Based on the interaction for the last 3 years (since the incident was reported on 20th or 21st Nov 2022), the communication has been sporadic and inconsistent. I received information mostly when prompted. All the parameters in my case were not well used; a certain main parameter was totally ignored. However, having said all as above, I am happy to see the case closed now and thank the team, especially the case handler, for going through it.

I have unfortunately had a very poor experience with LD Solicitors and would not recommend them.
I was obliged to instruct this firm as they were the only solicitors on my insurer’s panel. In hindsight, had I checked their reviews beforehand, I would have realised the difficulties I was likely to encounter.
Over the course of two years, my case was handed to four different case handlers. Despite raising complaints and even requesting that a partner personally oversee the matter, this was refused. It became apparent that the firm has difficulty retaining staff, which inevitably led to inconsistencies, oversights, and a lack of accountability in handling my case.
Communication was also a persistent issue. I frequently had to chase updates via repeated emails, and arranging a short phone call with my case handler often took a week or more. Proactivity and clear guidance were sorely lacking throughout.
In my view, the firm appeared more focused on prolonging the process than on achieving a satisfactory outcome. While they continually reassured me that my case was strong, I could not escape the impression that such assurances were routine rather than based on a genuine assessment. As they are paid by insurers regardless of the result, there seemed little incentive to bring matters to an efficient resolution.
In summary, my dealings with LD Solicitors have been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to seek alternative legal representation.
