They trick you into starting a free…
They trick you into starting a free trial and then they are counting on you to FORGET about it. If you do go on to select a plan, they bill you up front for the entire year rather than a monthly subscription fee. I am now disputing a $700 charge. Poor customer service. It's impossible to talk to an actual human being. They won't even pro-rate a refund. AVOID this company!!!
customer service and support is lacking
I'm really disappointed in their customer service. I had troubles paying the bill and the customer service was completely useless.
I've been a long time customer and all my previous experiences were great but this one was rock bottom.
They said it was the bank's problem, the bank said it was their problem. It was a frustrating hour trying to pay.
The end result is that they no longer support Canadian banks that don't use 3d secure. Customer Service should have known that. The alternative payment methods are US based, too.
The issue could have been resolved in 5 mins or less instead of the hour on google it took me to resolve it on my own.
I'll be searching for an alternative for next month. There's more to the world than just the US.
Worst experience ever! Don't bother
If you want a company who continuously deletes all of your hours of work just because they decide to change the plan's features without notifying the customers! Why delete all of my output work that I already paid for before they decided to change the plan on their end. They don't feel the need to contact their customers when they want to increase prices or change your plan. I am going to the attorney general because I'm sick of being ripped off by every company in the quest to keep my business alive!

Terrible suck you into a free trial then flip that into an annual plan, just an awefull response from customer service. Basically tough luck, we wont refund the year of service for a pretty crappy product if you ask me.

Disgusting scammy practices. My trial ended without any notification. They charged me for a full year. I can't afford it nor do I think the tool is worth the price. I disputed it. They fought it and won. I tried to sign in to use this overpriced tool and can't get in. I get the message that my billing info is out of date. So you charged me almost $500 for a tool I don't want and now I can't use it? I disputed again with my credit card company, screenshots attached proving I can't get in. They told me contact Jasper customer service. Guess what? It doesn't exist. Just a chat bot and a bunch of help forums. Way to inspire the opposite of brand loyalty, guys. In this age, where you can get amazing quality AI for very little, all I can say is-- good luck.

I could not find any correspondence with them about placing an order, so I probably wanted to trial the product but did not opt to buy. What a shock when I saw a charge of $200 from jasper. I contacted their customer service many times, and nobody could find evidence of any order from me, so I disputed the charge. The credit card company did not honor the chargeback. What a scammy and dishonest way of doing business! No opt-in, no confirmation of purchase, and no evidence of any purchase. This type of business practice should be illegal. It is very upsetting.

You have refused to cancel my subscription despite several attempts to get you to do so. I am unable to talk to a human being to just ask you to stop taking my money. This has gone on from before you were Jasper, back when you were Jarvis. As I am ill I will now be able to concentrate on your crooked ways.

Scammers, don't ever use jasper ai. When I tried to start trial and added card details. It gave an error that your card was declined by your bank and unable to start free trail. But when i saw message from my bank it said hi recurring transaction has been enabled at jarvis - conversion.ai on bank credit card

Scam company
I wanted to try the Jasper AI writing assistant for my company. Jasper charged me a significantly higher price for the subscription than the pricing shown on their webpage (almost twice what was advertised) and even after I canceled the subscription, I kept getting charged. Customer service was not responsive so eventually I had to cancel the subscription through my credit card provider.
Absolute thieves
Absolute thieves. They don't allow you to cancel after you take the free trial to try them out. They'll keep charging you because they disabled "Cancel" button.
If you have no protection on your Credit Card, you are doomed my friend.
I signed up for the free trial
I signed up for a free trial but was unable to use it. Unfortunately, I mistakenly set a calendar reminder for the trial cancellation on the wrong day. When I realized I had been charged for not canceling before the trial ended, I reached out to the company via chat, but was unable to connect. I subsequently contacted them three times requesting a refund of $500, but have been unsuccessful. Despite attempting to cancel within 24 hours of the charge and not having used the service, I did not receive any assistance. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working with this company if you require prompt responses or assistance with your subscription. It is disheartening to have lost $500 in this manner.

This service is run truly on AI software, I paid $500 and in over the 5 months I have not once had different captions to improve the Social Media captions I use for our restaurant. I wanted to express the level of my disappointment with customer service provided by Jasper. After spending $500, I have nothing but lack of responsiveness and support when seeking assistance with what appeared to be repetitive and subpar AI-generated content.
I received a flat refusal when requesting direct contact with a representative of your company. As a result, I am compelled to consider sharing my experience on platforms such as Trustpilot to shed light on all the challenges and lack of support.
I believe that addressing this matter with due seriousness is crucial, and not to be ignored!!! I will give your company 5 days to resolve my concerns, but if you fail to respond and resolve the matter I will ensure that other customers do not encounter similar frustrations. This sucks, you act like you don't care, not to mention you dump a whole lot of emails *only recently* to try to show you're helping people doesn't cover the fact of 2023.
