Company details

  1. Medical Equipment Manufacturer

Written by the company

Therapulse is a surgeon designed product for treating the symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome. UK manufactured and recommended by many doctors. Therapulse is clinically proven to treat the symptoms of RLS. Therapulse was developed by UK surgeon, Mr Ranjan Vhadra in 2010 Mr. Vhadra graduated in medicine from St. Bartholomew's Medical School in London. He's a practicing orthopaedic surgeon and also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. When he's not operating or giving lectures to other surgeons, Mr. Vhadra works on finding treatments to bring relief to millions of people suffering from the condition. Therapulse came about through Mr. Vhadra's research as a trainee surgeon. Vibration therapy for various conditions has been around for a while, and there's been a lot of research on its effectiveness in medical literature. However, the treatment required big and expensive machines, making it only available in hospitals. But Mr. Vhadra, along with a small group of engineers, managed to shrink the electronics and make it portable for everyone. Now, Therapulse is a user-friendly, safe, and effective device that many sufferers find incredibly helpful. For many patients Therapulse is a great way to manage their condition without relying on medication. It's available in multiple countries and has successfully helped thousands of sufferers.

Great results.

It's been a couple since trying therapulse and I've got to say this small device is working. I've had bad RLS and jerking movements for a lot of years it's the most horrible condition you can imagine, I've been on every medication you can think of and some have worked for a time but the RLS always comes out on top.I would honestly say to anyone who has this terrible condition to try therapulse you have nothing to lose, there's money back scheme and help desk people are lovely. I'm so glad I've discovered this.

I had restless legs in the evening…

I had restless legs in the evening while reading or watching TV, prescribed Pregabalin which had minimal effect & some evenings had to retire to bed as early as 8.30 pm, fortunately Therapulse overcomes this & can now watch 10pm news.
Also some mornings wake with "dead arm" & "pins & needles", so tried Therapulse on arm & that works too.

100% recommend

After years of being on medication to help cure my restless legs I decided I didn’t want to rely on this as my prescription kept being increased. I tried all sorts of natural and shop bought solutions but after using therapulse finally find a cure. I just use the therapulse sporadically now as and when I need it. Would 100% recommend to anyone that suffers with restless legs. It’s easy to use and not very noisy at all.

Sitting on the fence

The product was well packaged and arrived quickly. There is much to like about this company.
* They responded quickly to questions I asked (may have been better if such information had been included - ie where best to site the device/over or under clothing etc)
* They sent a longer attachment band when I asked for it, without charge.
* The opportunity to test the product for a month, and be guaranteed a full refund is invaluable when one has, as most RLS sufferers have, spent a fortune on things that haven’t worked. I am grateful for having had this opportunity.
However I wonder if they really stand by their product. I was phoned by a member of the company and given a really hard sell on some CBD cream @£50 per month. On the lines of ‘if you sign up now I can give you a 10% discount’ etc. This would apparently enhance the effect of the Therapulse. The salesman was so persistent that I, usually very cautious, ended up giving him my bank details. I then grew worried and told him not to pursue it. But as I was anxious about giving my card details away I phoned the bank to check, and a one-off payment, and an attempt to set up a direct debit had been made by the company ( thwarted funnily enough by me giving the wrong expiry date)
This attempt to cash in on vulnerable, exhausted RLS sufferers is unethical. For sure, give them the opportunity to sign up for another product on line. But to phone at 5pm and pressurise (mainly elderly, always desperate) people to spend even more money has destroyed any faith I had in this company.

A device for a restful peaceful sleep.

When one suffers from RLS on is desperate to try anything to rid ourselves of this condition. Hopefully that you have found the right one, and this one has.
Like most things you have to wait for your body/ brain to adjust to these things after that time, pure heaven.

Brilliant

I bought Therapulse because I get restless legs at night.
I have used it a few times with good results and so far the restless legs have not returned.
I am waiting for a procedure on my knee which may cause it to return so I am happy to use the Therapulse again if it does.
Clever design and so helpful to be able to use this therapy at home.

This is my second pair of Therapulse

This is my second pair of Therapulse. I have found it useful to have second pair available so I can have a pair charged up.and ready to go should I need them when the original single pair may need charging. I have found the Therapulse have worked wonderfully in easing my restless legs symptoms. I was getting fairly fed up with other options I had been trying, from my G.P. etc. as none of them have really helped with it. I do need to say that every body is different as are the RLS sufferers and Therapulse may not work for each of us. For myself I am over the moon that at the moment they work for me. The relief is beyond belief following all the RLS symptoms I have suffered from for years now. (Since my teens.) Christine.

My therapulse stopped working

My therapulse stopped working. I emailed therapulse to see if they could explain why but no response. I haven't had it that long.If they think I am just going to buy another one they are mistaken.

15/1/25 no response from therapulse. Be careful what you spend money on if you have a difficult to treat condition.

New treatment for Restless legs...

Having been on medication for RLS for a number of years, and needing more and more to do the same job...I needed a different approach to the condition.
I read about TOMAC ( which is a electrical nerve stimulation device from the USA which had had good trial reviews.) To my mind the Therapulse device would do the same thing albeit with a vibration rather than electricity ( e.g still stimulating the same nerve).
To my surprise it seems to have worked. I use it for 10 minutes on each leg each evening and I am now reducing my medication to see if it continues to work after this is reduced or even stopped. I'm hopeful.
It's cheap ( £39 ) and easy to use.
Interestingly the TOMAC system seems to be costing $7500, in the USA....
