gone mad - I received umpteen notifications about recent deliveries, over the week prior to the actual delivery, and giving conflicting details - I'd no idea what on earth was happening, until one day, the items actually arrived!
This isn't really a complaint, given current difficulties - I was ignoring the request for my opinion, until Trustpilot asked me so often that I felt I had to submit something. I'm sure things will improve again.

This is an excellent service, especially just now, when many of us are very wary of going into shops. Good choice of items, arrived promptly and well-packaged, and the short questionnaire re other medications, etc., makes you feel you're getting a safe, professional service.

Great cards, very clear colours and printing, and very quick to arrive. No dearer than the average shop-bought card, and a whole lot more fun.
Also photo keyrings, make a nice little extra gift.
Would be 5 stars, if I hadn't had some initial difficulties with photo upload process.

Great service both for sending and receiving.

Great service - we often have other companies sending items to us via Hermes, but have recently used Hermes to send parcels too. Largely because of age and health issues, we were reluctant to go and stand waiting in fairly cramped space in local post office. This way, I put the parcel outside the door, your agent picks it up, recipient receives it promptly.No standing around in problematic situation, no cash has to change hands. and the cost is much the same as PO. Great in current COVID situation, but so easy that I'll probably continue using anyway.
One regret is that I never actually meet our delivery guy to say thanks, as he comes - very quietly! - between 6 -7 am!

By far the most exciting website for the average family historian.

I find MyHeritage by far the most exciting family history website (and I subscribe to several) The information which it sends out on a regular basis on possible DNA matches, historical record matches, etc., is easily understood, and has turned up quite a few really interesting possibilities for me.
The recent addition of being able to colourise old photographs is a great tool.

I've also found the few customer service representatives with whom I've had contact to be very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
My only minor quibble is with some of the suggested matches to other family trees, where there may be an error in the assumptions that tree owner has made, and it can be difficult to see how to edit that, or to change the naming format to the correct way for the country/culture involved.
Otherwise, an excellent site!

These books were ordered up as gifts for grandchildren (whom we haven’t been able to meet up with for several months now) The books have been a great success, and have been getting read to us on FaceTime!
Customer service excellent- I had to get alterations to the delivery address, and this was sorted very quickly and pleasantly. Would definitely recommend.

Really good customer service.

This is the second year that I have used Staysure for travel insurance although I haven't actually had to make use of it. I've just renewed, for a much more complicated trip to several countries in the Far East, and with health + age factors, but found the customer service agent (Michelle) very pleasant and easy to deal with. She seemed genuinely interested in my individual requirements. In fact, that has been my experience of all previous Staysure staff - they are obviously given good training, speak clearly and don't just gabble their way through a set script.
Michelle sorted everything out very competently, gave me good advice as to best choices to make, and got me a reasonable price for it all. Many thanks!

Rubbish website + rubbish service

Yesterday, I received the email below and going into the link produced messages -
1) an attempt had been made, but couldn't deliver to this address. Would I contact them to sort it out.
2) Two hours later, another message saying that Hermes was sorry parcel had been delayed, but it would be on its way in 24 hours.

This didn't make any sense, as both husband and self had been at home all day, and no-one had attempted a delivery, nor did anyone show up on security camera.
When I tried to to go further on from this page to check delivery details, the website just seemed to lead me round in circles, ending up back at the same page, over and over again.

Eventually, I left it overnight in the hope that the system glip would disappear, but it is still exactly the same. There has been no delivery attempt today, nor have I had any further emails from Hermes about this. I finally found a possible email for Hermes, wrote asking what was happening, but address is apparently out of use. Cannot find a way to make contact with anyone at all.
A totally infuriating experience, and one of which I intend to make the retailer aware.

Good item, and promptly delivered

I'm really impressed with this book - the recipient's name features at least once on every page, and includes their photograph at the end. I'm sure it'll be a big hit with the four year old who'll be receiving it at Christmas!
