I agree with the other 1 star review…

I agree with the other 1 star review regarding the live event. I definitely left feeling disappointed as it was a lot of hype and not at all what I expected. Though I had previously bought the dvds and I love Per's techniques that he shares on the dvds, the poor experience I had at the live event and the even WORSE "customer service" experience I had after voicing those concerns to the company, have determined this 1 star rating. I would guess the 5 star review was left by a member of the company's "customer service" team because it sounds very aggressive and dismissive of customers' experiences just like they were when I emailed them. The company really needs to start listening to and caring about their customers' experience with their company if they expect to actually improve their service and get better reviews.

I attended a Per Bristow event in …

I attended a Per Bristow event in Sydney yesterday hoping to improve my singing technique and left feeling disappointed. It was a long day that started off with quite a lot of fanfare: Lively music and flashing lights aimed to get people into the right frame of mind. After about 10 minutes of this people were quite euphoric. That is when Per almost bounced energetically onto the stage from the wings. It was certainly a rousing beginning that initially left me with the hope that I was going to leave the event singing with a great deal more freedom. However Per focused nearly the whole day on the psychology behind singing and indeed learning, relating anecdotes from his own life and family, anecdotes of great success and occasional failure, to illustrate his points. There was very little practical exploration of technique, half an hour or 45 minutes at the most. I had saved up for this event, which wasn't cheap. I truly felt I didn't get what I paid for.

These two 'reviews' above are bogus and …

These two 'reviews' above are bogus and likely never verified by this website. Everyone knows The Singing Zone training is a membership. Only those who have done the Sing With Freedom program are allowed to be members, and nobody is ever fooled. In fact, no one is allowed to become a member unless agreeing to the terms. Thousands of singers around the world are happy members of The Singing Zone. In the forum and in the private facebook group members post questions as well as beautiful success stories constantly. There are hundreds, if not thousands of additional positive comments on facebook, on Per Bristow's blogs, on The Singing Zone site and elsewhere, and thousands have attended his live events around the world. It is also clear that while there is always a 30 day money back guarantee on the Sing With Freedom program, there are no refunds on the membership fees. Cancelling is however very easily done by sending an email, and members get email reminders often to ensure they participate in the training and get the results they came for.

I am very disappointed with this …

I am very disappointed with this company. In the first place, I never joined their membership. I did purchase something from them, so they had my credit card number. I found out this past February that the Singing Zone has been taking the membership fee from my account for the last 10 months or so to total almost $500.00. The phone number that they list on my credit card statement only gives a busy signal, so I can not call them. I have emailed them several times, only to get a generic response saying that they are sorry that I cancelled my membership. They should be able to see on their records that I never once went into the members area, because I did not order this membership. I will continue to post reviews on this company on here and every review website that I can find. I am on a fixed budget and I desperately need the $500.00 that they have stolen from my account.
