Roller blinds good. Service disappointing.

The roller blinds we ordered are good. Unfortunately the service was not.
At the first visit the technician, unbeknown to us, measured our windows incorrectly, meaning that the profiles were too short therefore at the second visit the blinds could not be put up. 2 more visits (one because the company forgot the adhesive tape!) and 7 weeks later the PAX finally got it right.
For an experienced company this was unacceptable and caused us a lot of inconvenience.

Awesome blinds!

Romana helped us with all our questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very kind. Our new blinds block out the sun and keep the room at least 5 degrees cooler. We have been using the blinds for 3 months now and they function great!

I like it but...

I really like the curtain I ordered here but there was a lot of delay without being informed regularly. Also the transport company they use, it was quite uncommunicative and there was another 3 more weeks of delay with it.

Low service, missing products, delays

It is unacceptable that after so many emails and follow-ups with Pax since July until September, the products were not fully delivered, there were significant delays and we were extra charged.

We ordered the products and full installation service, considering the first offer price. The initial offer is not even displayed in the offer system.

Only after paying the full price of installation service and products described below, we had multiple problems:
- the offers are missing from the system, as they were communicated to us from the beginning; now it is displayed only the missing curtain in order for us to pay it in addition!
- after the installation of the curtains in Amstelveen, we noticed that the curtains of the left side in the attic were missing, despite very clear messages sent by email on how many windows are in the attic, how many products are needed etc. (after the measurement made at our place by Pax representative).
- 2 attic curtains were missing from the delivery,
- we discussed for 5 days in a row the installation on September 11 after 11 AM, nevertheless we were called at 10 AM during my meeting working hours and medical appointment of my husband.

You should display the initial full offer that you have sent initially and NOT remove it from the access of customer. It was this offer that we contracted as full price for all the products listed in our emails, in detail. The PAX planning person confirmed that all the product were uploaded correctly in the offer. How do you think that we would have ordered the curtains only for one side of the attic with 3 windows, letting the other side of 3 windows without curtains?!

During the installation, my husband and I were told that due to the vacation of Pax person who measured and installed the curtains, there is no clarity on how the things were managed by “the girls” from the planning and customer service.

Besides, tons of Pax emails from various departments who do not communicate to each other are polluting our inboxes with useless emails for customer needs.

Very very weird experience

Very very weird experience. I have ordered heavy night curtains June 13th. Only after me following up few days ago, they came back saying that the order is only starting to be processed now because the address was missing the house number. I asked well what does the house number have to do with the actual production time. (And why do they let people submit the purchase without entering the house number?) Then they came back to me saying yeah, we are starting to process your order with priority. (Well were the two previous weeks go to?). She sent me a confirmation date for delivery- July 16th. And after couple of hours they canceled the order. I mean- what?! Well, dear Pax company, hopefully you are giving me back the money that I paid for the curtains. Because it seems, the company is ran by kids and doesn’t want no profit by treating their customers like this.

Unfortunatly because of a fault in the system we could not produce within our expected delivery time. After your call to us, we tried to deliver with haste. You received the blinds within two weeks after that.

As we spoke on the phone, we gave €50 compenastion for the incovience caused! The curtains are delivered and are mounted as desired. As ciscussed, we will close this case.

No communication, broken promises and no curtains after 2 months

I was initially asked for a review straight after purchase and I gave a glowing one. I wish I had waited because whilst the sales service was great, the after sales has been terrible. I ordered the curtains in March and it is now over 2 months later and I still don’t have curtains. No one proactively communicates with me and every single week when I initiate follow up they tell me the material is being ordered and will arrive the next week (and then only can they start to make the curtains which will take another 3 weeks!) and that they will send an email when the material arrives. In my last follow up I told the help agent that I am very frustrated and explained how I am given the same empty promise week in and out. I asked for her to tell me how to initiate a refund and there was no response on that either. The other issue is that the order appears as "complete" on the system and it is not. I would have hoped that after my numerous queries someone would have escalated this and given the completion of my order priority - but this has not occurred.

Update Review

As a follow up to my initial experience in August 2023, PAX has rectified the issue by replacing the faulty curtains last week. I agreed to share an update to my experience as I believe in fairness and transparency.

I could barely nominate 1 star!
I recently ordered curtains and experienced the following issues -
1. Terrible customer service from the sales cycle to delivery - I was hopeful for a good outcome at the end. The sales person was helpful, however a lot of challenges in the ordering process and once you placed your order it goes into a black hole. Impossible to track, they dont respond to emails and dont get back to you when you have questions on product delivery.
2. I received my order in 2 batches, and struggled to trace the second shipment.
3. When I received my curtains, custom made, I chose the linen-look, which is quite a fragile product. The curtain arrived with the hems frayed, which was not stitched well and require repairs or replacement. I called the customer service today to be advised I cannot return the curtains, so this is really my problem to fix. I will make sure after this experience that its well communicated to ensure that this does not happen to more people.
4. Lastly, the price is not that far off compared to other suppliers, which I returned to for my remaining order.
5. Ordered 18 July - Arrived 16 Aug. Order number PA81310/2
6. Reaching out to the sales person in desperation for some help, this is the response I got!

The curtain rail didn't have enough…

The curtain rail didn't have enough hooks and doesn't allow the curtains to slide properly.

Updated 18/08:

Pax reached out and refunded me for the rail. That being said, it's still unfortunate as the current rail they provided and curtains are already up on the ceiling, but I appreciate their proactive response.

Worst customer support ever

Worst customer support ever. I have bought a curtain with the rail. Both items where not sent at the same time and the rail was returned to the sender by Post NL. I have been contacting their support but after more than two weeks still no proper answer and still no rail. The order was made more than 5 weeks ago. To make matters worse, after reading other reviews, it seems that this is their standard way of operating. This seller is an absolute waste of money, with a combination of abysmal customer support and an overall poor quality of products.

A company that sends fake delivery notifications

Avoid at all costs!
I ordered some blinds more than a month ago and haven't yet received anything, even though the delivery time was 10-15 working days.

What's even funnier is that they will randomly send you an email notifying you about a specific day and timeslot when your order will be delivered. Still, in reality, you will not receive anything.

I hope I will get my order delivered in the end, as they won't return my money either.

Wrong color and denial to change product

Terrible. I bought brown curtains but they sent me green curtains. When I complained they said I should have requested a sample and decided they would not change it. If it was just the tone of brown being unsatisfactory that answer would be acceptable, but they simply sent me a totally different color. Disappointing...

Very bad customer experience

Their customer service is really bad, they leave emails unanswered for ages, they ask you to request appointments for measurements (that they already refused to make, again), they don't give proper follow ups, and they are difficult to reach.

It is very difficult to get proper assistance from them.

The only positive thing was the fabric samples were easy to order, free and they arrived fast.

EDIT AFTER REPLY:

Can you provide a way to contact you so that I can give you my order number/contact details, without everyone else getting access to that data? Something different than the totally inefficient and irresponsive usual customer support channels?
