Disappointed by Post-Sale Service

When I purchased my vehicle from this dealership, I was explicitly told that it came with two sets of tires. While I received the summer tires separately (without rims, which was clarified and agreed upon), I encountered a serious issue when attempting to install them. Two independent tire shops refused to mount the tires, citing unsafe and poor condition. Their assessments were later confirmed by a licensed vehicle inspector, who also advised against using the tires due to safety risks, even if they technically meet the legal tread depth minimum.

Despite providing this documentation and photographic evidence to the dealership, the response I received from the sales manager, was both dismissive and unhelpful. He insisted that the tires were "legal" and suggested I use them anyway — only offering vague compensation if they failed an inspection. This approach entirely ignored the professional safety assessments I had submitted and gave me no practical resolution.

After repeated attempts to communicate and resolve the matter amicably (including several emails that were left unanswered) I escalated the issue to the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority and sought legal advice. I still have a vehicle stuck on winter tires in summer, which is neither safe nor reasonable.

What’s most disappointing is the lack of accountability and care shown by the dealership after the sale was completed. I had expected more from a professional dealership, especially in situations involving safety. Unfortunately, my trust has been eroded by the way this case has been handled, particularly by the sales manager, whose customer service fell well below any reasonable standard.

I hope this feedback serves as a prompt for the dealership to reassess its after-sales support and communication policies. Buyers should not be left stranded with unsafe equipment or ignored when raising valid concerns.
