Scammers that will ghost you

I hired them to do some roof isolation work. They came one day and started working, although the guy had a sweater of a different company (Uw dak), shady stuff.

He installed the wrong isolation material (a cheaper one than the one I agreed to). I pointed this out and he didn't care. They told me that they were going to continue the next day but they did not come. Then, the following day they come unannounced, climbing the back wall without warning. That's actually trespassing and I could have reported them to the police.

He also manipulated a drain pipe and left it leaking without replacing it (as agreed per contract). I pointed all this by e-mail and at first they told me that they were going to give me money back but they never did and then started ghosting me. Several calls and e-mails later and no response, they did not compensate me for the wrong materials and cracking the drain pipe.

Total scammers and unprofessional people, they should be out of business.

Scammers

Scammers! I do not recommend this company at all! Both for assigning work and taking on assignments for them! As a contractor, we have not received payment for our issued invoice! No communication whatsoever! Two months of complete silence!

Dont use them!

They came to inspect the roof for a leak , advised and 3000 euro later the roof is still leaking. The work that has been done was also not completed as per the offer and almost 6 weeks later they have not made any appointment to finish the work they started.
After:
Emails x 6 (No response from Tip top - say the mails went to spam)
Calls x 6 (Waiting time approx. 20-30 min per call) Every time a different excuse.
Appointments not met x 2

They postponed todays appointment by another 9 days will keep this comment updated as they provide the service...

Unprofessional

Unprofessional, we made an appointment 3 weeks in advance, they provide a 5 hour time slot where they can come anytime so you basically need to be at your house, and at the end no body shows up, or even call!

This company committed fraud

This company committed fraud. They done jobs no one asked them to do. They are currently withholding thousands of Euro from my employer. They are completely in the wrong and should man up and correct their wrong by returning the money they stole.

I had a leak that was destroying the building every time it rained. I found TipTopDak. On 10/03 they responded very fast. I suggested it might be the gutters to their roofer. He informed me "people think it's the gutters, but it never is". He found some tiles which were damaged and broken so he came to the conclusion the tiles needed to be replaced. If you look out the window beside the leak there is a gutter full of soil(I didn't spot this for a while). You would think roofers would spot this in seconds. Anyway I took on the tile job and paid €1700 cash. (The invoice says on it "urgent due to leak")13/03 They do the tile job. They told me that should be the leak fixed. They mentioned another job that could need doing but it wasn’t related to the leak so I said I wasn’t interested. The next time it rained. We still had our leak. I contacted the roofer 20/03. He told me he would pass it to the office. It rains again on 23/03 so I msg the roofer again asking when will someone come? No response. I resend the same msg 28/03. 29/03 He responded saying the same thing.
28/03/23 I emailed TipTopDak a video of the worsening leak. Saying can they please take a look and that I had spoke with the roofer already. No response. I call them on 30/03/23. Then 03/04/23 I email again saying how i spoke with them on the phone last week. When will someone come? They respond saying they will send another quote as the leak has nothing to do with the work they done previously. I sent an email back saying how I had mentioned the cause might be the gutters so maybe they could give me a fairer quote as they could have correctly spotted the cause of the leak. This email questioning them obviously didn't go down well. Communication changed. The next day 4/4/23 I asked to see the quote as I still need the leak fixed. It's getting so bad by this stage. They responded only in Dutch(Not a problem as we are in NL but previously my ad and all correspondence was in English) saying that their system is broken and can't retrieve my quote. This email threw me a bit and was obviously a polite F-off from TipTopDak. I couldn't believe how childish and unprofessional this was. I needed this leak fixed so I posted the job on the quote website again as no response from TipTopDak. Then TipTopDak respond quickly same as before with a quote this time for €1900 to clear the gutters. 6/4 they response and take on the job. They came to do this on 14/4. Two guys came at 14:55 carrying 2 boxes of Ventura Flexim Dakmortal. They went upstairs for 1.5hrs. At the end of both jobs the roofers say they will send pictures of the work done. I'm still waiting even after asking multiple times. I thought I had been overcharged but at least the leak would be fixed. The leak was not fixed!!!
By 22/4 I have worked out the exact problem is the overflowing gutter. So I send a long email to TiptopDak with videos showing the exact problem(which they must know or they're really bad at their job). It’s too high for me to clear myself so I send an email in both languages pleading for help as we have paid them €3600 at this point and they didn't do the job they were paid to do. They send a nice enough email saying they'll be out to fix it tomorrow(Wed 25/04). They don't come. I msg every day. Every day they say tomorrow. I call them. Oh we're busy blah blah blah. How these people think they can treat customers or anyone for that matter like this is unbelievable. 3.6k and didn't fix the job which is on the original invoice. Anyway on 05/05 I got on the roof and done the job myself. I've also worked out that the second job they done was nothing to do with the gutters or the leak. They replaced tiles at the very top of the roof? No one asked them to do this and the email even shows that. And the videos!
